Literally almost every beginner uneducated investor are kicking themselves for not getting in early — but the fact is, most of you would've likely sold due to panic or due to being happy with a 2x ROI.

This is not a pyramid scheme in which those who come first will earn more. Have to think that investing in crypto is totally different, you can really tell yourself being late because of coming from a different time but the chances are still the same. Like, if you are a smart investor/trader, you can certainly earn more than those who come first. Opportunities are still there, it wasn't closed yet for the latecomers, it is indeed the market welcome everyone who comes.

This kind of question was also asked back 2017 or 2018 where newbies like me back then are confused whether we are still early or already late for the party. I remember the price of bitcoin back then was like around 3000 to 3500 dollars. And now seeing how far the price difference before compared to now really amazed me. I have never actually imagine that bitcoin will reach 40k$ and even 60k$. All I want to say is that it is really unpredictable, so we cannot say that we're too late already. Maybe there are still more to come and that bitcoin price might reach a new ath in the next few months or years. Who knows? maybe a 100k$ soon.

It is never late to get bitcoin, when ever you are ready you will always meet the benefit or gains in bitcoin.  If you check history and you go back to 2010 and see how the price of bitcoin how it transformed till now, you will understand that if you buy a bitcoin now and hodl it for sometime it will definitely go high. The gains in bitcoin is not for only those who started earlier but also for any one who decides to hodl some bitcoin now for the future.

If you are now somewhere between 20 and 30 years old, wouldn't it be very good if 1 Bitcoin is worth $500 000 in 20 years? It is more than x10 for every amount you invest today, and for me personally it is more than a good personal pension fund that no bank or government can take away from you.

It is quite logical that you can no longer get rich by buying 500 BTC for $1 or 100 BTC for $100, but as some others have already written, Bitcoin was not invented to get rich on it - unfortunately, this is just the result of human greed that is ready to destroy all the good that comes it's way.

Not very popular advice, but if you want some crazy big money when it comes to cryptocurrencies, you will have to try altcoins. It is a very risky and slippery terrain, but if you can figure out how the whole thing works, you may be able to make a big money with a relatively small investment - although the chances are higher that you will lose everything.

This is so much wrong to say it's too early for investing in bitcoin or it's too late for it, To understand it better I can say let's Imagine you started investing back in 2013 when the price was too cheap and bitcoin is not famous like these nowadays, even if you were started investing on that day, still there was a high chance for you to sell all the assets you got when the price increased sharply like many other people, so if you do have your own investing plan it's better to stick to your plan and don't care about being late.

The main shower-thought that makes me believe that it's still very early is, no one has realized what Bitcoin's real underlying nature is yet. With censorhip-resistance, it could be, that nation-states could utilize Bitcoin to weaken political strongholds. That's a powerful tool, and it might take some time before that realization is reflected in the price.

It depends on your age. If you are in your 20s, then you are not late at all because you have a huge amount of time ahead of you. So you will be benefitted from the remaining time as bitcoin has a huge upside potential.

But if you are retired and living on your savings, the you are too late and probably best not to enter into the market due to the high risk profile. Hope this helps!

It depends on your age. If you are in your 20s, then you are not late at all because you have a huge amount of time ahead of you. So you will be benefitted from the remaining time as bitcoin has a huge upside potential.

I would say that age is one of the least important factors when it comes to deciding whether its too late to invest in bitcoin, if its a factor at all. On top of that, people usually have more funds in their 40s and 50s than they have in their 20s (judging by people around me, including myself) which makes it much easier to invest.  


@OP I asked myself the very same question in 2017 when bitcoin price was ~1k. Luckily I came to my senses and realized that I am still very early and you can see where price is now compared to only 5 years ago. No point dwelling on the past, better focus on the present. And  as some others already said, even if you bought back in 2013, chances are that you would sell bitcoin long time ago.

