Why do people hate Ripple so much? The moment you made mention of this project they will instantly have a wicked laugh 😅 about it, like this project is just some joke, but how come its still a top altcoin if its that bad? How come such a project even win a war with SEC? I am curious, is there something thats not adding up here?

Haven't I heard the story of '' the fox and the grapes''? 
But for me, anything in the crypto space has its opponents and fans. Not only XRP, but even BTC, ETH, BNB,... all have their own problems. Maybe the case of XRP is quite different as many people see the problem between it and the SEC, but I still see a profit from it, so I have no reason to hate.

When it was launched, it's one of the coins with the highest supply. This was during the time when coin supply matters a lot to crypto investors (less supply was preferred). I also remember someone saying XRP is more decentralized than BTC and I thought that was funny especially coming from Ripple CEO.

I wouldn't say it's a top altcoin for investment. People are still using it because of its fast confirmation and cheap fees.

They had some partnerships with some companies before for cross-border payments but that may change with the increasing popularity of CBDC.

AFAIK, there is no final decision on the case yet. Don't fall for their hype.

This is still alive caused by founders and team have billions of money worth of monero that have not yet dumped. that's why they are still working so hard against SEC. If SEC was winning the battle and team will not get their billions of money from this project.

I most cases people might seem to might have lost hope in the project but without knowing that team is underway working to make sure resources individual have invested will not be wasted or despite the issues with SEC. it's actually a good project with good prospect so let us see the project as good one to buy and hold without undermining the current situation at hand.

Because of its centralization.  Xrp is mainly owned and distributed by ripple.  When crypto start "premined" coins were not generally liked.  Crypto was meant to be fairly decentralized by allowing anyone to mine or take part in the ecosystem.  Now nobody cares because greed and scammers have flooded into crypto.  Sad because back in the early days people who promoted these kind of activities were ousted.  Xrp is garbage.

IMO, I think some crypto people are not a fan of the coin XRP because it was centralized that's the most common argument that they always raised about the disadvantage of XRP as a centralized cryptocurrency, but for me, it doesn't really matter as long as the XRP has a value and then we can make some profit out of it then it's okay because for me I have only here in this space to earn profit out of my investment so I treat all cryptocurrencies as equal.

Ripple (XRP) is actually a good coin and has good potential going forward.
it's just that ripple too often gets into trouble that makes investor holders hesitate to invest here.
actually all coins in crypto experience and have their own problems, but don't let that be a barrier because the potential of xrp is very extraordinary in my opinion.
for me the people who laugh at it are just people who are not happy to see xrp going forward because they have an amazing project if they can make it happen.
if people are observant xrp is the diamond of the future.

XRP team has very bad behavior. It's started with its old founder which was retire from the companies and he was selling all of his XRP to the fiat money and then so many XRP shillers were spamming everywhere, centralized coin that was blaming another coin.
I remember when so many XRP army were spreading non sense thing if that centralized coin will be replace ethereum and bitcoin. The golden days for the XRP already passed and it seems like that if this coin will not go up to the top 3 anymore without big pump from XRP whales.

although there are many who hate XRP but there are also a lot of XRP holders, the XRP community is big,
it even exceeds DOGE I think, you can see the supply circulation on coinmarketcap and marketcap XRP is still in the top 10 coinmarketcap,
that means there are still many holders who believe and buy XRP on the exchange, yes I myself also like XRP and I still hold it even though many laugh at it

The thing is this, no user here can state categorically the reason why, and every individual investor/trader has their preference when it comes to coins/projects they choose. I for one personally do not use nor invest in XRP, but from my research i would not call it a top altcoin like you said above. But just giving it a little thought, people would prolly not fancy it that much right now majorly cause of its ongoing legal tussle with the SEC, and it is quite understandable. Having said that, you really should not be too worried about the opinion of others when it comes to crypto coins/projects, just do your own research about the project and draw up your own conclusions.

I remember when this coin is battling against another coin. it's a funny war to see that when XRP fans are attacking another community. That time is like the massive army that used by XRP. For me the thing that makes people hate XRP is the premined was so big and the team aka developers of this coin is also greedy as they were always selling their bags when their tokens will be unlocked from the vesting period. That's how people were hating to the XRP. it's started with it.

This might be the reason why most users of it laughing when someone talk about investing Ripple. It's a stable coin so no matter how much you want this coin to pump they will always get back to its normal price and who's behind it probably gaining more than you do who uses their coins. It's not decentralized unlike Bitcoin so there's no way you can rely on this coin just like Bitcoin, it's better to put your investment to Bitcoin but only use this if you want to get cheaper fees on exchange.

It's caused by this was a centralized banker coin. Ripple didn't even care with the community but this was only developing for the banker. This coin is actually centralized coin with the vision to make its team become even richer from selling the tech to the bankers. I do remember some banks have ever bought the tech from the ripple and this has no contribution to the crypto ecosystem. Very big premined coin. This called as a banker coin by crypto community

I care about usage and this coin (XRP) is one on my list with most usage rather than other coins. Even against Bitcoin for that is an asset for me that is meant to be kept.
Where did you find the "too much hate" thing? If I were you I'll take it as a positive thing for it means it can be one of the best. The same with what they do with Bitcoin attacking it left and right without even proof to back it up or knowledge about it. It's fun having a competitor and I think they want to bring XRP down so they can reign the centralized market.

so far i dont see any utility that developt in this project, and also no ecosystem builded here. i dont know why alot said as good project, or it caused that alot finance company back them? but personally if ripple have no problem with SEC maybe since few year ago its price could reach above 5$ , community very strong and most of them still put big hope they will win againts SEC.

For me, the reason of XRP hate is based on their promises and dates of fulfilment. When I first came to cryptocurrency, Ripple was introduced to me as a substitution or addition to banking transaction system. It was promised that Ripple cheap and fast payments will push out expensive SWIFT system from banking sector, and would be cheap alternative to SEPA. It was 2017, when Ripple was heavily promoted. We are not in 2022, and hardly part of promises are fulfilled. Compared to other altcoins, Ripple barely was closed to ATH. Since 2018, nearly everyone updated ATH, while Ripple is trailing behind.

There are several cases that make them the subject of discussion. actually not hate but rather to avoid in my opinion.
Their long-lasting cases have not yet come to an end and this makes them bored because it takes so many episodes to see their cases.
But I still feel they are good enough to make a profit there because as long as they are still shaken then the ups and downs are quite significant and good enough for me to be there for the short term

Ripple is actually a very good altcoin, if you believe in this project do not listen to what others are saying, Ripple has a higher chance of surviving and also its a good alternative to digital payment, in future surprises will occur, it won't kill you if you buy just 100$ of XRP and hold.
