Will Yobit allow Clam Transactions?

Is fun that you can buy and sell Clam coins on Yobit... And I say it's fun because you can't depo or withdraw clams since some years ago.

The clam network keeps running, anyone can install a node and get clams from freebitcoins exchange, but do you guys think Yobit will allow again users to depo and withdraw clams in the future?

The question is, why did they stop the deposit and withdrawal functions? Every situation has a reason behind it. If the termination of the deposit and withdrawal functions is not based on obvious reasons, I'm not sure in the future that function will be reactivated by Yobit.

This coin also seems like a useless coin, ranking at 8000+ according to CMC and only Yobit has listed them for trading.

This crypto isn't a useless coin, you can gamble with it on just-dice, or you can do stacking with it. The only problem is the hard drop the price had in the market. from 0.013btc to 0.000002btc.

If the Clam team can give Yobit more, they will definitely reopen withdrawals and deposits.
Yobut is a notoriously manipulative exchange and it's no secret that they list and maintain cryptos that are clearly problematic.

Still, these coins that are stuck on Yobit at this time are no longer useful as long as Yobit does not have an internal service to take advantage of its utility.

A quick search on the forum about Yobit exchange shows it was the number one worse exchange site we have in the crypto ecosystem and the most worse part is that they are good in shady business and scam activities.
The Clam coin found on their listed coin may be one of their way of scamming naive crypto investors.

If it cant be traded on any exchangers then there's no point on Yobit on reopening withdrawals and deposits which would be most likely the case.For those who had balance in the exchange then there would be no option
for you to take it out unless if Yobit permits to do so and also considering that Yobit support doesnt answer then you would really be having that question in mind would be staying up forever. 
So if i were you its better not to stress out yourself on how to pull off those CLAMS yet price isnt really that much interesting.

I think it's best to look for a time that a moderator or staff is also active on the chat and him directly about this question. There's no one from the forum that can answer that exchange question.

But only those staff that has an idea until when they're going to start opening the deposits and withdrawals for this coin.

I don't know about the coin you're talking but considering the same kind of instance with random altcoins most exchanges never reopened it so most probably that will happen here also. And even if they allow is there anyone who is going to buy those coins because literally they can get it for free then why someone has to pay for it.

it's been happening for a long time, I'm sure Yobit will not open forever, this usually happens there are many coins whose wallets are undermaintained without ever returning to work properly.
Clam coin network still running but Yobit has disable for long time that's weird, it's understandable if the closure is due to the wallet not working from the coin developer side but this.
Maybe the reason is the trading volume on this coin is almost 0 meaning that it does not profitable for Yobit by continuing to run the wallet will make them spent cost, they should be delisted instead of closing deposits and withdrawals.

This coin was very famous in the past, because all doge and btc addresses that have received transactions within a certain period get this coin in quite a large amount

Is been awhile actually made used of account over there due to lack of experience I had then in the industry with exchange and I never knew how to trade, so I sent some coin over there years back so I traded with other pairs but not too familiar with it. So I lost interest about the exchange.

Please I want to get something cleared about the exchange; does it mean from the above links we could be able to claim some free tokens/coin and if that is possible do we call it airdrop since is claimable from the exchange?

The reasons for blocking deposits and witdrawals (as I know) were not given by Yobit.
As for why they are not resuming it, in my opinion the reason could be quite simple.. they probably just forgot about it.
I think if a few people wrote to them about it, they could take some steps to get it back on track.

Well, that's a smart move from them because if the coin gets back to life, then they already have the implementation and it would be easy for them to reactivate the markets.

Yobit is known to have that kind of behavior where they do have that wallet maintenances which do really takes forever which would result into those locked up funds since you cant do anything.

transactions in between places where you couldnt able to sell out those coins or pulling it out either.One thing is odd is that they are still not delisting on coins which does have some issues

Sounds like it was connected to the problem you are talking about.
This user made a complaint in the Clamcoin Subreddit 3 years ago but never got a response. But in the post, this is what Yobit support responded to him.

" Good day. Deposit\Withdrawal coin will be available after you upgrade the source code of the wallet. Unfortunately the developers are in no hurry to send you updates - therefore, in order to avoid the loss of users, the network is not available. If you have updated the source code of the coin, send us (https://yobit.net/en/maintenance_request/ Free)and we will promptly correct the problem on the coin. Thank you for contacted the support. "

Coin that is worthless at the moment, quite interesting to see that this scam exchange is still up, yobit, idax and lots other scam exchange are one of the reasons why some people do have negative thinking about joining crypto, day light robbery from those exchanges, glad I didn't leave huge funds there when I was using their exchange
