For one of the best gift you can give to younger generation is to teach them Blockchain technology, it will help them to be financially free in future, if I have the power in my country I would have added Blockchain to secondary school curriculum for further awareness.

It doesn't mean you forced it on your kids, because if they are constantly browsing the internet, they will come across bitcoin and become intrigued by its value, which means that curiosity in your child will start to drive them to learn bitcoin, and here you are teaching them. But again, there are other kids whose mindset is not about finances; they want to become famous or do another useless thing. If they do not want to learn this, we should not force them because it is still useless; let them find it.

True, it doesn't mean that we have to force our children to understand Bitcoin or other crypto, of course, forcing is not a good thing.
I think that "uselessness" depends on each other's point of view in assessing it, which is certain that maybe one day after adulthood your child will need the investment sector to increase his income and maintain his wealth, even though later his child will become a famous person or whatever his status as an adult is for sure. looking for ways to increase his income outside of his profession. So maybe here your role provides an option for you child in the future for hedging or income diversification.
But to be honest, we also cannot force what is our advice to people who already have children here.

I do have a successor and he is still 12 years old, I now knows how to make transactions from one wallet to another, I use Dogecoin and Shiba to train him first because they are cheaper, I don't want to lose some BTC just because I am trying to train a kid, the only problem I am having is my wife, she doesn't feel interested at all, she feels like crypto and bitcoin is too hard for her, I do not force anyone and I plan on keeping it that way but it feels good that my son have interest in crypto, after I am sure and confused that he can handle things on his own I will buy 0.2BTC for him as a starter.

You are right, bitcoin knowledge is the part way to all forms of freedom and letting the knowledge to flow to others brings more freedom  kids have the right to know about the decentralized currency bitcoin and more also teach them about security because that is the first measure.

Bitcoin should be thought to our kids at the early stage when they began to know what is the right thing from wrong thing, teaching them about blockchain technology and decentralized currency cryptocurrency.

Letting them know about wallet security, teaching them how to avoid scams and other illegal means of getting money.

Another angle could be that if the parent really does not understand or appreciate the difference between bitcoins and shitcoins, then the parent is likely to influence the kid in that direction, and the kid could end up becoming a lack of focused shitcoiner who might be out to scam in any way that s/he can figure out, and surely some parents might consider those to be those to be fair skills to learn because the world is a dog eat dog world in which everyone needs to try his/her best to get what is possible out of it, and sometimes a parent might not even realize the kinds of values that they might be teaching their kids, like others mentioned that kids will tend to either emulate or have some kinds of modeling behaviors based on people in their environment, including their parents and sometimes kids will purposefully want to do the opposite of their parents, whether for good reasons or otherwise…

This seems to be another factor, but when looking at this condition, if parents really want to make their children better, they must also teach well, because no matter how bad the parents are, of course they don't want to pass bad on to their children.
If they want to teach a world like this, they have to learn about bitcoin from the start so they can guide their children to be in bitcoin, not shitcoin or other fraud.
Because when we give good fertilizer to new shoots, they will produce something better, and vice versa, when we let everything that is bad happen, at any time it will not be good.

I wouldn't call it coercion, but teach them about bitcoin when they come of age for financial education. If they like it keep teaching them, if they don't like it, stop and respect their choice. To be fair, bitcoin is not the only path to financial freedom or the only investment channel in the world. The world is colorful and there are many better things in the outside world, so we should not force them. Many people who do not invest in bitcoin still achieve financial freedom, there are many paths to success let they choose the most suitable way.

I would think that any parent would want to attempt to teach values in terms of how some forms of money are better than others (or potentially hold their value better than other, and that there are not any guarantees regarding these kinds of relative value assessment matters and how they are nearly inevitable to change with the passage of time), or that certain ways of investing time, money and energies are better than others..and there are ways to invest too that do not necessarily involve balls to the wall plays that rise to the level of gambling and that likely incremental investing and risk management are important skills to attempt to hone..

But on the other hand, looking at this condition, it seems that not all of them are like that because sometimes there are still many parents who really don't really care about things like that by freeing their children for what they are doing and this could be wrong.
See some of the cases that have occurred as possible for example in this thread Parents And Their Children In Gambling where something like this can be a clear example that the saying "like father like son" is indeed true. When we want to make children good, we as parents must also be better first because parents can be a reflection for children later.
As long as we still can't control ourselves then I think it will also be very difficult to teach our children considering we also can't be consistent.
teaching bitcoin from an early age to delicious is really a very good thing to do but on the other hand things like this must also be accompanied by the intentions of the parents there because if you only teach children about bitcoin but parents are still not serious and always do unnecessary things with shitcoin or some of the hype projects, this will not run smoothly because every action taken by parents will clearly be emulated by children.

That is a good decision for your child, especially since he is already 12 years old, of course he can understand and understand what you mean about bitcoin, but using 0.2 BTC are you sure for a start? because for me it's quite big if I'm not wrong converting to USD today is around $4600.
And the problem is again, you give it directly BTC, you should give it cash or a stable coin that you trust, then you provide DCA strategy learning so that you child become accustomed to saving bitcoin slowly and take advantage of opportunities, especially to mentally train and take opportunities when prices fall in the market .

Some kids are born into this world for some reasons, you need to watch them closely and notice what they are good at, every kids have their talent but many parents killed those talents because they want them to be something else.

