That part of Revelation is written about us. It is to show you the extent of power given to the prophets (two witnesses) over "zombies" and how bad they want us gone. But we are only defending ourselves. Remember the word of our CREATOR already promised punishment to those who harm or curse us. Touch not My annoited and do my prophets no harm".    and "I will curse those that curse you and bless those that Bless You" .  
Those who feel tormented are simply violating the Holy order.
