I want to take a look at how the foreign countries could interfere in a countrie's election using cryptocurrency.
Yes, A countrie's election could be interfered on its cryptocurrency adoption .e.g El Salvador.
HOW?
In the case of elections , as most countries are going through election and some are nearing election,
If election is going to take place in a country that has adopted crypto and If it happens that some foreign countries
has interest in a particular political party or candidate in that county due to some certain reasons.
Using Russia as a case study.
In a situation whereby the country is entering into election and they want a regime change because of the following.... reasons
A. atrocities committed by the incumbent president,
B. Current admistration not practicing real democracy,
C. The president committed Genocide,
D. High insecurity in the country,
E. War crimes or just a mere interest etc.
If their choice candidate happens to glamour for support using cryptocurrency as a means of donation ,
Using crypto will make it very easier for international communities to interfere in that election process and therefore boost the candidate and its supporters.
Too it will also thus put more money in the hand of the candidate to run it's electioneering campaign process smoothly like ,
i. vote buying,
ii. bribery, and
any form of voter fraud,
Thereby giving the candidate good ground needed to wining the election.
