Place a tribunal trial on Putin, he deserves to be probe, this was unanimously heard from leaders and people across the continent as over 800,000 petitions was already signed against the Russian president over his unlawful invasion of Ukraine causing lost of lives and properties as the world raises alarm over such a berbaric display of war causing several attacks as Putin engage his soldiers waging war over Ukraine.

It is said that Putin will be hold responsible for engaging on war which has claim many loss of lives and properties as  petition signed against him has reached over 1.3 million votes and still counting as at the time of writing this report.

Another update is coming from the Ukrainians president starting willingness to engage on a peace talk with the Putin administration on possible terms and fulfilling agreements over the attack
Quote
Zelensky also warned that any peace agreement involving “historic” changes would be put to a national referendum.
https://www.channelstv.com/2022/03/22/zelensky-renews-offer-of-putin-talks/amp/

looking at Putin's physical appearance, i have never seen a scenario of his engagement on a laughter before, same is relating the war invasion with his physical look and prompted me to ask "should a book be judge according to the appearance of it cover?

Is the Petition signed against Putin worth making him end the war?

Is the Petition signed against Putin worth making him end the war?

He doesn't care he's bombing residential buildings known for sheltering civilians, he doesn't care he's bombing hospitals, he doesn't care of all the sanctions and do you really think that he'd care whether a number of people sign into a spreadsheet from behind their computers?!

He will most probably face a lot of charges, and not only from Ukraine side, when he will get caught (if he will be caught alive, obviously) with or without that petition.

I find that petition mostly a cheap attempt of a newspaper gain popularity, really...

This is a mere threat. Does it seem like Putin care about the petition against him? Someone that challenges the whole world to interfere and get attacked by him.
Russia has given Ukraine until the early hours of Monday to surrender the besieged city of Mariupol, as Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he is ready for peace negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
War is not the answer, peace is the answer to war

Biden already called Putin as war criminal but he doesn't care about it, do you think signing in an online petition will habe any effect? Everyone concerned about people affected by the war but still the president of Ukraine is not showing any sign of oeace talk with neutral moodz he is still on the side of NATO join so probably Putin won't stop unless Zelensky comes down.

Putin dosen't look like one troubled by the numerous petition filed against him. From the look of things Putin is even ready to wage war with any country that will interfere posing treats here and there. It won't be nice if Zelensky decides to compromise for the sake of peace.

If Zelensky should decide to use peaceful measure to handle the invasion then he should be careful of the extent to which he makes his deal with Putin so it doesn't trigger another war in the future. carelessly signing of documents can lead to modern slavery

if it can stop the war then i am willing to sign any petition, but the obstacle we encounter is that Putin is not afraid of the many sanctions, casualties and also petitions.  he is not human, he is a monster because only a monster who doesn't care about the lives of the victims who died because of the war he started.

Actually this petition is useless because let alone the petition, sanctions from the west alone have burdened them, Putin did not respond to it. People should go straight to Ukraine and fight there instead of making this useless petition.

Setting aside this worthless petition, how would you propose capturing Putin in order to make him stand trial? He is nearly 70 and he's declining in health. Let him die of natural causes and then worry about the next Putin who is set to take over Russia. The successor will adopt the crisis in Ukraine, and there is the gamble that this person is more unhinged than Putin himself. A deleterious successor is more concerning than Putin.

Is the Petition signed against Putin worth making him end the war?

Sure would be nice if it were that easy, signing a petition and declaring war over.

It would mean much more if you stopped using Russian products and services. If anybody prints this petition and brings it to Putin he'll wipe his ass with it. Seriously, he gives orders to kill people every day, only a bullet or prison might stop this man. Petitions work in democracies. Russia is not a democracy. Putin wanted to change the constitution so he could become a president again and he did. Putin wanted to add some more fake votes to assure his win and he did. He wanted to attack Ukraine and he did, he didn't make a poll among common Russians to know if they agree or not  Tongue

IMO, petitions is one of the most pointless things ever. Nobody is paying attention to it in democratic countries and now we are talking about mad dictator who don't care about people lifes, sanctions that kill his country economics and long term consquences of war. But no, he will stop war because of petition. Petitions is good thing only to show people's position.

Everyone concerned about people affected by the war but still the president of Ukraine is not showing any sign of oeace talk with neutral moodz he is still on the side of NATO join so probably Putin won't stop unless Zelensky comes down.
What do you expect Zelensky to do? Give up and let Russia to occupy country. And if you follow his statements, Ukraine has already lost hope to be ever accepted in NATO or that they will announce no-fly zone over Ukraine.

Setting aside this worthless petition, how would you propose capturing Putin in order to make him stand trial? He is nearly 70 and he's declining in health. 70 isn't that much. War or genocide criminals were punished even at 90 years or even more. Though, I hardly see scenario how to capture him. But anyway, Putin didn't deserved to die in natural way after all he did.
And I afraid that next president after Putin won't be much better, considering that majority of Russians support their current politics direction and this war too.

what free world? what do you mean with that? who is free? the us under covid and racist woke restrictions? or we in this Forum and Internet in which Russian Media is banned who allowed you to call yourself citizen of the free world? How are Russians not allowed to have autonomy from Ukranians but Ukranians can have Autonomy from Russians

what does "dePunitify" even mean?

how about the west gets free of wokism, and zionist extremism, and we find a new solution to terrorism against israel than destroying countries regularily like a lawnmower, besides it doesn't work in the long term at all as there is more and more islamic terrorism in the middle east because of it.

all the destruction in the middle east was to prevent the states there to grow towards a technological capability so terrorists could use those infrastructure to harm israel,

there has to be a solution that doesn't mean we have to destroy the middle east over and over again, how about challenging islamic ideology, that should be done then by the jews themselves since christianity and islam are both their offsprings.

I say 70 with apprehension for the reason that people live much longer than that with OK cognitive function, but Macron visited Putin and alluded to something about his mental status not being up to par. I'd speculate the onset of dementia or senility at his age if what Macron says is true. The successor of Putin won't be much better, but for sake of the rest of the world, hopefully he won't be any worse either.

Putin is Running now exactly the same Human Rights Seperatism arming "freedom fighters" agenda the west has told him for decades to do, you can't blame Putin.

Putin found in the Ukrainian government a fascist surpressor, and in the donbass autonomy movement a freedom group, exactly like the west finding anti communist nationalist movments as freedom fighter in the oppressive soviet union.

so putin follows up what the west has teached him,

The successor of Putin won't be much better

Depends on the nature of the transition, I suppose. The way things have gone over the last month, I can't imagine it being a peaceful, dignified swap to a hand-picked successor. More likely Putin goes down in flames and the next one comes in (hopefully democratically-elected) on an "I'm not Putin" ticket*.

I mean, I'm not hugely confident there will be a democratically-elected successor, it's far more likely to be someone chosen by the oligarchs and others from the elite... but surely they'd take care to pick someone who wouldn't cause all their considerable global assets to get frozen.

There is so many conspiracy theories about Putin health, and it's likely that not everything is ok with it. These long tables in meetings and being isolated is sign of it.
But it's also possible that these conspiracy theories is far from reality and he will live for 20 more years. It's difficult to predict who would replace Putin if something will happen to him, but I can't imagine Russia turning into new democracy or something similar.

Putin won't be scared by any petition, who is going to arrest him? maybe just sanctions in the future. Putin miscalculated this war, he didn't envisage this level of prolonged war and destruction, he thought the President of Ukraine would flee after day3 of invasion and he would effect  a regime change but that didn't go as planned. He is shy to call it off.
