Hi everybody,
i've been earning eth in a Metamask wallet for a few months, using a mining rig and i'm planning to keep the crypto in the wallet, but sometime i want to spend quickly some amount, without the burden of the eth gas fees and the exchange fees associated with the crypto to euro exchange.
Can you give me some advice on which prepaid card to choose?
Which is the most suitable prepaid card that supports and can be bound to an eth crypto wallet to use as a source for the expenses i could do?
Or maybe there is another method that is better for my scenario?
Thanks in advance!

First thing I can tell about crypto cards is that they do come at least with the transaction fees, unless you start mining directly to the associated deposit address which is usually unadvised.
Then exchange fees and maintenance fees also may exist, sometimes hidden in a worse exchange rate.
And most of the crypto cards come with the need to fill KYC details.
Keep also in mind that not all crypto cards work perfectly no matter what - in some cases they're just not accepted for unclear reasons, so you'll have to have with you another (backup) card when shopping.

Now, I cannot clearly advise a card since it heavily depends on where are you from. Also some of those cards works with only certain coins (usually Bitcoin), although most I've seen also works with ETH.
If you are from an accepted country, Binance card may have some of the lowest fees.

So are you looking for exchange site that was supporting EURO? kraken? Kraken has no pre paid card service

Can you give me some advice on which prepaid card to choose?
Binance and cryptodotcom.

Which is the most suitable prepaid card that supports and can be bound to an eth crypto wallet to use as a source for the expenses i could do?

Is not it better if you keep it on the exchange site? Keeping it in your wallet is not bad enough but i do know that the fees may become the main concern in this case.

Thank you for your advices!
I already have a Binance account, with some crypto in that custodial wallet, so i deepen the Binance card service.
I'm from Italy, however.

If you are in need of fiat/cash and you are doing a couple more transactions than usual you might want to sell an amount of ETH for other crypto or stable coins with a low fee chain.
You can try txstreet.com for real time information from different chains.

Yeah, i know most people, here in Italy, first exchange eth in usdt and then they convert to euro.
Do you think this is the most beneficial way for my case?
So i can safely abandon the idea of taking a crypto card, that in this case should be useless or maybe more expensive?
Thanks.

No matter from where you are transacting the gas fee can't be avoided, if you want to avoid the fee from your wallet then you simply can move the eth to your exchange wallet itself but that's not a great idea since your identity will be exposed. And crypto debit cards availability depends on where you're from and its not a big different from exchanging the eth to fiat then load it to your debit card with cryptocurrency debit cards.

Yeah, you can't avoid fees. I've used Ethereum and ERC20 a lot and I can tell you in the long run, you save more using MetaMask on your own, if you don't need urgent txs then just send a lower than recommended fee, it eventually clears (and you can always speed up now if you suddenly need it urgent).

Exchange fees and worse card fees, end up being much more.

Another option, if you want, send your ETH to BSC, use wrapped Ethereum to trade on BSC or on Binance and withdraw that. Cheaper, but you of course have to trust BSC security.

Tkanks!
But at this point, why not to mine straight to the Binance custodial wallet, so i have all the mined eth ready for any kind of uses and avoiding the eth gas fees of the wallets transfer?
Which are the inconveniences of actually mining straight into the Binance wallet, after all?
I already claimed the Binance crypto debit card and this way i also have all my mined crypto ready to be spent, without any transfer and gas fee involved.
