About TokenPocket Crypto wallet

I'm sure many knew what token pocket wallet is I want to know if its open source because this wallet is outstanding in terms of operation, dashboard and experience, I know it doesn't count when it comes to security that's why I decide to ask here.

Nope, it's not open-source.

On the website description you might see claims that they are open source but the latest version is not which brings in confusion.

^ That's a fun fact. So it used to be opensource and now it's not. I use to like the wallet when I bet EOS tokens but after I got issues with the dex, I send out the tokens. Glad to have uninstalled it. The Transit swap works well in that wallet which I use to move out, anyone can swap thier money going to any blockchain. You, however, have to wait longer than normal because stays pending for hours.

Like how many crypto wallets will end up going closed source? Weeks ago metamask took some stupid steps that makes millions of Twitter users start spreading rumours that metamask is now a closed source wallet and fully centralized.. Some countries can't send assets in peace.

Wasn't that Metamask rumor just a hack attempt? I've read a little about it.

With the EU going to impose KYC on private crypto wallets, I think it's not just the EU that is going to be doing all these. it's not going to be surprising that developers of these wallets will have to do drastic modifications of codes and become a close source before authorities start cracking them down. I think it's not a far-fetched theory so we could say Tokenpocket still is on the right path...

Yes, it's not open source anymore. You can check this wallet though, also a good one.

This wallet called tokenpocket would have been the best wallet for smartphone users but unfortunately they decided to go closed source, I doubt there is no tangible reasons behind this, can't be trusted.
