Sometime the copy cat scam ape token has value caused by the developers itself were pumping it. This means if you must also try to verify that whether it has the same smartcontract that used by real ape token on CMC. You must be careful and did double check for that. So many people have become the victim from this scam token. I do know that if they are feeling greedy with it but in fact that if you are seeing the market and then you can know that easily if which was the scam project and then you will able to determine whether that was a scam token or not.
Just try to do your own research and always be careful to double check,

This is not new and most of the cryptocurrency users are aware of this scheme, someone will send you a token that has a similar Token symbol and would let you think that you received an airdrop and of course you will check the link to their fake website and might probably ask to connect your Metamask or ask for your seed phrase in short phishing site so be careful in clicking links from those coins you are receiving in your wallet.

Merely seeing this in my wallet, I have 90% confirmation it's a dust attack. The purpose is to get you to click link interact and give some approval. Don't be greedy as you know there are so many ape tokens but this looks like the recent one gotten from the airdrop. Check from cmc and compare the contract you will know its a scam token.

Spam token was not something new in the cryptocurrency. This kind of token used by scammers as a trap to the its victim to fool the victim to give approval to the scammers to steal the funds that owned by its victim. So many newbies are always getting fooled caused by they are thinking if they have got free money and they are connecting their wallet to exchange it but then scammers are draining all of their wallets.
This trick kinda old trick but that's pretty odd to see that some people are always getting trapped by this old trick.
It can be said that when people realize just to ignore the garbage token that came to their wallet and they will be fine with it.

Make sure we have to be careful because otherwise the coins in our wallets will disappear,
if suddenly there is a coin in our wallet which is not from the airdrop that we are doing, it's better to just ignore it,
Scam tokens will always be there and there will always be ways to cheat

It's easy to trace always check the contract address, the contract address is everything, legit projects will always advise you to check their contract address and it's always in the market aggregator if they are listed, and ignore these spam tokens if you do not expect to receive these tokens, scammers are good now in imitation and phishing, they know investors are learning so they have to innovate their scheme and this is a new scheme because the transaction fees on Binance and other chains are cheap.

Such things are becoming more and more common as it is easy to create coins and request access from users. Many newbies may be caught off guard by such things. Be careful and double check what it is before trading.

I never attempt to sell any of them because this is what the scammers actually want you to do, and doing this automatically gives them access to every bit of legit tokens you have in your wallet, so we must be very careful.
I think the best way to do it if someone (let's say me)  were interested in selling those suspicious tokens off would be for me to move out all my genuinely bought tokens out to another wallet first. Thereafter, I try to sell the suspicious airdropped tokens. This will be a safety measure that should work. However, on my part I've come to categorize any token I see in my wallet that I didn't buy as a scam and I obviously stay away from them. You know, if it weren't for greed to pilfer, the house rats won't be caught in traps. It's the same way I view those who make attempts to claim or sell off tokens they're sure they didn't buy. It's often a trap.

Token like that we have often known together, the emergence of a new hype token that made dust developers take advantage of the moment. The problem is if someone doesn't know then they buy the token with a lot of scattered traffic, careful is the most important thing of investment but maybe not everyone is careful.

The sophistication of the coup is becoming more evident nowadays. The desire and will to possess what belongs to the next is the motivation of these scammers but no matter the belief that each one possesses the universe does not allow success for a long time. We should be happy that along with this negative possibility, the power of inspection is growing, improving even more the defenses for high technologies and in this case for the blockchain.

