It is also very impressive that only at 23 years old, the young Haney has managed the mental pressure like an old veteran of boxing.

In any case, what would be next for Haney if the rematch does not happen? Who would be more challenging for him? Lomachenko, Tank Davis or King Ryan?

As far as the other Haney fights that I watched, this is the same Haney. This is not a different Haney, somebody who had made necessary adjustments against Kambosos. Haney always makes use of his long reach by his excellent jabs. He always effectively maintains the distance. That's why I thought Kambosos would really have to get inside and release his most powerful punches there. If not, he'd be like a sitting duck. But the fight is done and Kambosos is probably asking for a rematch.

And that is what Haney is saying even before the fight, at their first press conference that he will take away Kambosos best weapon. So we clearly se what he was saying, George is aggressive so he will make him off-balance if he goes inside by that stiff jab of his and not let him get inside. Very effective strategy up to the last round as Kambosos can't do anything about those jabs as he can't hit Haney clean with his power punches not like in the Lopez fight.

Pretty much disappointed on the performance of Kambosos here. He was really schooled by Haney's super jab and defense as he was not hit clean in this fight. You can see his face still clean after 12 rounds while George face is somewhat battered by that stiff jab the Haney throws all throughout the fight. I guess Kambosos 15 minute of fame is over now. The belt is going back to the US and for sure American fighters are now going to chase Haney.

Yeah, we were expecting that Kambosos with his aggressiveness will give Haney trouble, but it didn't happen, it was a one-sided fight and I think there's no need for a rematch on this fight as it's very obvious that we will still see the same winner in the rematch.

But who knows maybe it's better for George not to fight in front of his fans and should go to US just like what he did when he upset Teofimo Lopez.

Yes, would love to se that fight, Haney vs Loma and Lopez. Just a question on who is going to get a crack first. Either one of them will be surely bring more PPV and live gates as they are bankable as well. Just up to Top Rank as what they think the best options, money wise. Davis can Ryan can also fight, another great match for us. And so this 135 lbs is pretty much stack up right now and this can carry over if this 4 to 5 fighters decided to move to 140 lbs in the next years.

Even the fans and the people who watched the fight surely knows that the promoter and boxers have failed to give a much more entertaining fight but what they saw is the exact opposite of what they expect and also their home boy was defeated in front of their eyes by a foreign challenger, Devin Haney.

If that's really the case then Devin Haney should reciprocate the opportunity that was given him by Kambosos but I think this time the fight would be held in Las Vegas or somewhere neutral on the both sides and not in Australia because he is now the pursuer of the title that Haney had. There's still a long way of talks about this rematch and I doubt it would happen next year if in-case it would happen.

So that's a clear 1 mil viewership, not sure how it will translate but this is big for these 2 fighters. So many has anticipated this fight, however, if the rematch is held, I don't think that they will get the same numbers. Because it might be another dominant display of Haney's techniques and bring George to a clinic with his jabs.

Exactly! There's no need to rush because there won't be some difference if Kambosos decides to fight Haney after getting some rests after all that rigorous trainings he had, if he will rush then I bet Haney will win again comfortably and that will give him into a negative position. I know what's he thinks because it's takes a lot time to process that first he got but he needs to move on and start fighting someone else to gain new experience before deciding whether it's time for a rematch or not.

I'm thinking that Lopez will come first on the list because Lomachenko is still unavailbe due to the Russian-Ukraine conflict as he's also defending his country, Ukraine. As you said, either one of them will surely bring viewers and yes Gervonta-Garcia is also good but the latter still have a pending fight and if he will win this time with impressive result then I think he is ready to face the Tank.

^^ Because Kambosos was the mandatory of the IBF belt that Lopez hold that time. So he is obliged to fight him. Kambosos beat Lee Shelby to become the mandatory challenger for Lopez then. But we all know what happens next as Kambosos won in a split decision.

Now, he has to defend it against Haney this coming Sunday. Well there's nothing wrong in betting the champion here as the underdog, maybe he can pull it off again.

Kambosos is undoubtedly the one who was the favorite to win this fight and it was shown, at least for me he was, but Haney who was looking for everything, the victory was good for him, for me he lacked a lot to give, I don't know if the player's state of mind influenced being able to have some kind of repercussion, but Kambosos' style is unique, despite the efforts of HANEY it did not look as wanted, particularly I think there is still a lot left for him, he must improve some technical aspects, not only is strength what should prevail in boxing, but intelligence is undoubtedly one of the main characteristics to win.

So Kambosos demand to Haney for a rematch that will settled in the next November, but many of boxing fans didn't want this to happen due to poor Kambosos's performance [1] There's a speculation around that Tank will face Garcia in the end of year, I guess Haney would fight a weaker boxer since the best boxers in Lightweight division have a schedule or political issues, probably Richard Commey or Isaac Cruz could happen.
