It will take a few more years to reach the $100k bitcoin price and I'm sure and that's not to say it won't be possible.
Currently bitcoin has become the number one asset in the world and we have seen that now more and more people have bought bitcoin and stored it but to become one of the currencies I don't think it will be possible.
Of course there will be disputes because the government will also not allow bitcoin to replace the position of paper currency or central bank currency.

When the price reaches $100K, one satoshi will not equal one cent. We will have to wait until it reaches $1M. I like the enthusiasm you have but at least base it on real facts and basic mathematics, not just feelings.

what you need to understand is some fundamentals

bitcoin mining is another way you get bitcoin at a cost.
if everyone on the planet. including a hobby miner in the most expensive electric region can mine bitcoin for under$100k. then no one will see value in paying $1m for bitcoin if they can instead mine it ALOT cheaper.
especially if everyone could mine it alot cheaper.

in the 2021-22 ATH of $70k it peaked and stopped at that level for good reason. because at the time EVERYONE could mine bitcoin for under $70k so no one valued bitcoin at more then this.
yep the $70k became the speculative top.

in the 2017-18 ATH of $20k it peaked and stopped at that level for good reason. because at the time EVERYONE could mine bitcoin for under $20k so no one valued bitcoin at more then this.

right now bitcoin is running at a mining cost of cheapest to most expensive of about roughly ~$30k-$90k(rounded numbers)
meaning no one can mine cheaper then $30k right now and everyone can mine cheaper then $90k
so the price will refuse to dip below $30k right now but will refuse to go above $90k right now.

basic economics. if no one can get it from anywhere else for less then no one would sell for less
if everyone can get if for less elsewhere then no one will sell it for more

there is a long long way to go before this $90k top window(of opportunity for speculative volatility) goes over $1m to then offer the possible speculation of price within the window of value to move upto a $1m amount,.

If the price stays closer to 90k than 30k, more miners will mine, the difficulty will rise and the price range can shift towards 100k.
Also you may have been forgetting about the next halving, which, at the end of 2023 may have to start be counted into the price.

So even without taking into account a big bubble, there are still chances for 100k get at least touched within that time frame. At least "never say never".
Of course, you may have been also misled by OP "math" and assumed he was talking about 1m instead of 100k.

In 2024, halving is going to commence. We don't know how vast it will contribute to the price of bitcoin by that time but we do agree that it's going to give a boost to bitcoin.
$100k could be on that time or by its next year, well at any time it's possible and it's also possible that it could go lower. It's just a matter of time until we see bitcoin reach $100k.

Even if that happens (and I really doubt it would in that manner), it would definitely take much more time than a couple of years. The problem is that people who get into crypto tend to be in a bubble where it seems that a lot of people are using BTC, however, looking at it from a broader perspective, it's much less than it's perceived. The economic system is much more complex than people just choosing a currency and sticking with it and a lot of economic adaptation will have to be made to accommodate more BTC acceptance.

After every halving bitcoin has shown enormous growth so its no wonder that we will have another level of rise in the price next year end.
If you checkout the graph below, refrred from cointelegrpah then the pattern is in up trend only. Its very common since last three halving processes and no doubt it wil repeat. One, due to reduced mining reward miners will sell out huge chunk of bitcoin they mined over 3-4 years to compensate their mining proftiabiliyt and this put bitcoin to very low pricing. Second, this is the period where people start investing heavily and thus pumps to ultimate new ATH.

Actually the next Bitcoin halving will take place in 2024, not in 2025. The exact date is March 2nd, 2024. but that's just an approximation because it will happen at the block height 840000. However, I believe that Bitcoin will brake $100.000 before that. Maybe even this year

It be the time of selling before that happen. I'm sure most of the holders will take profit but after that more investors will also hold to wait for 1 sat to be 5 cents. I'd like to see all these happen before my government tries to regulate heavy like the Indian government.
