Maganda talaga sana coins.ph for an exchange. Very convenient ito and ang dali mag convert from crypto to cash para makapag bayad ka ng mga bills, etc. Pero over the years na ginagamit ko si coins.ph, mas lalo silang nagiging restrictive and strict sa TOS nila.

I remember, wala pang EKYC before siguro around years of 2017. When they implemented EKYC, they even asked for my GCash transaction history, etc. para lang ma-prove na legit yung origin ng funds ko. Now na naging okay na ang lahat, when they found out na yung proceeds ng BTC ko ay nanggagaling sa isang gambling website, they restricted and limited my withdrawal limits.

Kaya to be honest, nag hihintay talaga ako na magkaroon ng malaking competitor si coins.ph kasi medyo sumosobra na talaga sila sa regulations nila.

pwede bang paki share yong sinasabi mong announcement ng partnership? dahil parang wala naman ako nababasang ganito both Gcash and coins.ph site , kung meron man sa facebook tiyak fake news yan bagay an usong uso sa facebook at iba pang social media platform.

and besides karamihan nga satin eh gusto na dumistansya sa Coins.ph eh so kung makikipag partner ang gcash eh ano pang aasahan din nating serbisyo?

...
Food panda sucks, I've used them many of times and what I only like them is you can send someone food away from you and in another location if you want to treat someone. I've used gcash for loading up with my balance there but why is it that they've changed the terms and only PayPal or visa. That's crazy, knowing that they're in a country where it's mostly dominated by gcash/paymaya.

Looks like FoodPanda is German and trades one the German stock exchange.  Grab looks to be Singaporean trading on NASDAQ.  A cursory glance doesn't show that the same entities control both corporations, but it doesn't show that they don't either.  This can be of interest because if you own both Coke and Pepsi, it really doesn't matter much if one gains in marketshare at the expense of another.

I did not know that feature of FoodPanda, and we normally wouldn't use it, but it is interesting.  I kinda have to wonder if they are basically trying to shut FoodPanda down in The Philippines and the 'bad' business decision wasn't a method of doing it...

I do expect that at some point, and maybe not that far in the future, the procedures for getting food will be similar to what they are now for getting shabu.
That can happen but if they're wise enough, they're not going to use any local payment method.

... I am anticipating a situation where due to a largely engineered/phony food crisis, people are compelled to get rations from the state using QR code apps.  Most people will comply or they won't eat.  Nothing will be said about the vax...at first.  That will come with the following new 'health crisis' once people are acclimated to using a rationing system and the methods of implementing this are sufficiently tightened down.

If such a plan is undertaken it would imply a simple one-to-one relationship between a provider (the state and their distributors), and the consumer.  Barter and other complexities would interfere with and complicate execution.  Best to simplify things by quietly sidelining and closing things which could interfere with such a system.  The problems which are likely to show up (e.g., people dying of starvation) can be blamed on other undesirable things (e.g., 'cash') and on the people who wish to use such relics.
