I like the fact that there is no ICO, no premine, no MN, no airdrops or no founders reward. However, if they are venturing the payment system, have they reached out at least couple of merchants that may possibly test the performance of their network, just for the start? Because without those shops or merchants using their network, I don't think they will achieve success here. They need to start collaborating these people even at the early stage of their development because that's where they are heading at.

estimated 4 years will reach 210,000 blocks. there will be a halving. reward to 250 per block. then... what if this happens in two years. no problem. code halving will be executed automatically. it all depends on the hashrate /number of people who mine.

Did you forget that each block increases the difficulty level increases. and the resulting reward is even more difficult.

currently it is still easy to obtain. but your calculation method is not appropriate.

umm... I think you are a little off on that estimation.

Already in the 112,000 block range!

With 60s block time, that is 1,440 blocks/day. If it is relatively stable at 60s, that means block 210,000 is only 97,823 block away, and only 97,823 minutes away, which is only 68 days.

This makes sense, since April was the first block and it is a little over half the distance ago.
