My biggest crypto regret

Everyone right here i guess semms to be having all a regrets. If we just know what coins and tokens are going to go high values for now, maybe all of our money would've just been invested in all of that potential coin especially on bitcoin and ethereum coin. But we need to accept that we can't read the future, so here we are some of us buying from now on the token that is already high and ended selling low due to lose hope of getting profit.

you're not alone. I also sold some ethereum at the end of 2020, and a few months after that, the price of Ethereum went up month by month. it made me think it was like a dream. After a long time I held and collected ethereum, I sold it for under $1k. it became a dream-like regret.
however, the situation back then was quite bad. some situations such as covid, and others make us need to sell some of the assets we have. right now, it was already a thing of the past that became an important lesson. for now, we should return to collect assets that need to be held in the long term. for ethereum, for now the price is quite high, you can still try to collect it again or look for altcoins that have similar potential. personally, I chose BNB for this.

Dont say that. Not only you got a tons of regret or had the same story. For sure a lot here have some regretful moment on crypto that they shouldnt have sold and just hold, and there is also those who wishes to sold than hold. The difference with that is your apetite or risk factor. If you had hold it and leave it and believe on it. You are gonna take a hell of a profit but thats life some just realize when its end already.

I don't understand what you mean by this expression, because potential coins like Bitcoin and Ethereum always don't hurt to buy, especially if you have time to take advantage of the downturn in the market. for the long term.
Because Bitcoin and Ethereum are two coins that are always suitable for long-term investments so being able to buy both will always be the most beautiful gift when the market starts to improve.

Well, that seems to be the case for the majority of people who don't believe in the development of cryptocurrencies as an innate human ability.  Accumulation and growth - this is crypto specific and range-seeking profits are part but lasting traction is a gift.  Reaching for results is a great thing, but I think it's a classic lesson for a large number of similar cases.

I totally agree with what you are saying because it is very clear and very accurate to say "they (Bitcoin and Ethereum) are not going to zero like most altcoins" so if someone wants to sell something for money he should probably spend it as soon as possible , it's good not to sell the two coins, but for the other coins I think it will be fine to sell if there is a sudden need that can't be postponed.

why should regret?, at least you have made a profit and also learned that hold for long term will be more profitable, especially if you use the profit for important things during a difficult period due to the pandemic so there should be no regrets.
One thing you might consider next is to sell your crypto assets whose value starts to increase only partly and keep some, but this only work for potential altcoin.

The best part about your complaint is you still make some profits and to me profit is profit either big or small, its not the end many altcoins are gems and if you can find them before they become a multi-million project you will make a lot of money.

The sad thing is not about "what if I invested X much to bitcoin back in the day?", that is a big what if and you would never know. However, if you actually did owned bitcoin, and sold them for some reason instead of keeping them then you become a bit more worried and it does make you question your life.

I earned SO MANY bitcoins back in the day, like you wouldn't believe it, I am talking about 100+ bitcoins easily, possibly closer to 200 bitcoins. What happened? At the time that was just a few thousand dollars, less than 3.5k dollars, and I sold them and paid my debt and lived with it, used it like a salary. I could have not done that and be super wealthy right now .

Of course there are regrets, but don't dwell on them too long. The most important thing is that you know what will happen in the future when we have a coin with great potential. I think it's not wrong when we sell it as long as we don't sell at a loss, maybe at that time we won't make as much profit as if we sell it now. But in the world of cryptocurrencies the same opportunities will always exist.

You won't have to regret if you sell your coins still at a reasonable price, as long as you're not losing, then its something you still have to be thankful. However, if you regret of not buying ETH when it was very affordable, and prefer to hold shitcoins and meme coins, that is definitely a valid reason to regret. Apparently, you are not holding them to make profits, but to lose your money, time and effort. For me, i do have my own regret and that is not buying bitcoin when its still very cheap. So i make sure i'm not doing the same mistake again that i may regret in the future.

If such an opportunity is offered to practically everyone here, no one will refuse it because of a sequence of prior failures. That covid ruined my crypto career, because I was scared of losing nearly all of my investment, so I sold all of my crypto tokens at a loss. The worst part is that when they return, it's always unpleasant to watch the coin you failed to keep pumping. We, on the other hand, take this as a lesson and move on to learn from our mistakes.

I don't understand why you should feel sorry for someone who claim to buy eth $120 and sell in 2020, I can not recall at what price eth was trading (probably above 1k) but he has made a lot of profit from the time he bought and sell.
There is no need to feel sorry, he made good profit from his investment, he didn't lose anything.  He should rejoice and invest on other good projects in top 100 or less on cmc for another opportunity.

How much is the price of ETH when you sold it? Atleast you didnt sell at loss and you still gain from it and thats what matter. Its quite normal to sell at the wrong time since we cant predict the movement right after we buy/sell, we dont have crystal ball. Plus during that time (2020) covid became a threat and investors are in panic, its a human nature to feel that way but for holders who have strong hands, they are unshakable.

Anyway it happened already dont dwell in the past, so now be wise enough to not repeat the same mistakes again.

There will always be regrets when we sell only for a small profit and in the near future the price goes up drastically and it must be painful because we all want big profits, and it will be a worthwhile experience. And most importantly you don't sell it at a loss.
long term is indeed the best choice to get big profits, but it is undeniable that sometimes we will be tempted when prices start to rise a little and maybe there are other factors because we need them.
So I think it's better to sell a little profit than panic sell and also lose, because the market is difficult to predict.

There's no such thing as perfect trading or investing but keep in mind that a profit is still a profit no matter how small or big it is. In your case, you're still lucky that you gained profit because some investors have bought their coins at a higher price and sold them at a lower price. We all have that kind of regret but that's the risk of crypto investment and mostly, it needs a lot of patience.

You're not the only one so many of us here have the same wish, especially during the pandemic when the price of all the top coins in the market is crashing, but that is over and gone, it's not yet Bitcoin is predicted to reach $1 million so why not accumulate Bitcoin and other top coins in the market, the future is still bright.
