The majority of altcoins are indeed affected by Bitcoin price movements, so I agree that Litecoin prices can be pumped depending on Bitcoin prices.
So if the Bitcoin price is still below $40k, don't expect Litecoin's price to suddenly go up high. Because old projects like Litecoin are less volatile
when compared to price movements for new projects. But the risk of investing in Litecoin is lower when compared to new projects. Therefore,

A bit surprised if there was someone who are still asking about litecoin. It seems like this coin already abandoned since last year and there's no a new thread that was talking about this coin with not utility but non sense claim to be the silver of crypto.

Not true that Litecoin has been abandoned. But we can see it has not performed the way we expected it to. This coin is supposed to be playing above $1,000 but its lack of special utility has continued to make investors shift from it. Its all time high has not crossed $420 while Ethereum has done above $4,800. I used to watch Litecoin like I watched eth in the past but litecoin does not interest me that much to watch again.

last year the price of Litecoin experienced a rapid increase but now it has returned to its original state, the price of Litecoin has always rarely seen a rapid wave, the price of Litecoin tends to be stable, I think it will also happen in 2022. not much has changed.

Last year many projects ended up getting a big increase, I do not think that it would really shine anything on litecoin. The fact that litecoin is one of the most trustable projects that has been around one of the longest times without having any problems and having a proper decentralization is a great point for purchasing litecoin.

However, just because it increased a lot last year doesn't mean that we should be focusing on anything specific that would allow us to see the same results this year as well, or even next year. Maybe it will happen, or maybe it won't happen and we do not know which one it will be. We should buy it for what it is, not for what it could be.

actually 5 years ago? Litecoin is ranked 3 currency following Ethereum as second , but what happened year after? litecoin drops  and this is what happened badly that losses the support from the former investors.
I must admit that I am also one of those who Bought Litecoin before but lucky that i sold them before the total dumping at 2018.

I would say that Litecoin could be not as ideally high as it used to be and ranked a lot worse these days there is no denying that. However, just because it's ranked lower doesn't mean that it lost anything of value based on technical part of it. It is still the same coin and we just have other coins that look like they are valued higher.

The difference is that if Litecoin keeps being around 100 bucks with all the things that happened, other coins could end up lower and drop out of top 20 and we wouldn't be shocked about it, sol, dot, matic, avax all of them could go down if they are not developed properly whereas Litecoin will be what it is today for sure.

All coins have drop last year but can back to higher price different with Litecoin still stable on lower price above $100, today just change few percent only and now back drop to lower price $99 after bitcoin dump. Maybe if bitcoin can stable above $45,000 have stuck only at $120 for litecoin and I less hope can make new all time high again. During 2022 still not effective with Litecoin can reach higher price maybe at the end years have new moment for Litecoin can back to the top price.

The influencer's words took too long to see as Bitcoin is struggling to break above $50K, whereas to see it at $100K I think it's super difficult right now and would be too tired to even wait
For LTC, it really depends on the price of Bitcoin because LTC is a cryptocurrency that has been in the market for a very long time and doesn't often move by itself in the market.

it's really hard to make predictions when currently everything is in a correction position, if I look at the charts at CMC from entering the beginning of 2022, then CMC gives a red predicate from the overall chart and this is certainly not something to be very proud of (beginning of $148 and now $ 101 ), only at the beginning it had increased and continued to fall.

but if we go back for the past year(2021), CMC gives green because there was an increase even though it was not too significant (early year $126 and now $148) but early September it reached $386 and this is quite a significant increase even though it eventually continued to fall along with a big correction in bitcoin.

what about the prediction for 2022? Of course, if bitcoin can increase it is certain that all altcoins will also change, but litecoin probably won't give a big surprise because it has gone too low and what it does is that it can reach the last ATH of course it's something very good.

Even i am not expecting a individual rally from Litecoin but as everyone here mentioned the price of Litecoin depends upon the Bitcoin price and if we see another rally from Bitcoin, we can expect the price of Litecoin to follow that trend but i am not expecting it to rally to its all time high position anytime soon unless we see some major trend reversal.

Just because the price went lower doesn't mean that it is a negative outcome for the future neither. I mean we are talking about something that is common with the market and since the market went down that much then it is normal for litecoin to go down as well. It would be normal because bitcoin was 68k and now 40k, ethereum was higher and lower, bnb was higher and now lower.

Basically everything is lower these days and LTC is among them as well. What you should look at instead is how much it goes up when the others go up, if btc goes up 10% and ltc goes up 10% or more then it is fine, that is the real indicator of if it is still alive or not.

Solana has own market and so as Litecoin.
But what i do believe ? Litecoin is moving nowhere this year , as Litecoin seemingly not moving forward and already lose confidence in the market.

It's been the same from the past where when a bear market started happening, everyone was just waiting to pump back in Bitcoin because it could really help all the altcoins to get pumped into the market too.
Likewise for this year where some people are also waiting for something like that because with the pump on Bitcoin, others will also slowly follow in the market.
