I have different opinion on an altcoin. Although I don't invest in Altcoin I do my research on it and from what I have done so far the risk is higher than the gains, so before you put your money on any altcoin be sure you are doing the right thing.

Which is why we need to look at the potential ROI of altcoins and most of the time it is negative, it is true that if you invest enough money in the right altcoin you could earn 100 times your capital or even more, but you could invest 1% of your capital in 100 different altcoins and still lose it all or the majority of your money, so investing in those new altcoins is for the most part not a good decision, which explains why we see so many new investors that lose everything to those new coins and then they come to the forum and complain about it.

And what did you mean by that statement? I don't quite understand. Your point is that some will profit and some will lose? That's clear to everyone. Altcoins are both a way to make a quick profit and a way to lose it all. Especially during the rush, when altcoins can be subjected to a pump-and-dump scheme. This is how the market works, whoever is smarter is richer. Short-term investors are much more at risk because of increasing volatility.

I underline, that don't be confident about the current green market, many altcoins have risen up to one hundred percent, without price correction, plus the price of btc which will face a psychological resistance level of $50K. There will be a lot of drama here, if not broken BTC will drop, and what will happen to Altcoins? obviously Alt will drop worse than BTC, therefore, just hit and run on altcoin for the current state.

And we know that the market is not predictable; it is hopeable. We just live in hope with the market. Though we are hoping that there might be a bull season coming very soon, but not a hard bull season, we are hoping that we might see a bull that will put our portfolio back on track and we can stay out of a huge loss. Despite what I've seen with Zilliqa in the last few days, This gives a huge, 100% pump after a long time. I am holding mostly small cap altcoins and therefore my portfolio value took a huge blow in the last few months and it is now down more than 90% in comparison to it's ATH of back in may 2021, which makes it pretty hard for me to look at my portfolio at the moment. The crypto market in the last few days looked pretty strong with some solid gains for Bitcoin and also for the bigger altcoins like Ethereum, Solana and so on. Today Waves is performing very well with a price increase of more than 30% in 24 hours. Usually it takes a few weeks of a rising or at least a stable market regarding the big projects before the smaller cap projects begin to rise too.

Either way both of those would depend on Bitcoin anyway. There are many shitcoins out there so I am not sure what you mean by that alts are safer than meme coins, since both of them are volatile in the end. Only other thing I can say for meme coins is that it is hyped so bad by many influencers out there.
I never saw nor heard an influencer pumped a random altcoin still.
Who knows though I don't care about these type of coins anyway.

There was a guy back in the day who did that exact thing on ICO projects as well. He invested 1% of his portfolio into a new ICO every day, and he kept a spreadsheet of what he has done so far, which resulted with him showing that he actually made a profit from it. You know what was the main reason for it? Even though you could lose your 100 bucks when you invest, even if it is all of it, there is a good chance that you could earn more than double that amount with something else.

The max you can lose on a bet of 100 bucks is 100 bucks, you can't lose 101 bucks when all you invested was 100, but you could earn 100 more, or 200 more, or 10k more, there is no upside limit to it.
