I think this statement is good, before choosing to invest in cryptocurrencies. Always make sure to look at the basics of the project. Don't be tempted by the momentary price spikes of some tokens and projects. Understand the basics, understand the vision, and only invest for the long term. It's all about the right investment strategy before many exchanges delist tokens/coins that you believe are good to invest in.

The delisting of altcoins on each exchange is subject to necessary factors due to the responsiveness of development, such as trading volume and liquidity, commitment among the development team, durability product sustainability… but yes, perhaps scenarios will be re-executed for shitcoins that are falling below their standards, or before that it will be marked with a red flag as to how risky the potential risk is high.
In any such situation, switching to bitcoin holdings is the wisest.

Be prepared.
This is a warning to all of you running after meme coins, even if they get listed on top exchanges it doesn't mean they will survive for long, or have you forgotten that many projects got delisted from exchanges after the ICO craze of 2017? The same thing will happen once a tough bear market starts, so many meme coins won't be able to cope with the situation and many exchanges will be forced to delist the tokens.
But it's also much better if they make the decision to delete all meme tokens that have no value and also tokens that fail so that people can also refrain from falling for the meme coin because in the end they will feel lose too. Deleting memecoins or some other coin doesn't happen based on what type of coin they are, it happens based on the volume. If there is a volume in any coin then they will try their best to keep it there, if there is no value in it then they will not do that at all. Which means that we are talking about a situation where you could make some money or you would not be able to make any money as an exchange. If there is no volume on a memecoin then they will delist it, but if there is some volume in it then they will keep it because it means money to them. This goes for all the coins and tokens that they list, all they care about the volume and nothing else.

The only meme coin I have on long term was Doge coin, and even that one bit the dust a few days ago after a little pump on Elon Musk's purchase of Twitter, so I used that opportunity to dump it. I don't keep them long term

The ones that are removed are Altcoins that no longer have any movement in the market. Daily trading volume is no longer suitable for us to trade. some people might like coin memes, because when the pump happens, those who own it will profit many times over. But for me meme coins should have been removed, some exchanges have rolled coins. I see they have even been abandoned by their owners, and the people who invest there are also very worried, because there is never any trading volume.
The profits that a coin/token would bring to an exchange depends on how much it is traded, the more it is traded the more trading fee people spend on trading it and that's how people make money, the less traded it becomes the less money it will bring. Considering there is a cost involved with such a listing, that means exchanges needs to keep the volume at a certain level to keep it traded, otherwise there are zero situations where they would see it worthy, a very low trading volume means money lost on those projects and exchanges eventually cut the losses and move on. Obviously it is not what they would prefer, they would love to keep it and make money but sometimes it is not possible.

Is it really bad though? I mean I see that as cleansing of the market to be fair, it is something that I really care about and love because in the end we won't have to see all those shitty bad coins. If you are getting delisted, there is a %99 chance that you shouldn't be in that exchange to begin with. Think about it, exchanges make money when you trade, so if they are delisting a coin then there is no hope for it. This cleanse allows us to trade on exchanges with coins that matter and get rid of all the ones that had one time hype and no longer hyped and dead. Much better situation to be with less number but higher amount.

Great reminder! Just keep in mind, it's not just meme coins that can (and do) get delisted. Anytime I invest in a new token I always take steps like following them on Twitter, YouTube and Facebook. Stay updated with the projects you're invested in and make sure they are growing and actually putting time into expanding. Assuming you're investing in a legit project with developers who keep the wheels turning, you really should have to worry about delisting. That applies to meme coins as well, I believe. Just look at SHIB...they are developing things now to give their meme coin some utility and I don't think any exchanges will be delisting them anytime soon...

but it doesn't apply to doge or shib, these two meme coins are the best of the best so it's impossible to delisting from the exchange. for other coins maybe, and it will suffer the same fate as the 2018 crash. the low volume coins will be delisted first. after that coins from the project shit, and coins that fell very deep also did not escape the delisting. So watch what you buy from now on. Right, I also agree with you, the two coins you mentioned coin doge and coin shiba are the best meme coins if other meme coins won't necessarily survive and I see a lot of meme coins which are just trash coins and it's very natural for trash coins to be removed.

What do you mean by tough bear @OP? Aren't we in it already or you're still expecting worse than the experience we're currently having in the crypto space. However, it's so obvious that the memes aren't the one affected as we've seen the like of LUNA that had this rocky backbone and strong fundamentals. Another projects that are causing waves and getting major shutdowns are them play2earn NFTs. There are just too many fake ones of them out there.

Doge and Shiba have proven themselves to be the best meme coins among the hundreds of meme coins that die out every year and it's only natural that both coins are still gaining huge volume and fans are still in the market.

99 percent of all coins are garbage and social networks will not guarantee the reliability of the project, unfortunately. Most often, such projects have only big promises and beautiful pictures in the presentation, which attracts new investors. The lifetime of such projects is usually no more than 1 month.

With the current market situation, there are indeed many meme coins that are not able to survive, because every bear market occurs then coin deletion is often done and we must be careful not to get stuck with scamer coins and lose assets just like that, but some coin memes we can indeed rely on and very easy to make a profit.

I wonder what meme-coins you know, except DOGE and Shiba, which are listed on the best exchanges. I don't know them. Usually such crap is traded on little-known or medium-sized exchanges, but not on the best exchanges. For the best exchanges they simply have no money, and top exchanges do not want to spoil their reputation by adding all sorts of garbage to their listings, which can be delisted from exchanges in a year or a year and a half after its launch. Only small exchanges that want to attract as much liquidity to their sites do this.

Before you warn I'm sure all exchanges will also warn them when a token or coin is delisted, the information you provide doesn't seem to have any impact. Even if you don't have a clear reason for the delist yourself, at least if you are comfortable trading, do it anyway, what needs to be avoided is when a project that is traded very suspiciously will be better out.
