I don't know if shibainu's trend will change in the coming days. Maybe shibainu could go on a big uptrend, so anything could happen here. But I don't want to take entry in this coin for long term trade. Because many people are skeptical about the future of this coin. So even if this coin becomes a huge pump, I will have no regrets. If you spend a little time in the market and do research then you can find a good project.

Shiba inu has done pretty well from all time low to all time high, the percentage increment it had done is absolutely amazing, calling it the next gem is just not worth it, Shiba can't pull another x10 or more, the market cap is extremely high, its best to look out for low market cap coin for a possible next gem

Next GEM or Next TRAP?  Shiba Inu's time had expired already last year and now look at that coin ? what is the movement ? i hate to say this but SHIB seems to be having no future anymore , or maybe if being compared to Dogecoin? then for another years maybe there will be a chance in meaning? we must keep it hold for 4-5 years to taste that Being said GEM .

Is not it depend on bitcoin? Don't you see the chart? I think that shiba is not yet preparing for another bullrun. it doesn't give massive increase again but at least not for this time.

Shiba lovers will see the whole market going up, and claim that Shiba is doing awesome and they will go "I told you so!" when in fact like 90 of the top 100 was going up at the same time. Do not really worry about people who claim that some memecoin will be going up and will be dominating the market, even if it does go up, that is usually when others are going up as well so there is really no advantage to hold Shiba Inu right now.

This is a coin named after the dog, that doge was moulded about, and they are hoping that it would go up based on that. This is what they are providing to people, this is what they want you to invest into.

 People who are trying to find a gem in crypto world will not find that in memecoins. There is no need to find it in shitcoins at all. There are so many projects that are working to get the market better, innovate new things, improve the crypto world all together. If you really want to invest into a "gem" then you should invest into those. I will not name them because then I will sound like a shill account for those projects but it is clear to me that we are talking about something that is clearly different from a memecoin. I've been observing this token a bit, so far I think Shib does have some hope for the future. Even I saved a little with free funds. The reason is currently Dev is trying to change Shib which was originally dubbed the MEME coin which has no clear function. Slowly they are launching programs like shibaswap, NFT, Metaverse, burning, and are likely to build Shiba on their own blockchain network. So if all those projects are fulfilled do you still consider Shib a MEME coin? If so then you need to find out what Meme coin is.

The hype may gone for now but soon, if the price starts to rise again investors will come.
I also see a good future with SHIB consider that this is one of the best meme tokens today and many investors are also with SHIBA. If there’s a huge update and huge adoption for SHIB, expect for the price to recovers. Long term hold fo SHIB are more ideal to do for now.

If something is only depending on the hype it could get, then I am sorry but there is no way it could ever get a success. I am not saying this because I believe that we would not be getting a good return on shiba, if you invest then it is up to the market if you would make a good return or not. Maybe you will make a profit, or maybe you won't.

However, I am 100% certain that nobody should risk their money in the long term in something like this. I am 99.99% sure that this project will fail in long term. This is why it is wiser to invest into things that makes more sense, at least that way you would be able to feel more comfortable when the price drops because you would know that it would go up higher.

What makes you think that shib is more perfect than doge when doge is only the original meme coin and the rest was just a copy. They don't have originality. Is it because the logo of shib are drawn better than doge, or what else? the title of the internet of money is also for bitcoin alone.

It is very likely that both of them next gem then become a trap because after that down without stoppable.

It's possible that this will happen considering their moves in the last year but it's possible that every year they will be in pretty good terms at least once but after that yeah as you said they will be back out and probably will almost forever be that pump to up (does not rule out new ATH) after that it drops drastically as usual so it starts moving again from the bottom with their pumps. this will be repeated in my opinion

The hype memecoins like doge and shiba receive in the past doesn’t mean that they are a gems coin, it just happen that some popular people hype them that gives them impact and value. But after than that there’s nothing especial about it to be consider as a “gem” since it’s still a meme coin even they have plan to change or add functions in it. There are more coins listed in top of coinmarketcap that can be tag as gem in the future that shows potential by their idea as well the teams plan and ways to market it.

 This is exaclty what I mean. They are decent and loving stuff that I would not mind supporting, but at the same time they are not that great at all. They are decent, and they will probably have a small future, but they will not keep their standings at all. More serious and loveable stuff will get a better result eventually. Plus "gem" should be about smaller scale stuff that could go high a lot, shiba is already highly ranked, so for that to be a gem that could get you x100 return is impossible right now, it won't happen. People who think that shiba is the "next gem" are wrong and they will be very upset in the end.

Personally I am amused rather than offended when I hear stuff like that, since I came to this market long time ago and I was newbie I heard stories about a particular altcoin being better than bitcoin and it was just a matter of time until bitcoin got replaced.

Many years have passed since then and nothing has changed, people still claim their favorite project can surpass bitcoin with the same fervor that people in the past did, and you know what? That is never going to happen, but if people want to believe it is possible then let them, as they will have to find out the hard way this was not possible and lose the capital they invested in such a coin.

The success is related to the fact that it's relatable to people who are not hardcore in the crypto world. Shiba and doge are memecoins but those memes predates the coin itself. Which means that it has been around the online world for a long time and people do not mind putting some small amount into it.

If this was just the crypto world then it wouldn't have gotten super high but since it is not just the crypto world, and the outer internet world that got into it, there are way too many people who bought it because it was a meme that they knew about. Plus the Elon Musk sponsorship did provide a big base for it to jump from as well and this is the result right now.

Dont anticipate that much because it would really be just able to create some frustration if you do see and had noticed that you are waiting up for so long on the price to hit up x100. Considering on how
high it do able to make it out then it would be just common sense that it wont really be reaching out even more x2 into its ATH price which is understandable.
Feel sorry for those who had caught themselves in the dump which is a really very common scenario into this market whether you do take profits immediately or would miss out those opportunities

This makes sense, we already know how SHIB token works and we should be more careful this time so we will not be trap again. SHIB is already here in the market, he has a chance to pump but wasted it because of so many negative news before, well that’s obviously normal for a meme token which we can’t expect that much. I know SHIB can rise again but that is because of the hype, after that it will go back to its bottom price and make a lot of investors cry for their losses.

I agree, SHIBA is a meme coin, and I think Shiba falls into the speculative category, which we can trade quickly for profit. Not as a holding coin or long term investment. Memecoin has big risks, the hype on the coin meme has also slackened. This resulted in Shiba could fall at any time drastically.
