BM1397AG Or BM1397AH

I have to repair some chips on my hashboard, how can I work out which I need?

Does it matter which I buy if both work for S17+?

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Both of them support s17+ but I suggest that replace only the same chip model there might be differences on performance and temp.

I recommend you to buy the BM1397AG chip, because the original chip of the S17+ hash board is the BM1397AG. In fact, most of the BM1397 in the 17 series are universal, but if you can find the original model, try to buy the same one. Because different serial numbers represent different working voltages.
