Thank you for this update, UniJoin! And I am more than glad to see that many users appreciate the information shared in the blog posts!

At same time, at UniJoin's suggestion, I am posting below the review which I made for them in April 2023:

Premium review and suggestion spreadsheet#10

1. The first impression the website offered me was that it looks too crowded. Chosen colors are relaxing the eyes, but the homepage, to say the least, is overcrowded.

2. On the homepage there is a banner showing various companies (Yahoo!, Yahoo! Finance, Yahoo! Money, Cryptonews etc.) but the banner has no explanation to state why those companies are listed there. Perhaps they are partners on UniJoin, but, even so, there should be an indication for that (something like "Official Partners"). Moreover, when clicking on Yahoo! name, the displayed page is not Yahoo!'s homepage, but Yahoo! News homepage. Maybe this name should be replaced with Yahoo! News.

3. If the above mentioned banner is a list of official partners, then maybe it can be mentioned at the bottom of the page, for making homepage look less crowded.

4. When switching the website localization to Chinese, from the button placed on the top-right of homepage, China's flag is not displayed. Besides, the "N" from "CN" is also not entirely displayed.

5. Another element of overcrowding the website is the presence of "Start Mixing" / "Mix Now" buttons, which appear everywhere. On home page these buttons appear in four places: on top-right corner of homepage, under the "Make your Crypto Finances Untraceable" title (both being on the upper area of homepage), under "Use UniJoin To Anonymize Your Cryptos" title and under "Your Anonymity Is Our Priority" title (both being on the lower area of homepage). Besides, when accessing any area of the website by clicking its various buttons, on each section there is again a "Start Mixing" or "Mix Now" button. Example: click on the buttons from the top of homepage - Why UniJoin, Referral, Pricing, FAQ, Blog, Contact Us. On each of these pages there is a "Start Mixing" / "Mix Now" button. It seems somehow pushy for the user, like the website cares only for mixing coins and thus it tries to determine the user to click on mixing buttons on absolutely any area of the website. Perhaps it would be a better idea to have the button displayed only once or twice on homepage and to be removed from the other website sections, thus having a section of the website dedicated to mixing the coins. As comparison, image an email provider homepage where you would see in 4 places on the homepage the fields for entering user / password. Furthermore, there is an inconsistency regarding the name of these buttons, as in one place the name is "Start Mixing" and in another place the name is "Mix Now". Perhaps, for consistency matters, all these buttons could have a unique name.

6. When the user starts the mixing process, on the page named "One Last Step Before Mixing Your Coins!" is a field named "Order Status Link". The URL written there appears truncated. Perhaps the respective field can be enlarged a bit, thus the entire URL is visible?

7. Still on the "One Last Step Before Mixing Your Coins!" page, there is a warning, saying "If no funds are received within the remaining time, this link will be deleted [...]". However, there is no time counter displayed there.

8. Transfer-wise, the system is working on its basic parameters, meaning that I successfully received my mixed funds with the default delay time. However, I would suggest to have this test performed on various settings of delayed time, in order to be sure that it works properly on any amount of time set as delay.

9. Other than these, I tested the website menu functionality and all buttons are working.

10. Localization-wise, I would advise to UniJoin to try to recruit natives from all the languages in which the website is localized, in order to perform a full proofreading check and spot all translation problems. Seriousness in writing, having no typos, having all the text localized not by translating the words, but also idiomatic, may be crucial in giving a first good impression to website visitors. Otherwise, if many grammar / typos are encountered on various localizations, users may think that the website admins are illiterate and they may lose their enthusiasm in using the services. So far I searched the text only on English localization and it looks fine, but I can not say anything about any other language supported by the website, as I don't speak the respective languages.

I will end here this feedback, but I will come back in case I will find any other bug on the website or in case I'll have more suggestions.

Congratulations, UniJoin!

We corrected the name of the local translation.

