As a newbie in the crypto environment, with a keen interest in making a profitable investment in crypto, where would you best advice me to invest in 2022. Will an investment in bitcoin now still be profitable to me or investing in other coins is what you best advice? I understand that people are sometimes reserved as per not wanting to give financial advice to avoid being blamed if it goes wrong, but I will try to go through all the responses I can get and highlight the answers that are repeated for consideration.

It's too much to look at 100 kinds at CMC, because if you want to invest seriously in the crypto space, you don't need to look at so many kinds of crypto because just 10 kinds are very good for serious investment, but within 10 kinds you really have to have Bitcoin in it and nine more are altcoins whose potential is often good in the market.

Totally agree with what you're saying. The top 10 altcoins are actually enough to represent other altcoins, because all of them will not do well without good movement of Bitcoin in the market. This means that Bitcoin is an asset that must be looked at more in terms of investment, because the evidence is very clear and many people already know that Bitcoin is always more dominant in the market.

I am of the school of thought that believes that alt coin is a no go area for someone that is a newbie in cryptocurrency except he or she wants to learn the hard way and that's financial losses inclusive. Alt coin kinda work well for those that have a good experience about cryptocurrency and knows what they want with an insight about the very alt coin they are investing in and not just staking your guts on luck or pure assumption.

But of course choosing thousand of altcoins just to see which altcoins are worth to invest might be too difficult for some new traders unless they want to learn and lose in the meantime. That's why people here would recommend to invest on the classic Bitcoin, Ethereum and Binance if you are new. You can always learn something while trading/holding these coins and you can develop new experience while doing that.

True, investing in the crypto world carries a huge risk if you choose the wrong coin. You must learn to do analysis and also study the coins you are going to invest before doing it because crypto investment only has two choices, big profits and big losses that you have to accept.
and if you choose Bitcoin, Ethereum and BNB are good choices especially for long term investment because in long term these three coins are definitely profitable especially in Bitcoin.

Buy Bitcoin. Transfer it from an exchange to a cold wallet and leave it there. If you are interested in trading leave only a very little amount in the exchange. The one you can afford to lose. Binance is best but never put your trust in any centralized exchanged. Keep up with the news, it changes so fast that you may not even know. After you have bought bitcoin, never discussed how much you have invested in it with anyone. Always keep it vague. I know you asked where you should invest, I thought I should add more.

There has been recent news about investigations into the Binance platform and its possible involvement in suspicious activities after it was proven that it funded a news channel with imaginary amounts that could not have been sent as a price for a particular service. The problem is great when all power is in the hands of one giant company that can become in control of the financial destinies of people. Just like it happened with the FTX stock exchange. The problem is that people forget quickly and are not considered one of those major accidents.

This is not the first time binance has had Fuds, and after what happened with FTX, binance couldn't be without little volatility. If you are a trader, do you have any other choice but to choose a centralized exchange? Day traders can choose Binance, the top exchange, or stop trading for a while, or leave the market because there will be no environment for them to trade.
We can still use binance or other CEX as long as we never leave too much money in it or withdraw it all at the end of the day.

As a newbie, you should look to bluechip coins, it is both safe and profitable. If a beginner invests in altcoins and loses, they will be shocked and feel more afraid of the market than staying in the market. Altcoins offer better returns than bitcoin but finding potential altcoins is difficult and impossible for newbies.

But when we are talking about its value let's say we will sell it, I am sure the value will depreciate over the years but if we talk about living on it then it's valueless which is very important to us and family. What you mean in this reply is that invest yourself first before trying to invest in others for example learn or gain knowledge first before jumping to conclusion to invest in something since it is risky and you can lose money on it

Home investments will always be one of the best to make. Preferably flats/apartments since they hold their value much better then houses, at least here in this part of Europe. The problem is, most people can't sit on their investment for 20 or more years. Maybe that's one of the reasons why crypto is so popular

If you decide to invest in altcoins then it will be a high-risk investment, but in my opinion, investing in bitcoin will be no more risky than investing in real estate, for example.
