Lt Gen Yakov Rezantsev, the Russian General that claimed that Ukraine will fall in five days is dead. He is the seventh Russian general that has died in Ukraine and the second Lt. General. There are claims that due to the low morale of Russian soldiers, these generals had to unconventionally be at the front line. It was reported that a Russian colonel had been deliberately run over and killed by his own men, as a result of the large scale of lose of lives and weapons incurred by his brigade.

Moscow claimed that they had lost less than a thousand servicemen but a well known Russian newspaper named Komsomolskaya Pravda (KP) published that Kremlin's defence ministry announced that  9,861 Russian soldiers had died in Ukraine

The war in Russia is even more fierce. Colonel General Sergei Beseda the powerful leader of the Federal Security Service has been placed under house arrest after he allegedly assured Putin that the war in Ukraine would be a quick victory. There was also a report that Russia's defence minister Sergei  Shoigu suffered a heart attack after a tough accusation by Putin blaming him for the abysmal failure of the invasion of Ukraine. To dispute this claim he briefly appeared in a video released by Kremlin, pretending to be well. There are also claims that Putin has been isolating himself in a bunker and only meeting face-to-face with his closest confidants.

The recent announcement that the capturing of Kyiv is no longer Russia's main objective after weeks of failed attempt to take the capital is a proof that Moscow's pre-war strategy has failed because they underestimated the Ukrainian military might.

it is not an underestimation, it is simply the realising of the fact that the ukranians are unwilling to put their own government over its donbass crimes to justice and believe it instead of the foreigners,

its basically the same situation like with the germans and hitler, bombardments didn't helped they kept hanging on hitler. that discriminates according to ethnicity/nationality

same problem is now with zelinski who thinks all ukranians want to live under a jewish comedian government

On the topic, the rate of dead generals is not excessive... if you compare it with the full massive scale war situation during the Second World war.

jokes apart, the rate of dead generals is around 1 every 5 days, extremely high for most armies, but not for Putins army, which has more than 2000 generals. The reason they are killed at this rate is the poor coordination in the army - they are even using unencrypted comms - that makes it necessary to have generals in the frontline.

I think the Russians assumed there would be no resistance, and nobody would dare to shoot at them, because you know "We are the Russians
and we have the 2nd best army in the world, so nobody would dare to fuck with us."

And Ukrainians said: "Sure, let's go Brandon."

I think this "special operation" will be included in military textbooks to teach officers how not to conduct military operations.

This thing is far from over, so stay tuned, Putin might come up with more ways to fuck up his country.

Without the use of Nuclear weapons, war make take several months or years before they end it up but invasions such as this one are expected by Ukraine and they might look unprepared but in reality, they have all the necessary means to slow the invasion but the consequences of it are the huge numbers of the dead civilians all over the place. This is what I hate about wars because the civilians are the victims and the people who triggered it are nowhere to be found in ground zero.

How true is the news of Chelsea football club owner directly involved with talks about peace with Russia.
How true is this, I'm a bit far lost in the latest happenings in the world.
Could this be the end to the invasion cause it's more than a month already.

It is war, and to say casualties on both sides is not expected even to high ranking officers is us telling ourselves lies. I bet this report is probably what the media wants us to read, more have probably lost their lives, and not just Russian generals, Ukrainians as well. In the coming days, the number is expected to go up and will continue in that manner, casualties on both sides until the crisis ends. The crisis needs to end before Ukraine becomes a waste land and there becomes no infrastructure for refugees to return to.

...

It is not true. What it is true is that some have asked for Abramovich to be excluded from sanctions and be a mediator before Putin. He is an oligarch and my take is that he is mostly about business, and this war is really bad for business. There is no winner, not even if Putin could achieve a massive defeat of Ukraine, still even he would be worse off than at the beginning.

Not just generals disappearing, Russia's defense minister was missing for a couple of weeks. Recently resurfaced on TV but not in a particularly convincing way (could have been an older recording). You'd think it'd be easy to just have him say "I'm alive and well, very busy, rumors are nonsense" with some contemporary reference just to make sure. Instead Lavrov is denying that Shoigu is dead or ill LOL.

Top notch military command structure right there.

Moscow claimed that they had lost less than a thousand servicemen but a well known Russian newspaper named Komsomolskaya Pravda (KP) published that Kremlin's defence ministry announced that  9,861 Russian soldiers had died in Ukraine
According to the official Russian data as of March 25, 1351 Russian soldiers were killed in Ukraine and 3825 were injured.

As for newspaper "Komsomolskaya Pravda", that it allegedly posted a "truthful report" which was deleted, but it was saved in the webarchive. This information is indeed in the webarchive, but several important points cannot be ignored.
1. If you go to the very first saved page of this article in the webarchive, then there is no data on losses among Russian soldiers. Therefore, extraneous information was added there later.
2. The newspaper's editorial office reported on the hacking of the site. It sounds quite plausible, since such information about Russian losses was not announced anywhere in other official Russian media.
3. Komsomolskaya Pravda in its article referred to the page of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation and the briefing of the official representative Igor Konashenkov. But there is no data on losses among Russian soldiers on that vk page and in the briefing itself.

How true is the news of Chelsea football club owner directly involved with talks about peace with Russia.
If the oligarch Roman Abramovich is meant (because he was going to sell the Chelsea club), then Putin's press secretary said the following about Abramovich: "He did take part at the initial stage. Now the negotiations are between the two teams, the Russians and Ukrainians".

Russia's defense minister was missing for a couple of weeks. Recently resurfaced on TV but not in a particularly convincing way (could have been an older recording).
This is hardly an old recording, because Sergei Shoigu in his video speech, in the second minute, spoke about the amendments to the law on veterans. This bill was submitted to the State Duma on March 22, was accepted on March 23 and this law was officially published on March 26.
