Agree that Bitcoin is the way forward, but disagree that trading is. Only need to Google statistics on any kind of trading to see that majority of traders lose money. You're in an immediate loss position the moment you open a trade (spreads, commissions, fees) so technically, you need to clear a small profit to break even. In a bull run, it's easy to make profits too but difficult to identify when rallies are over. Recognising that it was fortune/luck instead of pure skill in trading helps ground you also.

Bitcoin's certainly helped me a lot in many ways. Alternative form of payment number one and I can't imagine where I'd be as a freelancer still fiddling with the arbitrariness of PayPal and other methods. Increase in dollar value long term is also great -- had to liquidate something significant over a year ago to give me purchasing power I would never have had saving in fiat.

Good for you since not all would really be ending up on the same faith when it comes to recovery of losses thats why people do still continue on dealing up with trading or even with gambling just to break even or take

In a more serious way, what you describe has nothing to do with the title of the thread. Bitcoin has not saved you because you are trading shitcoins, apart from Bitcoins. What has saved you, for the moment, is having been lucky with the trades you have made.

Maybe it turns out that you are especially talented for that but keep in mind that more than 90% of traders lose money in the long run.

I hope that if you lose all your money tomorrow trading shitcoins, apart from Bitcoin, you won't blame Bitcoin for this.

I am reading the post of @GiftedMan in the same way, I mean I always love to read a success story in the forum, however when the success is based on nothing but good luck then we know this is not going to last, and we know this is the case because since he got some early success trading shitcoins then he is going to keep doing it, which means that sooner or later he will not be as lucky and then he will lose the rest of his capital and will blame everyone else for his losses except the one that was directly responsible for them, which is himself.

Trading is not end with one trade.Nearly 90 percentage of traders will lose their entire investment of their first few traders.Even it may be 1000 or 2000 dollars. So I suggested the new traders to inverse with 50-100$ as they investment to learn trading instead of 1k- 2k dollars.When you feel, you are enough to trade with knowledge. since he is talking only about bitcoin, he can very well observe the market and start small. but great to know that the OP got his profits from his money. he already started small because the amount he mentioned is about 5 bucks if i'm not mistaken. for traders, that's very small. but he manages to make it 3x which he can further use in his trading. as you said, he needs to be careful as one wrong move, his profits will be gone. there's no need for a mentor i believe if you are talking about small money as you have nothing to offer, so i guess, he worked it on his own.

how does op get his money back after trading in bitcoin or altcoin too, as a newcomer here is very lucky because many of the others are not as lucky as the OP, maybe op already has experience in the trading world other than crypto so his mental and analysis is quite strong

I'm glad it worked out, but op, you need to be careful. If investments don't work out for you, maybe don't do them too much. Remember the golden rule: ONLY invest what you can afford to lose. If it's something critical, something you need for survival, don't invest that. Losing money on crypto trading is also a very real thing that can happen to anyone. So you must have another source of income, some sort of job for which you at least get enough to make the ends meet. If you have extra, investing, trading, gambling is probably fine, but all that risk shouldn't put you and your family at serious risk. Good luck!

I can easily be convinced by buying and hold maybe you started with just NGN 2000 as the case maybe, you kept on topping the BTC in your wallet before the price break out. yeah this is a genuine reason.

Why there's no year? If you can only add more details in your post maybe some of us here won't keep on guessing if how you actually did it but since you haven't supplied it yet my guess is you invested in btc using that amount and you let it grows till it's enough to trade on exchanges and trading is where you made most of your profits.

You have lost before you discovered btc but that can be a blessing of disguise because it allows you to find ways on how to recover it but you haven't expected that btc can give you more than just a recovery. Btc is truly amazing. Your story is inspiring and there is a lesson to get here, that is we should not give up easily.

I actually started bitcoin investment after loosing money to ponzi scheme in 2017. I started with Genesis mining, after a while, they couldn't pay again because difficulty level in mining bitcoin has over increased but I made my capital more than 5x because same year, the price of bitcoin went to ATH. You said you started trading with N,2000, may I know the year? This  money can only buy shitcoin and not bitcoin that is about $3.44 as at today.

Actually Binance doesn't need a private key to be traded with is a Centralized exchange were you transfer your coin and token into . OP already Said the fact in the previous statement which is too sad to be true.

It is not easy to acquire 3x of your capital in bitcoin,  I guess your trading took place before this time when bitcoin was up to 60k for you to get such nice profit.
