As a newbie in the crypto environment, with a keen interest in making a profitable investment in crypto, where would you best advice me to invest in 2022. Will an investment in bitcoin now still be profitable to me or investing in other coins is what you best advice? I understand that people are sometimes reserved as per not wanting to give financial advice to avoid being blamed if it goes wrong, but I will try to go through all the responses I can get and highlight the answers that are repeated for consideration.

Well as I’ve repeated over and over on this forum over the years, as someone who’s licensed to give financial advice, always make sure you’ve got a sound portfolio that’s set up with traditional investments first and foremost. Then once you do and you’re on track for retirement then investing some in bitcoin could make sense.  You can make money in alts but just remember it that most , I mean the vast majority are absolutely garbage with no future.

Invest in people's interests. Find out which trend is ongoing because that is the place where people will invest more actively. A project can have a long-term vision but if people are not interested in that right now then leave it now and keep it in observation.

I think a 10 or 20 years plan of investment is bogus. We do not know what will happens after that long period of time. Also, I do not like to keep my assets as a sitting duck.

Currently there are many investment offers, even on Android there are many offers to invest with rewards of more than 20% per year, but in my opinion investment is that we have full control so that we can decide whatever we like, and we can get that in cryptocurrencies, we buy hold and sell whenever we can feel profit.

What kind of investment is that where you are guaranteed 20% ROI? I guess you’re not talking about cryptocurrency investment or do you mean staking? There are some exchanges where you can stake your cryptocurrencies and make profit which can go as high 20% and more. Staking can be done on so many exchanges such as Binance, Crypto.com, Coinbase pro, etc. But, you have to understand that staking is not the real cryptocurrency investment, the op wants to make a straight investment into crypto and not stake.

In cryptocurrency market bitcoin is always best and far profitable in long term so we can't see many people especially here to disagree with that statement. Watch out the word I used which is long term like atleast a cycle as of now its four years so you can definitely make profits when you are ready to hold when prices are bleeding and people make you panic as well.

Many analysts believe that the 4 year cycle will repeat itself in 2022, if this happens again and bitcoin drops below $30k there will be more FUDs and create a bigger panic than before, I hope bitcoin price can still hold above $40 k so that we will be easy to run again.

Its in the data, we no need analyst to find that and probably the cycle may get shorter and can turn into any side at anytime. If bear market is hitting at its top then we can even expect the prices to drop down $20K region and its the place to accumulate as much as you can.

The biggest investment that you need to do for now, is in education if you have not done that already. Educating yourself and your family members enough to get a stable day job will solve some of the biggest mental stress factors out in this world.

After that you can start to decide on how to divide your assets. Depends on your capital you should allocate to fiat and crypto markets. Fiat markets namely stocks, commodities, bonds and metals; crypto should be kept limited to bitcoin. Dont ignore the fiat markets, they often remain green on red crypto days, they are source of clam during the chaos in crypto. After all they are here for a longer time and are already trade-ready compared to bitcoin. Dont be stubborn of getting only bitcoin and this will vary depending on where you are located and what the local laws dictate.

Education used to mean something great, you would get a good job after graduating, and after a few years you would be able to support yourself and if your wife worked as well you would have a decent middle income family household. However, these days people are barely surviving with the current market conditions, you could have a ton of workload, 80 hours a week, your wife could be the same and you would barely afford a vacation.

I have been earning 4 times more than what minimum wage worker earn in my country, and I have been living a medicore life at best. This month has been specially terrible, I paid off some debts, and this caused me to have less than what I normally have, which shows that you could be considered a "rich" person in my nation when you have no debt, that is the ceiling, literally having no debt makes you rich, that is not what we think when we consider rich people normally.

If you are still a newbie then the best choice would be to invest on Bitcoin while you are learning to trade with other coins with your spare investment money. Bitcoin has more potential to have more greater price than currently is so it's always a great idea to hold some of the Bitcoin even it's on how you determine "high price" is, Bitcoin will reach ATH anytime soon but we don't know when.