Also we have published a new exciting article! This is the 4 part and the continuation of one big thought!

https://unijoin.medium.com/bitcoin-a-history-of-revolutionary-minds-2c767e87685a
Another good read and informative article from you guys. A lot of names have been dropped there that have played a role into different markets and economies. I'd say that this is really a great article, having those references in the past and history. This isn't just giving the idea of the roots Bitcoin but also the private money, economies and markets up to the current time that has mentioned on this article. Looking forward to see the part 5.

Yes, it is on our roadmap to offer an API for UniJoin, so that shops and services can implement our service into their site.

Also, we want to create a system, which will be used to pay for a service who are requesting an exact amount.

This looks promising. Will it be a browser add-on or a program? Will it work as an independent system like btcpayserver, or is it an additional service for the site, where it is possible to choose the withdrawal address and the required amount, and then pay.

There is an additional problem, which is that most Bitcoin POS or services that accept bitcoin have a deposit time range of 15 minutes to 2 hours, on average 30 minutes, and the average use of [banned mixer] may be longer.

Could you please elaborate on how this system is going work?

Are clients going to make payments using premixed coins or they will have to first go through the whole mixing process when making payments?

At the time I read the third and fourth articles, although since I commented on the first two, I had not said anything about them in this thread. Now I have taken the time to reread them and want to comment on them.

The third article in the series is about private money and its love/hate history with public money. Nowadays people take it for granted that the money they use is issued by a Central Bank and approved by their government, as if it had to be so, while if we look at history (in the article focused on the USA but similar in other parts of the world) we see that it was not always so, with its consequent tensions between who wants to have the monopoly, and who resists.

As is often the case, the tension was resolved by prohibiting the private issuance of money in the interest of security. Here, as in many other cases, we are faced with the eternal debate between freedom and security, with governments, especially those of leftist nature, placing more emphasis on restricting freedom in pursuit of the supposed improvement in security.

Satoshi must have been well aware of this when he created a P2P electronic cash to compete with national currencies, which is why he remained anonymous.

The fourth article analyzes the political side of Bitcoin, which according to the author is not the same as ideological, and on this point I do not entirely agree. For the author, although traditionally the defense of private money had been made from individualist ideology, Bitcoin is used by people of various ideologies, including radical leftists, and therefore makes the distinction.

I don't want to get too long on this, but that's like saying that buying houses to rent them out is Marxist because there are radical leftists who do it (I know a person like that). No, there are pragmatic issues that lead people of a certain ideology to act in a way that at first sight does not seem to agree with their principles. For me, Bitcoin, at least the private P2P use escaping state control is closely linked to libertarian ideology, that puts people and their interactions at the core of problem solving and good functioning of societies, rather than the state or similar structures.

Anyway, the article emphasizes that it is a tool that put in our hands can change the destiny of humanity as the printing press did. The end of the article gets a little dense, especially for those who have no previous knowledge of economic or monetary policy, but after analyzing the failure of some private money issuance with a wrong ideological basis, in my case the end leaves me waiting for the delivery of the next chapter.

I didn't get to read the articles, but this made me curious. I started somewhat abruptly with this 4th, and after reading it I got convinced to make a mental note and come back to the rest too one of the next few days.

I agree with PP, the article gets quite dense in some places, needing quite some focus when reading it (luckily I am not unfamiliar - thanks to bitcointalk - with US financial decisions of the past). But it's a good one and I like the analogy with the printing press (although repeated a bit more time than I would have done it).

I see it more a choice of words from author's side. I like the way it was written

It empowers the individual which is a profoundly political act.

Bitcoin gives power to the people, power that most don't fully understand (I know you do understand it, you are old enough around here). People can make a (political or not) statement with rather small risk1 to see his money gone because government and the bank decided so (probably the risk is small in US for this to happen, but in China, Russia, ... or even Canada, ... you know...).
This kind of power can change the world. Can start revolution(s). Gives more freedom. And all that can be seen as political (generally political, no matter what politics/what ideology).

.. At least this is my take on all this.

