Just came across a science news this morning, that engineers  have developed a battery_free mobile phone that can send and receive calls just like our normal phones, by using energy harvested from ambient radio signals and light.

I was left amazed at first when I perused through this development and a question popped up in my mind.

With all these new developments in science could we say the world is running too fast or perhaps it's just some of us that ain't flowing with it?

Hope it's not just a prototype with possibilities of taking years to have  an actual functional product people could buy and use. I typically get exited about new tech over ten years ago on Facebook only to realize that alot are mere prototype or are not even ready for public use .
Science and Tech articles are filled with new inventions that will make you think the progress of things in the space is too fast. It's more like crypto Space where many are developing new coins but only few have actual products that work safely

Science never advances too fast, I think so as science actually - somehow I can say - saved my life. Generally, it may be hard to stay up to date especially if you follow wide range of fields as I try to do. However, especially tech & bio are going to advance faster and faster thx to AI, which is already used successfully for example on biotech etc. Of course fast advancing science brings also old worriers -how to keep science serving mankind instead of turning tables against us. Think about genetic manipulation for example... how do you feel with super humans who have abilities you can only dream of like memory, brain "processing power" etc. or how human soldiers can fight against AI controlled war drones? View this all against history... the Earth was seen the center of the universe and witches were burnt. Ultimately it was advance in science that transformed us to where we are today, and that continues.
