Are you getting prepared for the ending PoW mining on Ethereum? I'm setting up my wallet for altcoins here as well as hiveOS flight sheets, I'm fully ready to play it by ear when ETH finally says goodbye it's going to be a Wild West for few weeks after ETH is gone.

Things will start very roughly after ETH 2.0 is completed but as time goes by everything will settle down, I think that ETC will start growing faster from this period because all eye is on that project right now as the perfect ETH alternative for miners, this can greatly affect its value.

I'm so excited for PoS! I can't wait to buy up hundreds of cheap video cards that will pay for themselves later. I remember when I bought 3 GTX 1060's for $135 in early 2019, mined $600 of coins on each one, then sold each card for $330 in early 2021. I want to repeat the same move except on a larger scale.

If PoS gets delayed, but by less than 3 months...well.. that sucks, so I will probably invest in ASIC mining. If the delay is 4+ months, I would just buy a few GPUs.

POS will not come in 2023. The earliest is May, most likely it will come in June. If there are issues the latest is perhaps sometime in Q3 2022. However I don’t think it will be 2023.

In a couple months it’s time to think if we should start to sell GPUs while the prices are still decent. Unlike when ASICs were released for BTC or LTC. There was always sometime to mine. Now there is nothing with a high miner reward left to mine.

If you wait too late to sell you can lose out on tons of profit from the GPU resale value.

Exactly my thinking. I even think when the official merge date gets announced, it's a wise idea to sell the rigs 30 days beforehand. That way, the buyer can't trash the video cards then try to return them when they realize they're holding the bag!

Building a new rig now might not be a bad idea, as long as you plan to exit in 2-3 months.

Exactly what I want people to do, the more people are leaves the better for the few crazy ones that stays, I've made almost all my money back and that's the reason why I will never sell my g cards anyway, I'm ready for whatever is coming, also I run full 2400watt solar panels now.