Bitcoin is good, it’s more stable than altcoins and can’t be manipulated easily. Yea, some people might say that altcoins or new projects are better because they can do over a hundred times, but the truth is that your chances of finding such a project is close to zero. So, if you want to keep it safe, you are better go investing in Bitcoin unless you have more than enough to spare for the market, then you can go on and invest in as much as you want. But for now, your best choice are the big coins; BTC, Ethereum, and that’s just it for me.

If you do go for long term then it wont be giving any doubts about potential of Bitcoin and other top altcoins in the market.In terms of investment then it doesnt matter if you are investing with crypto

Personally, I would advise investing into BTC and to the top 10 altcoins, but majority of your investments should compromise of the former (e.g. 70% BTC; and 30% altcoins).

Given the inflationary price of BTC in the market, its price is bound to increase in the following years. But I would recommend investing into long-term due to its potential of skyrocketing in its price especially when forks happen. In terms of altcoins, I would also personally recommend investing into ETH. You can check the price history chart in order to support more your decision in investing. This may give you a broad idea on which altcoin to invest and when to invest.

I disagree. Although Bitcoin is the largest coin by market capitalization today and is not controlled or regulated by anyone, price manipulation still exists and happens on a daily basis.

New projects have the potential to increase prices more than a hundred times in a short time, this is entirely possible but then it will plummet or disappear forever from the market so it's quite risky to invest, especially for newbies. Bitcoin cannot grow several hundred times like shitcoins but bitcoin is more stable and secure. Bitcoin will still be profitable in the long term as demand for bitcoin ownership is growing.

He was said can't be manipulated easily, so he's not wrong. A whales or bad news could affect Bitcoin's price in short term, but it wouldn't be manipulated for long term. The manipulation happen on some event, not in daily basis.

Don't need to ask anyone which asset you should invest in, perhaps most people will recommend you to invest on Bitcoin since it's safer than altcoins. But if you don't know anything about Bitcoin, it's better if you not invest and start to learn Bitcoin first. Because if Bitcoin's price goes dump, you will worried and panic selling.

Exactly, bitcoin hard to fail investors because still remain the best coin you can invest a huge amount of capital and start rejoicing for the massive income you will get in return. Right, the choice of short term and long term can really impact our decision making in the market. If you are not considering these, you would be missing something. We know that bitcoin maintains its growth, so anyone that is looking for something that they would invest in and still make profit no matter what, bitcoin is the answer. The question is whether you’re going to be able to wait? Because no matter when you invest, there will always be sure profit in the future. From my experience investing in several assets, for me only Bitcoin provides a satisfactory profit. Therefore I agree that Bitcoin is the right
choice for investment, Bitcoin is actually very good for short-term or long-term investments. Depending on our respective strategies and

This is what I did as well, to be fair when I joined there were like maybe 5 coins, and Bitcoin was the biggest so entering with bitcoin wasn't a difficult decision but eventually with time, I didn't join to every new thing neither. I never invest into something that is younger than one years old, I have done it before and saw the consequences.

Maybe this means that I will not be getting rich overnight, maybe I wouldn't be surprisingly rich, but at the end of the day we are talking about long term and less risky method here. Buying bitcoin means you will be in the crypto world, then you can take your time to see what else you want to invest into.

I agree with your opinion, Before you invest you should study first, I invest in many fields, I also invest in gold, and silver, but the investment that I am most interested in is btc, although there are many risks when we invest in btc, but I'm not too worried because I have proven myself investing in bitcoin is very promising and can get bigger profits, but the key to investing in bitcoin is that we have to be extra patient.

Bitcoin would always be a good investment, at least till the next 5-10 years at least. Just that you have to look at that long of a time frame, and not at weeks or months, so it's really going to be a long trip if you start investing in Bitcoin (and in all honesty, all investments take time to grow). Other coins would be better options in the short term I think, their growth rates are a lot bigger in the short term if you were able to pick off a good coin out of all the thousands of coins out in the market. It's gonna be hard though so be prepared to lose a lot imo.
