For instance, Russia thinks NATO should withdraw from countries bordering Russia. All these killings are attributable to the US and NATO.

However, if Russia successfully invades Ukraine, it will have even more borders with NATO nations. lol. As NATO strengthens militarily, Russia is unable to compete economically.

My headcanon was that Putin wanted to install a puppet government in Ukraine after he conquer it and then just leave. I'm thinking something like what China does by propping North Korea so that it isn't directly bordering a US ally (South Korea). With the way thing are going though Russia is probably just gonna "liberate" the Donbas from Ukraine and then allow it to become an independent republic to serve as buffer state.

Might sound exaggerated but they might really be considering this decision. I can't find a single time in the history of the world where any European country was scared of the Chinese, but I can recall a few times when they were being murdered and raped by Russians. Do you expect China to suddenly try to claim Baltic countries, Finland or Poland? Which country is a bigger threat to them?

I don’t know if NATO is worth joining. Ukraine got destroyed in its desire to join nato and when they actually asked Nato to help them. Nato could not muster curage to take on russia directly. Now We all saw the real loser is ukraine. I think finland will think twice before joining NATO

Ukraine moved too swiftly I suppose. Can't really just attack Russia when several members are reliant on it for oil and gas. Ukraine should have waited to develop its own oil and gas to supply Europe before attempting to join. But then again, I don't think Russia would have allowed Ukraine developing those or join NATO regardless.