We have our own parenting style, just as some parents force their children to do what they want and others, like us arent forcing things. When they mature, they will undoubtedly be interested in finance, as I believe most of us are, because when we are children, all we want to do is play and eat food; we don't need much money if we do, just enough to buy those junk foods. I am confident that as our children when they grow older and more mature, they will begin to ask, "How can I earn money online, dad or mom?"

I'm happy to hear that a 12 year old child is already interested in bitcoin, moreover he understands what bitcoin means and gives lessons about many things in it, but yeah, I think it's too big to start with 0.2 BTC given to children who don't fully understand even myself with That 0.2 BTC takes a long time to accumulate BTC, but I think it would be better to start small so that the kid can increase the chances of bitcoin from a low price.

It must be trained in a lesson for your child, and the most important thing is the mentality that must be prepared, he must be taught a good plan for the long term, take opportunities when the market is down and then use the DCA method to get the most bitcoins. Efficiently, he must also be instilled with a strong soul to deal with something more serious including risk.

Child first interaction is family and their parent, some thing good show by their parent will give good habit for every kids and I think is most important how to guide with good education for our kids not only with moral but also with economic financial side. Bitcoin have been popular and helped many investor earn much profit trough their investment, I won't missing for educating my kids at the future how to know and get advantage with bitcoin.

I don't think my kid aware or not about Bitcoin keep guide and teach them how to understand it, not matter how longer need time to make my kids understood anything about bitcoin until he know how potential bitcoin for the future.
Everything have got its time. Just because we were aware of bitcoin and hope for the best in the future we cannot make our kids succeed out of it. To me, it is the kids area of interest that needs to be found and provided with proper education that can make him/her master it. Very few parents does it, whereas the majority try to give what they missed out of financial situation or family situation.

Giving the kids with education about crypto is good, but we should not give them wrong guidence that bitcoin is the way through which wealth is made. Same as the parents if the kid during his young days weren't able to make money out of crypto, this would disappoint them. This will give him/her the understanding about money making and forget the best part of the cryptocurrency.
Exactly. We have to understand that money management comes from a whole lot of other life understanding and children should be allowed to enjoy childhood. As they grow, they should be thought to be responsible, and other factors that enable them to take better decisions as they grow including financial decisions which can also include understanding Bitcoin instead of making them believe this is the only way to financial success. Without those basic understanding, children could easily waste what you thought will be their financial freedom.

I have a son who is currently 2 years old so far, but he has already planned with me that at the age of 9 years old, I will gradually teach him about Bitcoin or cryptocurrency from its usages and features. Little by little if he is made to understand its importance that can help anyone.

I will slowly familiarize him with how it is used (bitcoin) so that he turn high school, At least He have a deep and broad knowledge about this matter. That's my plan for my son. I won't force him to understand it right away but I will just show him how it helps our family life.

I have no child yet but I given idea to my little brothers about BTC. Fiat value is decreasing day by day in my country. I told all young generation that the only thing which is more profitable has price will be more precise than Gold is only BTC. At that time only country has officially adopted it and it's mining will reamin until 2140. If 50% of worlds Start doing transaction in BTC and holding then think about it price.
I will try to start small learning course about the value of BTC. This will work in my area and I think everybody who reading this thread take step about this. BTC is the future of asset and our younger generation should know about it how to send and receive BTC and how it's price change. This is much better than time wasting games and cartoon having no lesson.

2 years old I think he still doesn't understand the world of technology. I guess you should wait for him to be 6 or 7 years old to teach him what bitcoin is and how to use it. I also don't have children, of course what I do is teach my close relatives about bitcoin and how to invest properly so that they are slowly able to understand what bitcoin is.

In my country, there are still many people who do not understand and have never heard of the name bitcoin, especially those who are in their 40s and above, of course, they need patience and the right way of delivery to introduce them to bitcoin.

He said he would teach his kids about bitcoin when they are 9 years old. 9 years old is the right age to know about bitcoin. But it's still young, and I advise you not to force him too much if he doesn't like bitcoin. At that age, what they need most is to play and learn the basics of life, not just focus on bitcoin. Bitcoin is still not needed so much at that age.

I don't think with kids under 9 years old will understood about how Bitcoin transaction, there are not problem when teaching our kids as soon possible about Bitcoin but have looking on their age to be understand about how Bitcoin working. I have son and still under 2 years and I am waiting until he pass junior high school to learn and get education about Bitcoin.

No doubt how most important about Bitcoin actually when fiat increasing inflation in daily year and how much assets down without having good investing actually in Bitcoin, I will try to give education for my children and know effective way how to get advantage when investing in Bitcoin one day later.

I don't have a child but I have several nephews and I teach them that Bitcoin is real money. In fact, when they understood the difference between real/solid money and fiat money, I saw that they understood many things about life. That's why I feel happy that I instilled this truth in them. I would really like someone else to tell me the same truths when I was younger. Unfortunately I was not as lucky as them...

Good thing of course but instead of teaching directly about learning to trade I think you should try to give an introduction from the basics because things like this cannot be missed and are precisely the most important.
Transferring assets if you can say it is a secondary need if compared and the primary is to make a viable method for learning and introducing children to bitcoin I think.
This is important because when you first teach about transfer, especially what is being tested is Doge and Shiba, you indirectly make your child know something that is not really important Grin
Just a suggestion, the method you used for this introduction is quite good but there is something important that was missed there.