Note* I write about projects that can do something for society. Now whether this will happen depends not on me, but on the project team. I'm just a writer... DYOR

I agree with the headline, there is a new lesson in the crypto world every day! It is true that in crypto there is too much of everything, OP has given one example of what can happen in the crypto world, in reality so much happens every day that one cannot follow it all!
That is why w should be careful, especially with "miraculous gains" and "too big promises", as the OP says nothing comes for free, we must work and earn from that work, as soon as something is offered that is too easy and sounds too good the red light should turn on in our heads!
Some of us learned it the hard way, we had to lose a little to learn, but whoever reads this can skip that part and know right away that you need to be very careful cause a mistake means money loss and that is not a joke!

it's actually easy to see whether the scheme coin or not in the BSC network wallet, if it has a value even though 01 cents is still worth it
if it's zero I think it's a scheme coin
Moreover, it is obtained for just free without knowing the origin we get

Spam attack was just a common thing this time. Double check in the smartcontract address is a must to avoid the copy cat tokens that eventually sent by scammers to the random address. I have seen so many people were also creating various thread about this problem and it seems like that the only solution to abandon it. The fact that if people are also facing the same problem like you even some have fallen into this trap and their assets got drained instantly. I just remember about the spam tokens that happened when the meme tokens have become a new trend in the past.
How many meme tokens got spammed to the random address to steal the assets.

350 Ape is 4200$  Cheesy this is a lot for an airdrop giveaway, its not even a airdrop that you participated in, they just decide to send that to your wallet for free, I hell no! This is obviously a big red flag, the Apecoin is fake and 350 would work on the greedy people, this scammer knows what he is doing  Grin Grin Grin.

I think that mostly people aware about this kind of scam tokens that were always appearing anytime. As long as your wallet looks active and it will be sent scam token by the scammers. The only thing that needs to be remember by anyone to not try to connect or even try to do a swap the shit scam token like that to make sure if the security was safe. In my opinion if the scam tokens are very annoying for the wallet owners but the wallet owners can do nothing for that.
The fact if they can only ignore it in their wallet with the hope or migrate their legit tokens to the new address that has not yet known by the scammers

Be careful out there newbies and all crypto fans, a few minutes ago I made a few transactions in BNB from one wallet to another and I got this
I was like, OMG 😱 it's a free APE Tokens, but then one APE is 12$ on binance exchange, how can someone send me 350 pieces for me? That's where I became even more curious, I did some Contract Address findings and I noticed this
As you can see I'm not the only winner of these 350 APE tokens, this is where I started to get angry, saying to myself that why can't it just be only me?  Grin (kidding) Lol, as I proceed in my search I ended up with this website link.
If this isn't a scam what could it be anyway?
The trick is every receiver will try to sell and that's when you will be f**ked up, in this crypto haven nothing comes for free, you have to work your ass up to make some gains and rewards, go after only what you sweat and worked for.

The crypto space is still full of opportunities and it is still possible to make a x100 of your initial investment withing a relatively short amount of time, if you are very lucky and invest into the right projects. That being said it is also part of the truth and the whole picture that the crypto space is also full of shillers or so called influencers that are dumping tokens that they get for free on their followers after they have shilled that token to them and of course it is also full of scams and bad people that want to steal your money.
Especially on the BSC we see a lot of scam tokens recently because the transaction fee there is really low and you can send your scam token to a lot of people without having to pay a lot of transaction fees.

Have never experienced such before, but I have read a lot of posts about this and it is a scam so you should avoid spending that tokens so you wouldn’t fall for it. Seems like it’s becoming a normal thing now because I never used to see it regularly.

Most people would definitely gall for this due to the lack of information, especially the greedy ones that are always looking for free money in the crypto market, not knowing that nothing comes for free in the market the we days. Before you get anything you would work really hard for it.. They need learn the rules and adhere to it.

And the thing is that someone might fall for it because he’s not the only one that have received that from the scammer. So, the question now is will other people who have received those tokens also reason it out like the OP did and be able to tell that this is another scam and isn’t anything legit? If they are up to ten there is likely going to be someone that might be that greedy to fall for it and thinking that the stars have shined upon them. How unlucky they would be when they finally discover it is a scam.

Well said, not all are the same in taking this kind of scam. There are greed people or unaware of this kind of

strategy coming from those scammers who will fall and engaged to what the scammers are intending to do. We can't say that
even with those many attempts that being done with this same format, everyone is already aware of these schemes.

Chances that there are still people who will try to sell and be disappointed knowing that there's none in terms of value
just a waste.
