We have bitcoin atm's in Romania, too. I used to buy bitcoin online, but I realized it's better to buy local, even bitcoin, so that your money goes to your country, even if it's a higher fee, in my opinion.

I used a particular bitcoin atm that takes spare change and can give you the fund in btc.

The real problem was the fees. I had deposited around $120 in change and only got about $95 back in actual bitcoin. Bitcoin ATMs are in no way the way to go for a beginner looking to get some money in bitcoin. The fees would instantly turn them off.

Wow, that's pretty crazy! But it also makes sense, at the end the ATM are mainly made for people who want to change some extra money or want to get a "bitcoin experience", maybe because they can simply say they bought some bitcoins, well, satoshis. At least the more the install the more people will start wondering if maybe they should change some useless fiat for bitcoin.

Actually fees bitcoin transaction have lower than last several years and I see when my friend sending bitcoin from trustwallet to exchange market with fees under $0.4. I think worth when have Bitcoin ATM and getting with lower fees when try to withdraw money and looks better several country adopt bitcoin and give service for Bitcoin ATM. Will interested we can withdraw bitcoin without use local exchange market and available with Bitcoin ATM.

It is cool that we are finally getting lower fees, but this did came with some technological improvements, specially with how we are using segwit these days and that is one of the main reasons. Secondly, we were in a very very hyped bull run and that mattered a lot, during those days we saw a lot of people get into crypto and that caused a lot of problems since it was all a big rush and everyone joined in together and so forth.

In the end, we are seeing it becoming a bit of a less problem these days and that means less people equaled to less usage and that equaled to less fee's so far. That is what I believe is the main reason and will keep on being low as long as there is no big hype.

I haven't used a Bitcoin ATM yet. Because bitcoin is not legalized in my country now. The people of my country are working hard to legalize Bitcoin.If one day Bitcoin becomes legal in my country then of course we will use Bitcoin ATM one day

In cryptocurrency as we have it, privacy is everything and which ever way it might turn, either the use of a card or reading of public address on your devices or something, it has to be verified to be relatively safe and not to go home after using such services and then, you come to observe a verifying transaction on your wallet. That would be disappointing.

Either to use or not is a question for the future where I actually have one before me but I'm sure, I would love to try it out. Cryptos needs more used cases and should bitcoin  ATM provide one, it ought to be utilised as such.

It was the dream of most of the crypto currency investors.Because we already had a feel of withdrew dollars and all our Fiat in ATM.But ninety percentage of people will not had a experience of withdrew of Bitcoin.It’s the digital curragreed.But who don’t like the way of getting or holding of the digital currency in our hands.If any of you had that experience,kindly share here.

I have never used a Bitcoin ATM. Because it is still going on illegally in my country. My country has not yet got the legitimacy of Bitcoin which is why we have not been able to use Bitcoin ATM yet.Many big countries in the world who have legalized Bitcoin and have ATMs are probably using this Bitcoin ATM. However, we are very hopeful that Bitcoin will be legalized in our country.

I could say yes if that become available in our country. Some countries are already using this, it was safe actually knowing that the machine could also generate code/phrase but what something it worries us if the machine is legally operated or not, and we don't make this a reason to seize our Bitcoin.

The last time I’ve used a Bitcoin ATM was in Singapore. It was inside the Plaza Singapura mall where there is a store that buys and sells gold. It was in 2019 where I tried to withdraw my Bitcoin to SGD and it took me at least 45 minutes of waiting before the transaction was finally confirmed. I had followed all of the steps carefully on how to withdraw in a Bitcoin ATM, and it’s really worth the experience despite it took me a while to make sure that everything is correct and not worrying about my funds in getting lost.

Hi OP can you share please in which country you live?

Technically they don't need to print a complete wallet but they can just sent some btc to your wallet and that's it.
Of course they can be used as gift (some minor amount just for fun) but I will not trust such products of course... and If I will give as a gift to some one I will explain clearly that a wallet like this should not be used for storage of coins since "not your keys not your bitcoins".

last several days bitcoin transaction fees looks drop and under few cent pay for fees, I don't see will hard for paying fees when transaction using bitcoin on real life. Actually when sending with the same platform will easy without have to pay fees, like sending bitcoin from one coinbase account to another account, trough sending by email not have to pay fees, will adopt by real company with multi payment accepted for give easy thing as costumer without fees transaction.

So far, I'm not using this ATM because there is no BTC ATM around my area here. And payment with Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies are still not allowed in my country.

You are right, the logic that you apply here is the total truth, also seeing that ATMs have a money limit I think it would be a safe thing, as long as all the money is not on the card that has the BTC, because that way it is the only way that they can mess with you how much money you may have, and they will begin to find out the origin of those funds, I think that is a dangerous option to be able to take risks, however I think that if I would use it, in my country it is very far from me to go to a BTC ATM, it takes about 20 hours because it is in the capital, but I think I would be able to use it, but with very little money.

I don't see any reason why I would make use of the Bitcoin ATM due to its disadvantages which are

1) It will be easy for the Fed and some big brother to monitor your wallet activities
2) Because it's not decentralization and privacy friendly
3) There's always a ridiculous fee involved whenever you perform a transaction through it
All what I mentioned which the Bitcoin ATM didnt respect are major turn off for me.

The use of Bitcoin ATMs for the public is carried out based on the regulations of each country, so not all countries support providing Bitcoin ATMs in public places, but technologically advanced countries have long implemented Bitcoin ATMs, so other countries will tend to follow developed countries as role model for other countries.

I haven't tested a bitcoin ATM before and also haven't seen it physically. Base on some reviews I read I think it's not yet time for it to be introduced. I believe it would be better when there are no restrictions against crypto holding or trading in many countries.
