I have a brand new never used 64Gb USB2.0 thumb drive which is out or packaging. I do not have packaging or warranty papers. I bought it just about a week ago and the very next day my wife came home with at 32GB thumb drive which is plenty for me. I just bought the biggest one I could find at Best Buy, since I only had a 4GB before. I would like to get approximately 20 BTC, or $60 for it, as I payed $99.99+tax. I have not even used the flash drive yet, it has never been used unless the manufacturer plugged it in to test. It is a PNY ATTACHE 64 thumb drive. I apologize I do not have original packaging or warranty information as it hit the garbage as soon as I got home. I am not one to follow any warranty cards or crap like that because it seems easier to get a new one than fight to get what you deserve. I am attaching a couple images One of the images has the 4GB drive which is no longer available, because the image quality is better than the image taken just now. I have a cheap camera and since it is dark the flash distorts the image very badly but I want a fresh image for you all. http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/819/img00221r.jpghttp://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/819/img00211o.jpg

For future notice: You should NEVER buy anything from Best Buy. It's literally cheaper to get stuff shipped to you overnight.

I understand exactly what you are saying. Generally I buy from newegg, but I had a giftcard for BB. Either way I would like to recoup some of the money I spent. I hope I can make something of this!

Thank you for the dumpster diving suggestion!
I don't have the receipt or do you think I would be trying to sell it for this price, $60 vs $100? I just want to recoup something.

Sorry to give you a hard time, I think $60 is a reasonable price and if I needed a drive like that I would get snap it up. What speed is it?

Sorry to give you a hard time, I think $60 is a reasonable price and if I needed a drive like that I would get snap it up. What speed is it? It is USB 2.0 which I think is somewhere around 60MB/S. I have no idea what the flash memory inside is capable of, as I didn't see it on the package (didn't look either) and they don't even have the 64gig listed on PNY's site.

60MB/s theoretical. 31MB/s maximum from my Sata 6gb/s in a USB 2.0 dock. My generic thumb drives get 4-8mb depending on file size.

I was saying USB 2.0 supports up to 60MB/s in its designed specifications. I didn't see any specifications on what the drive supports. I thought I was clear in saying I did not know how fast the actual device will operate at.

I thought I was clear in saying I did not know how fast the actual device will operate at. USB 2.0 supports 480mbps, but that's counting speeds in both directions. In practice, you get half that - 30 MB/s, since you're usually only reading or writing, not doing both at the same time. I have never seen a USB 2.0 device transfer data faster than 32MB/s. Also, for what it's worth, you CAN get a 64GB drive brand new from newegg for $60. But, it's a Lexar, and I'd trust PNY over Lexar any day. Still, you get a warranty by buying new. Just throwing that out there.

I did not know almost every thing in your last post Spike. But as of yet I am holding with my current price of $60. I just want to recoup as much as possible, I hope you understand where I am coming from there. I have always considered PNY to be a reputable company with quality products. I have never purchased anything of PNY brand and have it DOA as it has happened with items on a very small list of not as highly regaurded company (products). If anyone would like my to pop it in and test briefly please say something because as of now it is totally unused!

Completely understandable! I don't blame you for holding at $60 - it's still a fair price. Best of luck with the sale.

Thank you for the good vibes my man (aka Spike), I really do hope to sell but being such a new member I think my chances are slim to none here. I have also listed it on craigslist but at a higher price since I want to support BTC and hopefully make it grow. I did put in my CL that I would be offering a discount with payment in BTC. I have only received questions such as what is bitcoin and what is the discount? We will see what happens.
Again thanks for the good wishes! I'm gonna need them.

Didn't mean to sound harsh, just the one person asked about speeds and you mentioned USB2.0 in the original post.

"The powers of financial capitalism had another far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole. This system was to be controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent meetings and conferences. The apex of the systems was to be the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland, a private bank owned and controlled by the world's central banks which were themselves private corporations. Each central bank...sought to dominate its government by its ability to control Treasury loans, to manipulate foreign exchanges, to influence the level of economic activity in the country, and to influence cooperative politicians by subsequent economic rewards in the business world."

At this exact moment is $3.00= 1BTC so 20BTC = $60. As long as I get $60 worh of BTC at time of sending, you will be the new owner of this thumb drive. I can ship as soon as tomorrow morning if we get everything worked out quickly. I would liked to be payed before shipping, and I am not going to charge extra for the ship. It will be USPS first class with tracking information. Just keep posting here or PM me. I appreciate the support!

Run QwikMark on the drive to find out it's transfer speed. My 16gb drive from Memory Dealers does about 20mbps.

Run QwikMark on the drive to find out it's transfer speed. My 16gb drive from Memory Dealers does about 20mbps. I believe that will only find a subjective speed. My PC has different specs than the next, everyone's PC is different. I did however download the software just in case more people step forward and want it tested. I do not want to plug it in if I do not have to just to keep the drives "new" status. While I don't have the packaging, the drive has never been plugged into anything.
