So let's say I have a NFT collection and I want to put it up for sale at opensea.

Since nobody will know me or my art, do I just set each NFT up for auction at a low price (or the lowest price as possible)? And set the author fees at a max so you'll hopefully make something in the future when your NFT's are traded? (once you start promoting your collections at twitter, discord, etc)

If you set the lowest possible price for your NFTs, then where does the art lie? Promotion is an appropriate method of introduction instead of underestimating the quality of your own work.

Opensea will obviously have its own trend algorithm. Without any marketing efforts, your NFT will always be at the bottom of their trending page results. Some NFT artists also benefit after their work is picked up by an influencer, I also heard that in the past opensea was suspected of having "insider trading". So, then it depends on your conclusion to use this platform.

Will there be buyers for your NFTs, even at a low price? In a marketplace like opensea, there are a lot of NFT tokens that nobody wants. Without proper publicity, they have no value. Since the hype for these NFTs has died down, I highly doubt you will be able to make any profit from these tokens. The minimum price won't increase the demand for your works in any way.

You can’t just expect that investors will buy your NFT for any given lowest value. The whole process is bid based that means you will have to set either lowest value to start with and also you will need to set the incriminating divisions.  Moreover you will also need to consider the commission of opensea and I think you will have to pay some 150 bucks in advance to start listing. To get your art noticed people will have to favourite it first, the watching list should grow a lot then it will be in recognition and also you will start to see some bidding if they are interested. I suggest setting the price lowest but not into the part which you lose, and it should be at the level where you can still make a profit.

Social media can be another way to sell your NFT but the problem is to find legit buyers. Unless you are holding potential NFTs, it wasn't hard for it to trade, well, of course, just it takes time and you need to be patient.

To conclude these things, first we just have to look at the collection. This collection is from a company, and the company has its own vision. Also, this NFTS has lots of use-cases. And the second one, this is just art, and it's a personal art collection or might be some personal stuff. For the first reason, you already know that you are a company and you have a clear vision and mission with this collection of nfts for projects. Then, obviously, you have to market first, and if you spend your money on marketing, then the chances of success are huge. And remember, marketing should be broad and it should be a continuous process.
 
For  personal collection:  : Well, in this case, getting success is tough because only those people who have a face value can easily get an audience, and people are investing in nfts because they think this collection is from a celeb, so maybe in the future it will give me profit also. I already mentioned in the first paragraph that it is for investment purposes only, so that they can also get a return from it. But sometimes people become famous because of their collections. People don't know him, but because of his unique collection, people are buying his or her collection. If his collection becomes popular, then more investors come to invest in it too. Though already lots of people suggest you market, I'll also give you the same suggestion if you think your launch is unique and it might be able to attract investors to your project. Then yeah, marketing should be worthwhile too.

Probably but remember to increase the popularity of your NFT. Sometime putting your NFT at the lower price than another NFT might not help a lot. Remember that NFT is not the same like token which was liquid but NFT art was not even liquid.

Im sure that will not even work. You must also aware if NFT depends on your luck you are. I will put all at low price.

Actually, if you have a certain kind of community or more funds, you can then promote your NFT to more people so that at least, they know your NFT collection.
Or, actually, there are also some groups of NFT projects, and you may promote them there.
Setting the price as low as possible may be  a good beginning, but at least, make it realistic and also appropriate to your NFT.
And actually, this will also be about the luck that you have.
Sometimes, we think that our NFT may be difficult to atract peope to buy, but luckily, your NFT may be viral and sold out.

That's why you need to focus on how you're going to market it first and let the people know that your NFTs are existing. In that strategy, you can dictate what would be the lowest price when you've seen people start talking about your NFT and taking interest on it.
