High returns in short time period means you are probably entering a ponzi, hyip scheme that will eventually lead you to losses instead of winnings the more you do this. Sometimes altcoins perform good results after being launched, but you can't expect it's going to be always profitable anyway.

The safest short term investment I know is related to services and retail business:

• You offer your skills, invest your time and are paid;
• You buy goods cheaper and sell more expensive;
• You buy raw materials, craft them and sell the final product (works better with food in general or desserts).

Those things are a bit unrelated to crypto isn't it? I mean if you offer your skills and get paid in crypto that is a bit related I am not going to argue against that one, but the getting goods cheaper and selling higher is not a crypto thing, nor getting raw materials and crafting it and selling it is related to crypto at all.

Investments in crypto that are short term usually ends up being too risky and I am not really planning on doing anything that risky. Why would anyone want to invest into something that would be this risky and I would prefer that if I could do something that is long term and make profit I would be basically happier about it.

That's a good piece of advice and I am glad that you know this fact. The point of investing is to earn money.
Currently most of the coins are going down because of the down trend and there are only a limited number of coins making a little positive gains.
Investing in those coins is just like gambling. So it's better to gamble itself than to invest in those coins.
It would be best to either wait for the down trend to over or invest in potential coins like bitcoin and ethereum and other established coins.

for the short term basically we collect a small profit but it can be many times, so that if it is accumulated, the hope is that the profit will be large too. actually the selection of altcoins is correct, by choosing the top altcoins, and of course the selection of bitcoin is highly recommended as a parameter of altcoin movement, so that we can understand when the bitcoin season and altcoin season arrive, so it will be more effective in waiting for the market to react

Doesn't make any sense at all to me. If you are looking to invest short-term then rather go for projects with potential instead of going with a top 20-50 coins which no doubt are good but have very little to no room for growth in the short-term. If you are looking to invest long-term then yeah better go for coins with some solidity and market cap behind them.

To me, short-term investment means you are looking to make quick money and long-term investment shows you are ready to wait for a long time but cannot afford to lose too much value.

I genuinely feel bad for people asking for tips and suggestions like this because buyers like this are easily fooled and manipulated by the influencers on social media and almost all those influencers are paid.

I understand people want to see what others are feeling but these days it's impossible to differentiate between legit opinions and paid shilling. You have to either do your own research or you may end up buying a worthless hyped up token being promoted and shilled around.
