Mainly, basketball because that's my favorite sport and have knowledge about some basketball leagues around the globe which is a big help when choosing what bet should I take or risk.

I'm a fan of the sports of basketball and boxing so that's where I usually put my bets especially on the NBA and on our national league the PBA.

It's suicide I think if you bet on a particular sport where you don't know anything about it. Though we usually or the percentage of winning is low for gamblers but if we knew the sport, it just adds some percentage or shall we say the probability of winning increases.

Easy to analyze who to bet in boxing and there are many people speculating which being a gambler could be easy to spot who'll likely to win a match. As someone who grew up watching people playing video games and being surrounded by friends who also play, my gambling bets are heavily influenced on eSports. I can comfortably say that I have a relatively vast knowledge on some of the online games being betted on in some gambling websites, especially in Dota 2 and CSGO.

There is nothing wrong or new about blind betting. If a person is used to working with numbers, then he really does not care what is behind them.
I make almost 90% of my bets on football because I am interested in this sport and understand when (in my opinion) the odds are profitable. Actually I am focused on tennis for my 90% of bets (the remains are for football or basketball).

If a gambler bets on the game that he did not know, chances are he is only testing his luck and if he is lucky he can still score a win. Second reason that I can think of is there are promotion on that specific game, that is why they bet on it only to take advantage of the on going promotion. What would you know to play when you have no idea about a sport, why gamble on a game you know nothing about, very illogical, similar to investing heavily in a coin you in know nothing about. Soccer is the most dominant sport in my locale, i possess a certain amount of knowledge about the game contributed mainly by environmental factors and even physically played soccer at some point, it is what i mostly place my bets on.

my favorite sport that I often bet on is football, I don't really understand other sports because I don't like it. betting on sports that I really like, the chances of winning are very big than betting on sports that I don't like at all. currently, there are many international football events being held, what a great opportunity to make money.

I gamble on sports focus only football, but even then rarely. Actually, almost all sports I have bet on, it's just that it's an old story that I probably won't touch again. Because I used to be a gambler who would try anything, even though I didn't understand.

I like placing bets on football at the moment, there is quite a lot of potential to grind out a profit if you do a little research before hand. It's possible to find teams that are on a winning streak, which might not be properly factored into the odds on offer. I personally don't think that it makes a whole lot of sense to bet on sports that you aren't even interested in/know the rules of.

That way, you have no chance of having an edge over the rest of the market. And you can't even have fun because half the time you don't have a clue of what's happening. Trust me, I've tried the same before.

There are two factors to consider why a gambler gambles and/or place bets in sports.

1. Expertise (or a sport they often play) - They are passionate about that sport and loves to just gamble teams in a field of sport they knew more about - those that already knows a certain sport often tend to have more winrate as they have both motivation and knowledge on each and every aspect of the game and its players, even the momentum and current news with the team's actions. Most of gamblers that lies in this factors are those that bets only on a certain game or even a certain game in eSports (as eSports doesn't really need to be knowledgeable with the all the players and teams worldwide, just events and tournaments would suffice and be a reference to a better gambling decision)

2. Money - these are those people whom you know that bets regardless of what sports either knowingly or unknowingly. They often relies on bets and just the current news, or even their gut feeling, for their bets - as they only preferred enjoying how their gambling

That's good because at least you can feel confident about the decision you are about to make. I think this is something that a gambler who wants to place bets on sports betting needs to have because, in his analysis, he will get so much information about each team. That information can sway his analysis and follow the advice of others even though the information he already has can provide an opportunity to choose a team that has the potential to win. But it's natural to feel shaky with the analysis we have because we can feel that our skills in analyzing are not as good as others. Most probably because of the beginner's luck, most newbies thought winning in sports betting were easy but actually not when you start lossing lol.

there are 2 types of gambler , the one who bets for enjoyment and of course to win while there are others that only bets to win and care nothing about which game he will be betting and which team he will be choosing .
this is how i can describe gamblers according to my own experience .

Nowadays i mostly bets in Sports in Footbal(american football actually) and sometimes in Boxing specially when big boxers tried to defend their title/belt.

It would really remove out the essence of entertainment if you do just simply put up bets on sports that you arent aware thats why it would be more sensible if you do really make bets

I prefer football because I know well this kind of sport since I was a kid. I also follow any updates about football almost every day, I am a fan of football. For me, knowing well about the sport is very necessary because it sometimes increases the chance to bet more accurately. I know theory cannot work in each match, but I feel the knowledge is quite helpful. So, I am not a part of the gamblers who don't care about the sports they bet on.
