I've never felt a need to post in this thread before though I will post here for the first time as it felt cool to see my post counter tick over 3,000 recently

20+ pages of people being nice, I haven't poste din here on my own behalf but I have shared my sentiments with a few users over the time span of this thread. It's interesting to see some of the things people celebrate.

Time flies inexorably and we lose sight of the fact that quite a lot of time has passed. 10 years - it's mind-boggling. Congratulations, Lucius, on your "anniversary".  Can we now officially call you one of the "grandpa" of bitcointalk?

This is a bit off topic, but why not add numbers on gold medals under the rank on the forum member's profile indicating the years? Like, on the first medal 5, on the second 10, and so on. Of course, upon reaching this "age" on the forum.

I've not even clicked on the thread before, seemed a bit pointless and to a degree, cringe. Though with everything else going on in the forum, it was refreshing to pop by and see people just celebrating their activity and achievements they're happy about, and others giving them a clap. Wholesome

It is good to see you are one of those who stayed with the forum for this long. You become a Legend, and your BPIP rank becomes #122. There are millions of registered users on this forum, but only a few thousand forum members stay active and contribute to the forum. I hope the forum will still exist after another ten years, and I would be able to celebrate a decade if I still stay alive. Life became harder here due to extortionists, and people are dying here and there. I planned to move somewhere a couple of times, but nothing worked well. Sorry for the off-topic. Congratulations once again! I hope you have a lot more to give to this community.

Thank you, honestly, the forum is as interesting to me as it was when I registered - and I think Bitcoin becomes more interesting with time, the older it gets, the better, like a good wine.

Thank you, it's an honor to be in that club - a lot of old members have left the forum in recent years and that's definitely noticeable, but I hope that as many of us as possible will stay in the years to come. I know it's almost an impossible mission, but I'm doing my best to slow down time, but there's no magic formula yet.

Not a bad idea, but if you haven't noticed, things like that don't really happen on the forum. We know there are some custom badges, but that's the most you can get as some kind of recognition on the forum.

What actually was I doing 10 years ago? That is 2015 - I was schooling and sleeping in library in the name of studying and reading. If I had known bitcoin and joined this forum by then, I would have had some starches of BTC in my possession.

I don't think so. It would be easy to create a list of all accounts, but the large majority is abandoned so that's kinda pointless.

Whenever i search a user's account on bpip.org (especially those with 350 earned merits and above), i use to see that their profiles are being recognized by bpip as one of the accounts with most earned merits. Today i decided to search my own username on bpip.org and saw that i have been recognized as the 1000th most earned merit on bitcointalk. I know that the recognition of the profiles with most earned merits counts from 1 to 1000 but i haven't really come across a profile with 1000th most earned merit though i know that o_e_l_e_o holds the 1st position as the profile with the most earned merit. I know this might not mean anything to most of you but for the fact that am exactly the profile with 1000th most earned merit is what caught my attention.

According to https://bpip.org/ there are less than 50 accounts with Activity over 4000 so that feels kinda good and worth mentioning here.

Today is my 10 years anniversary on Bitcointalk. I actually didn't paid attention to date of my registration, but I noticed that today I made my 13000th post here and then after opening my profile I noticed this special date. Nice coincidence to reach such round number of posts on 10th anniversary

When I signed up here, I had no idea that I will spend here 10 years, will make such huge number of posts and that Bitcointalk will become significant part of my life. Timer above shows that I've been logged in for more than 183 days - so, I spent/wasted here more than half year of my life.
I hope that much more years here is still ahead
