imagine a world without Bitcoin

Though we're been exposed to Bitcoin payment system and we've seen how incredible the technology is, like fast transactions,  transparency, deflationary and so on, so if we imagine the world without Bitcoin there isn't gonna be much expectation, and you wouldn't have known that a technology like Bitcoin would exist in the first and think this way , rather the former payment system (fiat ) would still look good in our eyes and the world will move on with it.

That brings me to my question "imagine a future without cryptocurrency Bitcoin and a world without digital payments".
___how will the world look like?

Mostly the same because we would have altcoins. Unless you mean no crypto at all then it would be a sad world.

___will financial transaction be stressful and restrict?

If you lived in 2010 when almost nobody knew about bitcoin and there were no exchanges, was life that much harder? Was someone restricting you?
You felt like everything was fine because all your friends and family lived the same way and faced the same problems.
You don't know what you have until you lose it.

Bitcoin truly has been of benefit to so many of us,that fact can't be denied and it has as well created job opportunities for most of us.
The only thing I can say and stand by is the fact that without Bitcoin in existence, they'd be no bitcointalk as for the rest, no one can tell for sure cause we're blessed with highly creative individuals and so they may have been something else that would have served as substitute.

If bitcoin had not being in existence we wouldn't have been all hearing enjoying the uniqueness of this platform, there wouldn't have been access to privacy and security to asset in a more advanced form of digital, we wouldn't have enjoy decentralization of currency, there wouldn't be a secured means to handle our currency without unsolicited deduction from it as the banks does, we wouldn't have enjoy cross boarder transactions with lesser cost, there wouldn't have been a peer to peer system payment, rate of unemployment and cyber attacks could have increased that it is currently.

• The world would pretty much be the same with or without Bitcoin, the affected would be the minority who are into Bitcoin and to those it would be a huge void as we have gotten used to having a reliable alternative from centralized Fiat.

• To the minority who use Bitcoin for it's qualities, yes.

• I assume yes. The community here is white ingenious and creative, I would assume there would be lot of brainstorming to fix what was lost.

Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are one thing, digital payments another, just think about PayPal for example, that has been created several years ago. And even more than moving money around bitcoin gave people the consciousness that they can be their own bank, they can actually own their money without relaying on anyone else. That's for me the biggest lesson I've learnt with bitcoin.

why is cryptocurrency bitcoin created.
Bitcoin was created for individuals to freely make Financial transaction at any time around the world without relying on banks or governments. But the main point by which cryptocurrency was created is to fix the issues of traditional currencies so that currency holders will have the responsibility and power in there hands.

That brings me to my question "imagine a future without cryptocurrency Bitcoin and a world without digital payments".

Not what I am seeing it. It is now used as a hedgefund for others, an investment and the main purpose is somehow forgotten. It was just a technology meant to transfer funds p2p without banks in the middle.

A world without Bitcoin is still will be the world we live in. There are great things that Blockchain did in a lot of fields, but the world being dependent on it is not one.

This is where we do really love the benefits that we do get from Bitcoin.Yes, we do have long time online payment processors but
we know on how centralized they are and now that we do have bitcoin then we could really able to point out the difference.

Bitcoin is much preferred as investment, so people who have opted for bitcoin might've invested into stocks and other forms of investments.

This is somehow true, the population that are into crypto as compared to world population is still very small. Though the adoption is growing, still we can't make a conclusion for the general population. Because we are heading to digital world, so there will be something digital currency will come into life.

The Bitcoin and blockchain industry has provided several opportunities in the world today, and also brought forth new set of millionaires. Without Bitcoin and cryptocurrency, we wouldn’t have had people such as Vitalik Buterin, Brian Armstrong, the Winklevoss brothers, Changpeng Zhao, Justin Sun and a lot of other people that we wouldn’t have known today if not for Bitcoin which led to the emergence of other cryptocurrencies.

Bitcoin was what inspired all these other tech experts to also come up with their own ideas. And it has also made them popular and made them rich. And by making them rich they’re able to start up their own company and employ other people. That way Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies has been able to provide opportunities to the world.

I would say a world without Bitcoin we be the same as now because there are so many people who have not heard about Bitcoin and how it works. But i will say Bitcoin has contributed so much to life's today and is still kept in mind. Bitcoin has created opportunities to so many lifes. If bitcoin did not existed it would have been a huge blow to the world, it is true that compared to the size of the stock market bitcoin is small but that is not what I am really talking about.

Privacy and decentralization are under assault all over the world, governments are passing all kind of laws and regulations to steal those from us in their attempt to control everything, if bitcoin did not existed then there would not be any obstacle in their quest for complete economic control of their citizens, but with bitcoin there is an alternative, even if the fiat system never collapses and they reach their goal of knowing everything that happens on fiat, at least we will still have an alternative in which we can take refuge and gain some privacy back.

Since we are already involved with Bitcoin it will be hard to imagine a world without Bitcoin for us. However, there was a world without Bitcoin and digital currency. And of course, everything was fine. But Bitcoin has been created to make easier money transactions worldwide without involving a third party. It's called p2p decentralized cryptocurrency. For now, we can't imagine a world without digital currency. If Bitcoin no exists in case somehow there will be something alternative. The world moving toward digitalization, it won't stop anyway.

A world without crypto might be fine, and we can also live our lives normally because there is still fiat that we can use as a transaction tool, but with crypto our insight is increasing, we used to use the internet to watch YouTube and open Facebook. , but after the existence of bitcoin our insight also increases, we have studied bitcoin, and we can earn money through crypto currency, otherwise bitcoin I'm sure other coins will never exist.

It is interesting to think that because technology has accelerated so fast in the past couple of decades, something like bitcoin would have seemed futuristic or impossible in the 1970's and 1980's. That said, it is fairly easy to imagine a world of no Bitcoin if you can remember back 20+ years or more .

World has been existing without bitcoin, the existence of bitcoin is just some years back, which approximately is not up to 15 years of generally known bitcoin, living without bitcoin is what our people especially the ancient once have not witness, and also it stance now not every country that knows that Bitcoin exist, with the existence of bitcoin just make most our transactions to very easy between country to country, so i believe that bitcoin coming to the earth is eye opening to people and that is why people adopt it very quick, and what makes it to work well now is because of technology and is controlled by per person

No need of going back 20+ years to have an imagination of a world without bitcoin. We people have known about bitcoin. Reach a person who lives his life with a job that pays him a stable income and hadn't known about bitcoin. He'll give a brief explanation of what he's living, and he finds that life successful and enjoyable. If the same is raised to a person who have used to bitcoin, he'll brief about the positive and negative he had experienced out of bitcoin. In my view, if there is no bitcoin we could've encountered something similar to bitcoin in another name.
