Bitcoin Magazine Annual Subscription

Hi,

I subscribed to BTC Magazine but only received the first issue in November. According to their website, subscribers get a new issue every 3 months. So, i think i should have receive something in February or March. I emailed them but didn't get any answer yet.

Therefore, i was wondering if some of you subscribed and if they encountered the same trouble...

I have only one so far. They did tell me in the past its quarterly so its 4 times a year...and they did say March 14th would be the day they would start sending the next issue as well.

 Nothing has come...will send them an email as well.

There is a new issue dated "Spring 2022"
They had them available for sale at the Bitcoin 2022 Conference in Miami.

they had them at the conference in Miami - so I have one from there but they should also be en route thru the mail.


I just realized I said the same thing MJ stated - but I did confirm they were waiting until the conference to ship the magazines - and originally the conference was supposed to be in Q1 of 2022 so I think the plan was always to have them at the conference and shipped to subscribers at the same time but once they shifted the date for the conference, it kind of screwed that up.

At least I got charged for the actual issue... so it should be on its way. But $107 for shipping per issue  I think I misread something when I subscribed for the annual subscription...

The same just happened to me...I would advise anyone who subscribes to check its bank account.
Before complaining can you please confirm that the annual subscription is for 4 issues?

Says "delivery every quarter"... seems to be 4 issues.

And @BobbyCoins.. do you have a pic of this shipping fee? Seems pretty outrageous.
Maybe have a reshipper receive the issues and send to you at a later date.
My subscription had a zero shipping fee

Here you are. Altough there were no other shipping methods to choose from it's pretty much my mistake because I thought to snipe 4 iusses for the price of $148,44 back in November...

I received an email today to "update my billing info"  - I used fold to buy the annual subscription twice back in October - this morning they tried to charge me 55.64 twice - I hope that wasnt for shipping...

I wonder if they were charging me for 2021 in October and being a new year they want to charge me now for 2022? Even though I only got 1 magazine in 2021...?

my guess is their system is trying to charge based on calendar year not by subscription start date

I can't access my order history correctly => pay higher attention to phishing'n'stuff... maybe somebody is playing around with databases or shopify-plug-ins

ouch... seems like a lot of you are having issues.  

I will be the positive one.  I signed up in the fall like a lot of you, and while I thought shipping was pretty pricey, I understood why when I received my first magazine.

It was literally a book!  a lot thicker and heavier than the regular magazine I expected.  

Fast forward to today, I was waiting to see if I would hear about my second issue.  I just verified, and they did not try to charge me again, the second issue has been processed as a new purchase, but with the cost of 0.00$ and no shipping fees.

So I am assuming that it just got processed on their end.  As long as I am not hit by any other fees, I would suspect that my magazine should arrive in a couple weeks.


The only time I actually had an issue with them (they marked one of my orders as fulfilled but it hadn't been sent) I was able to talk to Joe and get it resolved pretty quickly.

Yes indeed, shipping charges outside USA are high...That's why i provided them a shipping address in California (from my understanding BTC magazine shipping charges are free within USA). Still, BTC magazine didn't ask me to pay sales tax, whereas it looks as if, according to the receipt displayed above that MinerJones had to pay sales tax...Weird...

I hope BTC magazine will refund me the duplicate order today, otherwise, I'll end up to lose 10% because of Paypal conversion fees (EUR=>USD=>EUR)...

I paid around 41 dollars in October for the annual subscription and also have only received 1 issue so far but got charged 52 dollars today from btc media, so hopefully I will receive more issues lol

yea their system just charged everyone for the "new year" as if our subscription we paid in OCT gained us a full year. Talk about a huge hiccup

Yesterday we got so excited to ship out the Moon Issue to all of our subscribers that we accidentally messed something up.

Some subscribers have been reporting they were charged twice for their subscription, a mistake on our end. If you are one of those subscribers, rest assure you will get an automatic refund soon.

If not mistaken, they communicated this before. What you bought is an annual subscription (4 issues in total) for $52 with international delivery. The $107 shipping charge is the total shipping charge for 4 separate dispatches (per issue / per quarter) internationally.

Edit: as Krog posted above, looks like they mistakenly charged you again (hence international shipping fees were applied again for the "new" order)

Edit 2: For those with an active annual subscription (that already received the previous issue), this is what they should have received -if not double charged- as part of the new issue dispatching confirmation email.
