Do not expect a coin to go up everyday, do not expect the market to always be in one direction, the market is volaltile and fluctuate in both up and down direction.

No coin grows everyday, but you can buy bitcoin, never mind during downturn, be happy and hold, the price will still reach ATH. If you want to hold, you can hold for years like 2 or 3 or more years.

The price of bitcoin reach $69000, buying and hold now at $42500 is not bad. But you can divide you investment capital into 3 or 4 so as the price 6if bitcoin decrease, you can invest more. When the price will increase, you will make profit. But this is a long term investment strategy.

There are also many other cryptocurrencies that have it but that does not mean the price of such coin will not decrease during bear market, but they are more deflationary if marketcap is constant, but marketcap can never constant, this can still make other coins with most adoption to increase more.

Just always remember that the constant devaluation of fiat makes this possible (bitcoin price to be increasing in long term) while also bitcoin adoption continues.

Bitcoin has this feature that you are looking for but doesn't have infinite growth, the price is so volatile that possibly there's no way to predict where it goes.  It has a limited supply and if the demand will increase it will surely increase the price too.

So you expect the coin to rise every day and provide continuous profits? may happen if there is no sell option, only buy option is available. You can only see the increase but you can't take the profit. In a market, there are 2 movements and that becomes law in itself when you are looking for something that has a rise without any correction to break then I guarantee there will be no such coin. We talk about the market depending on the type of market but there will still be demand and supply.

You can't make the price of the coin just go up. In order for the price to grow and for you to be able to sell at a higher price, there must be someone who will want to buy at that price. So it depends on the free market, not the technical settings of the coin itself.

And the volatility you're seeing stems from a multifaceted factors that are just too complicated for the ordinary investor to comprehend.