_____
1 Some risk still exist, since the "state" can harm the people you care about, or, if you don't know how to properly store your coins it may get access to them. Plus, Bitcoin is pseudo-anonymous, hence it can be tracked, in some cases even back to you (of course, all this is known).

I see it more a choice of words from author's side. I like the way it was written

Ideas also vary among people and some may agree, some may disagree. Let's not forget though that the author of the book is not a tech-savvy, but a voluntaryist and an individual feminist, which tries to approach Bitcoin from political and ideological points of view. This book is not for tech experts, but for those interested about history or governments' approaches from the past regarding private money, freedom and cryptography and it's meant to help people understand better the need for Bitcoin and how it can improve our lives. It's no coincidence that the author makes so many references to Austrian economists, such as Hayek or Murray Rothbard. These people debated about the need of private money decades before Cypherpunks were born.

The analogy with the printing press was a very powerful one. It shows what a game changer can do to our world, for the benefit of the many... I am more than certain that, if you read until here, the book attracted you and you will read also the remaining parts!

Well, I think it only gets really dense towards the end of the fourth article. When someone writes divulgatively he always finds himself with the dilemma that if what he writes is very understandable for the lay public he is probably oversimplifying, and if the explanation is more technical the text will not be so accessible to the non-specialist public. In general I think the author maintains a good balance in the articles.

Wouldn't be nice if all of us who stop and read the articles would also press the like and follow button ? I think it would be a normal thing to do as long as you are really enjoying the articles from UniJoin. This would also help them being more visible on Medium and help them grow as journalists as well. Myself , already have been following them for quite a while now and I'm gladly reading the articles as I get notification on email as soon as they drop a new one. <3

This is a very good observation, botz! Indeed, it would be very nice if others would follow your example and they would click on Like and Follow buttons after they read these articles. However, I don't know how many will actually do that. In order to be able to Like or Follow you have to authenticate on the website. And I don't know how many people are willing to do that, no matter the reason (be it for their privacy or because they are lazy or any other reason).

Many readers simply read articles without being authenticated and, once they finish, they close the page. However, some express here their appreciation so I believe these articles have some traction.

First of all, congratulations on getting 5.7k followers on Medium, that's a pretty good number of readers in my opinion. I went through the article - Bitcoin: A History of Revolutionary Minds.
It's greatly written and the information is compiled in one, good job. Left a like (clap) on the article.

To be honest, this was my old blog, where I hadn't posted anything for several years. That's why I decided to give it to UniJoin.

And I'm very glad that neither uses it ... moreover, I'm glad that they hired an author who focused on such quality content.

Btw, as far as I know, a series of new articles will be released soon.

Good point. However, at least for Medium, I cannot do that since I don't have account.
On Twitter I did press the follow button at some point in the past, but you're right, like and retweet is.. just at hand, it's shame not to do that (so I did).

Hi all!

Finally, together with one of the forum users, we have almost completed work on the creation of UniJoin custom cards.

The good news is that each of these 20 cards will find its owner through the raffle.

I'm willing to provide the translation of UniJoin ANN post to German language. Shall I call this a reservation for German language?

It could take me a little bit of time as I don't want it to be a dull translation and of course I'm not going to pipe it just through DeepL or so. I know the rulez! Just saying that I'm a bit busy atm and quality posts for the campaign also have some priority for me.

Interesting!

I never participated in such raffles before or even been a regular of the collectibles board, so today I would like to understand how this cases work. So BTC is loaded in the address.
1. How does the winner spend the BTC. Do they receive the physical card and the Private key/seeds?
2. If yes, how certain are they that the private key has not been backed up by someone else before the card getting sent to them?

Thank you for the initiative, I will reserve the translation for you! Of course there is no rush!

I'd say it's more of a collectible item considering it's a limited edition card, but yes you can withdraw bitcoins from this card if you want. On the reverse side of the card there will be a hologram, opening which you will find a private key (holograms are supplied by one of the most trusted users of the forum). Feel free to ask if you have any further questions.
