Most people only think about bitcoin being associated with the silk road which doesnt exist anymore. hardly anyone i speak to irl even knows the price fluctuates and you can get wealthy/it trends up over time. I think if everyone knew that, everyone would pile on board. sending bitcoin to the millions.

The issue there is the story that they have heard about Bitcoin. People hear stories about Bitcoin of something bad that has happened, and they start to associate it with Bitcoin. I have seen a lot of people like that who due to one experience or due to what they have heard, they decide to stay away from Bitcoin and start seeing it as a scam.

It takes a lot of convincing to get them back to understand that Bitcoin is really a good currency that they shouldn’t even be missing out on. And there are a lot of information online, whatever you want to know you will always get it online, The thing is That people do not make their time to do a proper research and understand what cryptocurrency is all about.

Sometimes I have a different view about this statement I feel Bitcoin lack adequate information and the need for more research work to be done in other to put out rich information that can aid Bitcoin scalability, no matter the media propaganda against Bitcoin from the bankers and the anti Bitcoin crusader have put out it can't stop Bitcoin community from getting involved in data-oriented research.

You don’t really need other people’s opinion to make the decision on whether you are going to be investing in Bitcoin or not. If you keep looking at what people has to say you’re always going to be confused, because the opinions you will be getting on Bitcoin will always be divided: there will always be those who think that cryptocurrency is bad and would advise you to stay away from it entirely, while there would also be those who are fully backing it and would tell you to invest in it.

So, it is up to you, if you like it and you feel this is going to be something that is going to be helpful to your life, then you should go for it and not wait for anybody’s opinion. Isn't it great that we had so much information about BTC?  We won't have difficulty retrieving information about BTC, its nature, economic model, and even BTC politics on the internet.  Of course, we must filter facts since everything is widespread on the internet.  Facts and rumors are always there.  So we better verify every information we wanted to believe in, it is our responsibility.  We are lucky to have several reputable sites and forums where we can at least verify or gather opinions about the information we gathered.

You are quite right there is a hand full of information on Bitcoin from the genesis block to the early and advanced development, as you also rightly pointed out the major problem is wilt the government and institutional approach to Bitcoin also we should not forget to mention the rigidity of the Bitcoin blockchain that requires a lot of hard work to be developed on. The lack of information means the inability of developers to build on the already existing Bitcoin network that could aid scalability and wider Bitcoin adoption.

That's the problem, we can't stop it. It's like you search for something on social media regarding a topic then the next thing that will happen is you'll be bombarded by the same topic from your last search even if it's misinformation. One day some bilionaire or banker who knows who say btc is good then someone say not good then ban btc and crypto then no ban then they say btc is dangerous then they say btc is good...and it goes on and on.

In my opinion, there isn't anything like lots of information on something. I think that the fact that there are lots of information on something is a good thing and should be encouraged. Sadly there are lots of misleading and in some cases, outright false information in our media space and it is left to the individual researching for the information to do the best thing and verify each information with various trusted sources.

I would not let myself be influenced by Elon Musk, although he is a person who can be very influential and may have all the money in the world, but in my opinion he is a person who takes advantage of every opportunity to take advantage of it, I see him as the best pumper of Doge, it is by nature what he knows how to do best, that is why the BTC community in general no longer takes him into account as in the beginning that a tweet in favor of BTC was something great, after his FUD against BTC made the The market will drop significantly, so he is an unreliable person, at least I see it that way, it is better to see the btc for what it is, under what it was created and have an opinion based on the arguments that the books have and offer and what be learned, reading the BTC whitepaper is something everyone should do.
