I have been using Trust Wallet for a long time and it can be said that I have been using it since the beginning of it. But to be honest, I never got into any trouble with it. Rather it seems to me that it is much safer and more convenient to use than other wallets. About 50 percent of my assets are stored through this wallet.

If you dont have much funds on your trust wallet to be precise you can download electrum and coinomi, this two i made mentioned of have equivalent security measures to trust wallet, trust wallet is one of recommendable wallet you can that people trust on the security function, this news of removing trust wallet from play store is my first time to get across of it today, but i believe that your funds is secured provided you have your seed phrase.

Metamask is even worse, I trust trustwallet more than Metamask if I have the option to choose between the two, it's better to wait till trust wallet team fix the problem which I believe they will since the wallet belongs to binance exchange.

Trust wallet is good but not completely secure. Trust wallet can be used for regular use only if your fund is small, I often use trust wallet for small transactions. Because it is not safe to keep large amount of funds in all these wallets even after you have seed. Because if for some reason a virus is downloaded to your phone then the scammer can get access to your trust wallet. So crypto users should keep in mind that hardware wallet should be used to store large amount of funds.

The issue, as many people argue, isn't the absence of seed phrases but that any wallet which isn't open source should not be trusted. They claim Coinomi and Trust wallets aren't safe because they're closed source. Electrum is the only one in there that is taken to be safe. I've had incidents with Roqqu and Freewallets which also have seed phrases but are closed source and they weren't pleasant experiences. So, it boils down to the nature of sources of a wallet rather than if its owner is able to copy out seed phrases or not. I've had pleasant experiences with TW and Coinomi for years despite being labelled risky. Sometimes, one begins to reason that the issue with closed source thing being risky has to be majorly a thing with the developers going rogue after a while.

Wallet security isn't only about keeping your seed phrase safe. The type of wallet you store your bitcoins is equally as important.
I've had pleasant experiences with TW and Coinomi for years despite being labelled risky. Sometimes, one begins to reason that the issue with closed source thing being risky has to be majorly a thing with the developers going rogue after a while.
It takes only a day to destroy a reputation built for years. Events that have occurred in the forum prove that. For you it boils down to trust. It's your personal decision to trust the developers of a closed source wallet even if you realise they have the power to rip you off at anytime without you knowing. I find it difficult to do that. The only "trust" we have in crypto is the blockchain. That's what separates us from those that believe in traditional currency/fiat imo

Yes, I understand what you're saying here. Sometimes, misgivings and misconstruements can cause someone that hard earned reputation. In a related development, I've been at a scene where someone was nearly lynched because a lady screamed "thief" at him in public over a relationship gone sour issue. Dude was nearly killed for that joke.

The only "trust" we have in crypto is the blockchain.
But of course that's true and inarguable. But the issue at hand transcends the blockchain to storing cryptos. We are talking of non–custodial wallets for cryptos here, bearing in mind that there's a difference between Bitcoin wallets and Crypto wallets. What safe crypto wallets do you've in mind?

OP I'm sure you saw it on twitter, Trust wallet is back on Apple app store. OP you can download your trust wallet and sign in your account, the comments on twitter tells some users may have been reckless with their private keys and can't access their account.

Thank you for the update CryptoPanda, but does anyone knows why trustwallet was removed from Apple app store in first place?

edit: I made a quick research and found this: DApp Browser Removal on iOS version of Trust Wallet
It looks like trustwallet had to remove the dapp browser from their iOS version in order to comply with the app sore guidelines!
The Dapp browser is no longer available on newer versions of trustwallet for iOS.
