Does Solana have a future?

I'm not trying to argue with my friend, but rather a discussion that can make the experience for me personally and improve it even more, especially since my friend has been on this forum for a long time, for me Solana is not strong enough to last for now, so the hype is going to affect the future

No worries my friend,,, I get you, I guess I just have a bad reaction to most altcoins and that is not because I look down on them or their supporters but because it reminds me about how I started my crypto journey.

I supported a few projects I thought was strong, great tech, great devs etc etc whatever right? But in the end I learned that the technology and the volatility and the ideas actually matter not as much as the one big thing Bitcoin has that others do not.

And that is utility. If nobody uses it,,, there is nothing to stand behind any argument for it.

Altcoin 'communities' are just people staying in a channel so they do not miss airdrops or token announcements or bounties,,, things like that.

Bitcoin communities are many pockets of people who are not interested in markets alone but go out there and use it in the daily lives. Educators, developers, users, and buyers. BTC is not near $50k today because of tokenomics or bounties or marketing or 'community' events on Discord. But because of utility

Personally think that there is a future for SOL.

Even though yes, it is more centralised than a lot of the other blockchains, its performance when the network is up is undeniably good.

And there are just a lot of new apps that are deploying on the Solana blockchain right now, which is a healthy sign that a blockchain has a strong ecosystem going forward. Certainly worth watching going into 2024 in my opinion.

If Solana is able to mitigate issues along the way, then it will certainly have a bright future. Otherwise, not. Constant network outages will make people look elsewhere. Why do you want a high performance blockchain network when it's completely unreliable for day-to-day payments? Stability and reliability is of utmost importance to businesses and corporations. Without these key traits, the project will lose an ample userbase faster than you can imagine.

At least, the project is open source. Hopefully, talented developers will improve the SOL blockchain to move things in the right direction. Who knows what will be of this cryptocurrency 5-10 years from now? Just my thoughts

The Solana project has potential on par with other major projects, but I wonder why anyone would doubt it.
When it comes to prices, it seems that everything is the same, not only Solana, but even old projects like bitcoin and ethereum will not stay stable above or below, because that's normal.
We always judge projects based on the way they work and their community, And of course Solana no doubt, I'm never worried about Solana's future they will get better soon.

So far bitcoin has been a bit on the green track, this is a sign the recovery scheme is going well, although there is no certainty in the next pricing, and what I see this is the first bullish point to put them on a normal scheme going forward

I don't see the development of DEFI at the moment, although defi is currently in decline with its rival NFT, I believe Solana is a good project in the future with the blockchain technology they use, Judging from the Total Supply only: 511,616,946 SOL, this is a good guide for investors in investing and trading.

Solana is also a good project in terms of system development and innovation. Likewise, it may need more time to reach the highest resistance price in the global trading market. On the other hand, the exchange market is always fluctuating relying on demand and supply which is exactly the same routine as other altcoins and BTC.

I do agree that altcoins are getting out of hand with this marketing rush type of deals. I mean it's clear to me that we are talking about something that is a bit more like a business instead of a crypto project. Coins and tokens should not act as a business, they are not a business and they should not focus on marketing their project. If you need to do marketing, then you are not a good project to begin with.

If you are good to begin with then you will not need to do marketing because people will see how good you are and will buy as much as possible. If you think you have a good coin/token and it is not high because it lacks marketing, then it is not a good one at all.

Solana's price fell after the highest ATH was reasonable because the prices of all other coins also fell following the development of BTC prices and for Solana's development so far from year to year it is quite positive and always has a good future so there is no denying that Solana is still very worthy for us to keep in the long term.

They put budget for the marketing their project, they are building more people to come into the platform. I think its worth doing to make it popular.

Have not really invest in SOL but its very visible these time that SOL is worth investing because its on the top 6th already in the CMC rank. Its climbing fast, its not yet its ATH so it seem early still. Users make use of Solana because of its cheap transaction fee, it makes it good for its future.

Many say that Solana's price and marketcap are too pumped so that it hasn't been a year since it has entered the top 10, but I think what happened to Solana is worth getting, now the platform continues to grow due to increasingly massive support from third parties. and I'm sure Solana will continue to grow.

This. For sure. They are running a generic business, without an actual product or even service. Copypaste code is the most, and you see that there nowadays is not even a bother with whitepapers anymore, such is the clear focus on short term profit that developing ideas is no longer part of the equation and speculators,,, they specifically look for marketing.

Even in the channels you see whiners asking why there is no marketing or not enough big marketing. It is so totally crazy.

Solana definitely has a future, I see it breaking $1,000 or more during the next big bitcoin bull market. You’re probably going to have to wait until 2028 or something but Solana will fly because it has such a high ceiling. It has such big potential for huge price increases near future.

It is this difference that makes bitcoin and altcoin very different, altcoins are busy with marketing and are constantly looking for the market to make them look big, while bitcoin is constantly improving development, testing and the market reaction it causes, so the market comes by itself, when bitcoin has become bigger and bigger. quite a lot of enthusiasts or investors are eyeing it, it's difficult to get a persuasive approach to both, but in general bitcoin's reaction is more pronounced than altcoins

The hype around the Solana blockchain is gradually declining and this is because of so many ruse around it. Solana has a blockchain is a very alternative to ethereum but the projects that make use of the Solana blockchain do not only ridicule it but use it so Scam crypto lovers. All said and done i am still of the opinion that Solana as a blockchain has come to take it own quarter from the crypto space which means it has come to stay

Solana's reputation has indeed gone down as a result of the many scam token projects based in Solana which have an impact on people's lack of trust in projects that are present on the Solana blockchain. even though solana itself is a very good blockchain with unquestionable speed in transactions.

but now solana is starting to bounce back and build a good reputation. so it could be that the price of solana will approach ATH within this year.

I think it is already since it is on the top coins. Some says that it's IMO project is fead but as we can see it's a topc coin on the marketcap in terms of it's crypto volume and price. Although it seems like a bit quiet now for solana because many tokens has emerged as by bep20 tokens that many investors are on, but hopefully solana is still active and well deserved coin now and even in the future. But who knows if Solana making it a $1000  bucks and people who are late to recognize this may have regret in the long run, but that's just my perception, but who knows, anything is to be possible in crypto space.

I don't think it's quiet because of the BSC tokens, but it's because now on the Solona network there are a lot of shit tokens that were just made. no development and just trying to take advantage of the hype from the Solona market which is experiencing a fairly large increase.
and now Solona is also not quiet, market conditions like this are quite reasonable, even when the Bitcoin market is experiencing a correction we can see how Solona is not affected by the Bitcoin correction.
Solona is great for the long term.
