Actually Litecoin had a good performance last year because it looks like going to the moon during the rally, wherein from August to November and it almost break the $300 level.

But that seems to be trap , because what litecoin had now is completely dumping like how it happens after the changing of management .
this is alerting for the investors and holders.

But yeah sad to say it fells and the structure looks bad at the moment through higher time frame and it's clearly a downtrend tbh..  
For me IMO probably we will see a small progress but it will not last because after that surely another lower lows until it make consolidation before making new trend again, and that will become unpredictable if it's a uptrend nor downtrend afterwards.

what is the reason for this to have a progress? is there any update from the team? because i see nothing so far.

Litecoin price will probably stay between 100-200 $, to be able to hit ATH on this coin is quite difficult if it is not driven by the increase in Bitcoin. Moreover, this year can be said to be the year of the bears, we can see the price is still in its dominance if it is pulled from the beginning of the year. However Litecoin might be able to hit ATH later but we don't know when that will happen.

I'm afraid that Litecoin has a chance to make big changes this year , Litecoin position even drop lower since the start of 2022 so I don't think there is something we can expect specially aboutt hat ATH thing .

Especially bitcoin as litecoin is fully following the price of bitcoin. it gets increase or down caused by bitcoin. As you can see that if these days litecoin is very very stable. People are not using this coin anymore to do any transaction.

There isn't really a "reason" needed for things like litecoin after a while. The "team" is not a team, it is a foundation that proposes some stuff time to time but they do not even have to. The reality is that we do not get new stuff from satoshi, which means bitcoin is not getting constantly marketed by a team, nor does it offer a guaranteed high development by a team neither.

Litecoin doesn't need that too, it is a crypto that was created in 2011, that is all you need and it is decentralized like crazy, and the "team" is just a few litecoin lovers who code some stuff once every 2-3 years and asks "do you guys want to use this?" and you either say yes or no. That is the real value there.

I am not sure how people got drawn to Litecoin at all. It's not offering nothing new and it main goal seems to be some sort alternative to btc. Even the main dev saw it as over valued and sold everything long time ago. There are so many new interesting solutions these days that are not focusing only for micro payments or normal payments.

It is old and it is trusted and it is reliable. That is why people still buy ltc, I did, and I would again. Not because it provides anything awesome or not because it is a brand new technology nor it is not even exciting neither. But it has been here for 5+ years, can't remember the first time I saw it but it started in 2011, that means around 11 years ago give or take.

If a project has been around for 11 years and it hasn't scammed anyone out of anything then I would trust it. Look around you, there are projects who aim at stealing something from people and making the creators rich all around you, and yet you do not know why people would prefer LTC over them?

I still have my few altcoins since 2018 , and I kept them all these years , but exaggerating about the price? lol I care nothing and instead I am happy if the price can at least go back to 200$ , so i can finally sold them all and will not buy again

But look at the current LTC price, it has decreased by half from last year's price.

yes, you are absolutely right, currently the price of litecoin is much more stable compared to a few years ago, but this year I am very optimistic that the price of litecoin will soar if the price of bitcoin will also rise, as we know the crypto market is currently slowly getting better, and hopefully This increase will continue so that we can see other altcoins, especially Litecoin, increase again.

- Solid network that didn't go down once since it went live
- Has been used as a testnet for bitcoin development
- Doesn't overhype itself. Promotes itself as the silver to bitcoin's gold
- Accepted as payment in many places due to speed and low fees (when was the last time you heard someone paying for coffee with ethereum?)
- Can be merge-mined with dogecoin

It's not actively developed because, like bitcoin, it was trying to solve the money problem and that it did. Not all cryptos need to be humongous projects that keep changing and introducing huge upgrades that may or may not be buggy.

He seems confused or he is only guessing when he made that reply because at first, he said the coin is pumping and then secondly he said the coin is stable. I don't know if what is the real status of litecoin right now because I am not into this coin but one thing is for sure, that is its value can do more in the future or when the market goes into bull mode because litecoin is one of those old coins which has a good purpose.

Bitcoin still drop and Litecoin can expected with higher price always, I am waiting will bitcoin back to higher price above $350 again with make new all time high? actually 5 years ago? Litecoin is ranked 3 currency following Ethereum as second , but what happened year after? litecoin drops  and this is what happened badly that losses the support from the former investors.
I must admit that I am also one of those who Bought Litecoin before but lucky that i sold them before the total dumping at 2018.
