I have a TX the network doesnt know about
The wallet says I could broadcast it or simply remove it.
I tried broadcasting it several times, nada
No help

my question is, IF I remove it, will it return to the sending address, or will it just vanish?

Im at my wit's end on this. would rather not see it vanish

Please if anybody knows the answer, reply.

thanks in advance.

That depends on the reason why it's invalid in the first place.

Usually, if it's just a dropped or forgotten to broadcast transaction, then its input(s) will be useable again when removed.
Otherwise, there wont be any coins to "unlock" from that local transaction, for example, if the inputs are already spent by another transaction.

What's the error that you're getting when trying to broadcast it?

You first need to figure out why you can't broadcast it in the first place. As nc50lc asks, what error are you getting?

It might simply be a case of your Electrum client not being able to connect to the network. You can try solving this by choosing a different server or making sure Electrum isn't being blocked by a firewall or VPN, or you can get around it by copying the transaction hex and pasting it in to a broadcasting service such as https://www.coinb.in/#broadcast.

If, on the other hand, your transaction is invalid, then you will never be able to broadcast it.

it says missing inputs
This means that the coins you were trying to spend have been spent in another transaction and exist only in your wallet.
Remove any local transaction you see in history tab. After that, you will be able to spend the fund, if there's any coin owned by you.

I guess removing it will return the funds back to my sending wallet,
It was me sending from one to the other,  I think the wifi may have screwed up

Yes. The inputs have already been spent and cannot be spent again.

The transaction hash you have shared does not exist on the blockchain or in the mempool.

Every single one of these inputs was spent over a week ago.

I guess removing it will return the funds back to my sending wallet
It will not return funds anywhere because they have already been spent. The UTXOs you are trying to spend no longer exist.

That's possible, if the wallet was opened while offline, then it wont be updated with the latest transactions.
So, when you created that transaction, your wallet thought that all those inputs are still unspent but in the blockchain, those are already spent.

Now, it will fail to broadcast whether it's online or offline and failing to broadcast a txn wont automatically save it as a "local transaction".
It must be saved in the 'history' tab because you clicked "save".

Regardless of the reason, you should just remove it and don't expect your coins to return because you already spent those in these transactions:

Should be among your latest transactions in the 'history' tab.
