Does anyone know if there is a walk through some where to fork the Electrum Android wallet and Electrum servers for altcoins? I have a LTC fork that I am playing around with to learn more about blockchain and app development. I haven't been able to find any documentation on how to use Electrum for altcoins. Any help on what needs to be done to get it work would help.

Thanks!

I don't know any specific guides or tutorials, but since your fork is based on LTC, Looking around the LTC electrum repository would be good to go. Refer to https://github.com/pooler/electrum-ltc/, you can also compare it to the original Electrum bitcoin to see which parts do they change. That way you can see how they build up/fork the wallet into LTC.

Hey zzbolt97

Most of Electrum Altcoin like (ETC, BCH, etc) is being forked by source code from Electrum for BTC. So, tried to looking from there all of Electrum Wallet for Altcoin like (ETC, BCH, etc) is a fork wallet.

So, it's better to get the source-code from the main source they are using for forked wallet.
