Altcoin boom doesn't 100% have to be related to bitcoin going down. People keep thinking that when bitcoin stops going up, and starts going down, it is time for altcoins to go up as well. Reality is that when bitcoin goes up, altcoins go up when bitcoin goes down, altcoins go down. That is usually what happens, sure the alt season happens a bit after btc reaches its ATH so that alts could reach their ATH as well.

I would guess that correction is bound to happen whenever bitcoin stops going up. People who wait for it to top for the current period, end up selling when it fails to go up for a few days in a row. That is exactly what happened this time around as well, we ended up dealing with something that is a bit of a problem and I get that, it is really alright if you want to sell at the top because they know that there is a good case it could go down again and we would buy from there.

I don't see anything bad here, bitcoin has dropped from 68k ATH to 40k and there hasn't been any effect from the war. Don't blame the war. Simply because it has gone up so much and it will have to go down, this is how the market has performed over the years. Looking at the cycle of bitcoin, many have predicted that 2022 will be a bearish year and should not expect a breakout this year. In the bearish year a slight bounce in bitcoin is normal and I think we are in a phase of a slight recovery and then further bearish continuation.

The altcoin market has always followed the Bitcoin trend in most cases but that could change on an exceptional basis time it goes in the opposite direction while Bitcoin increases altcoin may be decreasing and in some other case is when the altcoin market alone increase just like what we a seeing presently some altcoins are rising in price will Bitcoin remain at 42,000 level.

If we look back, we thought 2017 was the last bull market that we will see but we are wrong because few years later the bull came back to us. The market is high volatile in recent time though we had few good and positive news .We don't tell its a bearish moments so early its really going through ups and downs .However we were at the point of if altcoins could go bullish or it will survive on next .I think the moving of altcoins and cryptocurrencies mostly depend on bitcoin .We have seen a always good uptrend after btc getting a good trend .So the market is really on a tough situation to predict now at the moment .We need few more time to confirm about a strong trend of the market .Lets see how crypto and altcoins behave with us .

It's definitely not a sure thing, and I do agree that if we see a boom it will be together with bitcoin and not just altcoins. We need to realize that we should be focusing on something that would be a bit better than expected, not something huge but something that would be small time increase in the long run.

Hopefully it will be something that could be done via a good news as well because that would mean that there would be a basis for it. Like for example if Ukraine and Russia somehow put their differences aside and stop the war, then that somehow increase the price, that would be good. The increases that happens out of nowhere rarely makes sense.

When ever there is a rally in Bitcoin, usually the investors would dump the rest of the alts and enter Bitcoin to ride the rally and if the investors see that there is an opportunity in riding the rally, then they will dump all the alts and enter the Bitcoin market, we have seen that in the past and we will see that again. Yes we have institutional investors that invest in all the top coins and hence we are yet to see that difference yet in this rally.
