He is too old to be president, on the day of the US presidential election I watched very closely and was quite surprised when Biden won. After the vote was recounted, I still hoped that Trump could turn the tide, but in the end it didn't happen and now the United States is suffering from inflation not seen in 40 years. If Biden continues to be president in 2024, I think the US will soon be surpassed by China in all aspects.

One-in-four Americans say they may need to take up arms against increasingly tyrannical Biden regime

A growing number of Americans are becoming so frustrated with the overt politicization of our institutions and weaponization of government in the age of Joe Biden that they say that it may become necessary to engage in armed rebellion.

According to a new poll from the University of Chicago’s Institute of Politics, more than one in four Americans have so much disdain for the government that they believe it may be necessary “at some point soon for citizens to take up arms against the government,” the Washington Times reported, citing the results.

The poll came out just ahead of Independence Day, and it follows a Fox News survey that found a historically low number of Americans feel “patriotic” under the current far-left regime which has engaged in punishing political warfare against conservative, Donald Trump-supporting citizens.

The University of Chicago survey found that 28 percent thought armed rebellion may become necessary; 33 percent — one-in-three Republicans — thought so.

The Times adds:

A majority of Americans also said the government is “corrupt and rigged against everyday people like me,” including two-thirds of Republicans and independents, and about half of Democrats.
 
The survey also comes amid televised congressional hearings by the House committee investigating last year’s attack on the U.S. Capitol.

The University of Chicago said the poll “reveals not only the growing divides we have witnessed in recent years but strong sentiments that the majority of media outlets contribute to these divisions by intentionally misleading their audiences to promote a political point of view.”

It all seems like a lie wherever you look in the political world. And that is probably because the terms we use for everyday speech fall short of the lofty ideals of national government by consent.

Personally I am of the opinion that real functional border-crossing democracy has only actually become possible with the advent of current technologies, which is why it is suddenly such a hot issue. People realise that computer technology can automatically translate, faithfully record & transparently represent the will of the people in a practical realisable way.

But we inherit a culture & social system, 'the international rules based order' & all that business, that is from a time prior to these recent developments. The whole thing is going to take decades maybe centuries to iron out & straighten up, but the new possibilities are promising & exciting. Bitcoin is a case in point. The democratisation of money & the knee-jerk resistance to this somewhat bewildering hyper augmentation.

While the title of this thread may be a bit out of line, it seems that every day something new happens where Joe Biden shows he is not capable of performing his duties as President of the United States.  Foreign leaders are having to walk him around to his spots and his handlers are constantly telling him where he is and what he's doing there.  It's not right for so many reasons.  I hope that his family talks him out of running in the next election.  I don't even want to see this man in a debate again.  It's worse than a trainwreck.  I hope he gets the help he needs and is able to enjoy retirement at some point while he still remembers his name.

The labor force participation rate really hasn't fluctuated that much in the past 60+ years. 

All time high was 67.3% in 2000, then it slowly dropped to around 62%-63.5% over the next 20 years, sudden drop to 60% during March 2020, and since then it's climbed back up to 62.3%

So it's less than 1% lower than the average over the past 5 years, and 5% lower than the all time high 20 years ago.

And the main reason for the decline is the large boomer population hitting 65.  Labor participation rate is actually up if you don't include 65+ age group.

Several times already, firebrand Republicans have introduced articles of impeachment against Joe Biden in the U.S. House.

There's been literally zero chance that they would advance, given the lockstep control Democrat Speaker Nancy Pelosi exercises over her party.

But widely expected by analysts is that the GOP will retake that majority in the 2022 midterms.

And the Daily Mail is documenting that GOP members already "are signaling that they'll make impeaching President Joe Biden a priority if their party wins control of the House."

That nazi-style speech by Biden is one of the craziest things I’ve seen. I don’t know what is going on in the White House but I don’t feel like these people are being honest about their agenda. They seem like they’re trying to start a civil war or something. The images alone from the night are shocking to see. There must be a reason they wanted to appear so sinister.

The feeling I got from the speech is that there was a lot of advertising for Trump. Make America Great Again - MAGA. But throughout the speech Biden just couldn't get out of the idea of saying "magna."

But, Biden did do a pretty good job. I wonder how much hypnotizing his wife had to do to get him to make a speech like that from memory. More than likely it was a whole team of psychiatrists and psychologists that were behind it, with his wife as the focal point to keep him grounded in his touch of reality during the talk.

Really, though. Sometimes I think that Biden's whole messed-up thinking is all a put-on, and that he is doing it just to protect himself from some kinds of backlash that he should be getting for all the crazy things he is doing in the White House.
