As it is such a controversial issue, it is necessary to highlight that when we talk about privacy and anonymity, it is difficult for many to acquire that right, now in any entity that works or not with BTC, everyone wants to have the data to have better control, now with all the centralism, the fact that someone is not framed in the system is a failure and they will not allow it.

With bitcoin certain things can still be done so that we are not so obvious, however, it is hard, most systems will be implemented with artificial intelligence, it will be very difficult to evade it, I believe that privacy and anonymity in a considerable time, will be almost impossible.

Your online security is your own responsibility.
Nobody can come and save you,if you are dumb enough to get scammed online.
There's no anonymity in the fiat financial system and yet millions of people get scammed every day, their credit card data gets stolen and their fiat bank accounts get milked. The fiat financial system is even more regulated than the crypto industry and the amount of fiat scams is bigger than the crypto scams.
You can connect other applications to your Coinbase wallet AT YOUR OWN RISK.
The Coinbase team can do some monitoring on all applications that can be connected to Coinbase wallets, but they cannot act as your babysitter.
More regulations over the crypto industry won't reduce the number of scams. The main problem is the huge amount of gullible and naive people online, not the quality of the current crypto regulations.
Well said, I understand that those that have been scammed at some point in the past may like stronger regulations but most of the time they seem to be trying to shift their responsibility away and force other institutions and individuals to protect them when in this market that is their own responsibility.

And even then not all responsibility could be shifted away anyway, as at some point we become the last defense mechanism in place to avoid being scammed, so even if the OP was successful and his proposal was accepted I have no doubts he will be scammed again since he is not taking the appropriate precautions and he will have even less incentive to do so if his desired scenario became a reality.

For things like that, a strict regulation that completely strangles the anonymity of cryptocurrencies is absolutely necessary, because unfortunately they are stealing from hundreds of thousands of people, and rising, and there is no way to even track the identity of the scammers

The wallets where you keep your crypto money are in charge of managing, saving and allowing you to carry out transactions, of course there are some better than others and with better security but, I consider that these are not totally absolved of any cyber attack, these scammers will look for a way to circumvent any possible security in order to steal your acquisition, if the identity of each person were to be revealed, it would not have any change, because they would find a way to steal from you. The best thing that can be done in these cases is to ensure your own well-being, reviewing each step that is carried out for the transfers is very important, checking each piece of information as many times as is considered necessary, being aware of any abnormality, so that in this way avoid these events.