We will never see the profits of the first bitcoin holders in 2012-2013, but now it's not too late for you to invest in bitcoin. If you can keep it as long as you say 10 years 20 years from now i believe bitcoin price will go to 400k or 500k is possible. Compared to the current price of 40k, you still make a profit x10.

If things should go as people are predicting Bitcoin's price to go way up to a million dollars per coin from were we are right now, from my view someone getting in now is not too late because if we eventually get to 1 million dollars per Bitcoin and you look back and saw you got in around 40k ,50k dollars per BTC, that's is when you gonna realize you weren't late.
So it depends on how far that Bitcoin's price could go from this point in time.

I wouldn't consider them to be late. I mean if you were looking for a 100x ROI which was possible back then, then yes, you are late. But if not, then I'm pretty sure you'd still profit off of investing in Bitcoin now even if you just hodl. Big growth when it started isn't to be expected anymore imo, but that doesn't mean that Bitcoin growth has stagnated. At the very least, not until the last few halvings (and assuming that adoption wouldn't increase in huge increments anymore). Honestly rather than thinking whether your late or not, just enter, being early then nice you got more, being late, well, at least you're guaranteed to profit a bit unlike early ones who risked it all.

There is never late to join Bitcoins.
Due to Bitcoin’s supply and demand policy, you can make money with Bitcoins any time you want.
All you need is just good analysis of the coin and the perfect time to buy the coin.
You shouldn’t take any stress by guessing about the next 20 years. What you can do instead  is that you make money by short term investment.
At the current scenario and Bitcoin prices, try to buy Bitcoins when the price is around 37k USD then sell it asap when Bitcoins hit 45k USD. This won’t take long (max a week). As this trend is recently seen in Bitcoins from the past few weeks.

Many new people are afraid and think that way. But for those who are familiar with bitcoin it is never too late. If we have known bitcoin for a long time, we understand the bitcoin cycle, of course we will continue to collect as much Bitcoin as possible. If anyone says it's too late I think it's wrong, the truth is to take advantage of today's circumstances to collect as much Bitcoin as possible. Like what I mentioned to previous threads similar to this, the best time to invest into cryptocurrency is the time that you first discover its existence. Due to its inflationary value, its price is somehow bound to increase in the future- though this is still subject to several and different factors.

Preferably, I would recommend purchasing cryptocurrencies and HODL them for long-term to take advantage of its limited and fixed supply on the market. Imagine, its price skyrocketed nearly 1000%+ when its price first released on the market- its potential is limitless for investors like us.

Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies always offer lots of opportunities to earn so I don't think you're late for it. Bitcoin is still profitable even for newbies but you have to deal with its volatility so you'll know how to deal with every market situation so you'll know when to invest and when to make a profit. Bitcoin is for everyone as long as you know how it works then you could grab the opportunities that it offers.

If by the party you mean gaining 20x or more returns on one's long-term investment, then yes, I'd say you're late. It's not hard to see that over the years the price increased by fewer points than before. The distance between ATHs is getting smaller, and it's no surprise with a huge marketcap. I think a 10x long-term profit is still real, but nobody knows how many years it'll take. So it's not too late, of course, but the profits won't be the way they used to be in the early days. I think Bitcoin can hit a million at some point, but I don't think it'll hit a hundred million because there's a certain global economic limit to it (how much global economy is worth at a certain point in time).

You are tormenting yourself over something that is completely outside of your control, so stop doing that and instead concentrate yourself on what you can actually do as that is something you can actually change.

And even if we were to accept your scenario in which bitcoin gets to half a million dollars for each coin, a growth that seems to be too slow, that is still a growth that is many times bigger than the average growth that you can see in the stock market, so I do not see the reason to complain about it

If you look at the current Bitcoin price and compare it with the Bitcoin price in the past, of course you will feel pessimistic because the price increase is very high.

I've heard people say that about Bitcoin, no way, too late, back to 2010-13 and so on, bottom line: complaints and fears about the current price of Bitcoin, it is impossible to restart it too late.

I have a different understanding from those who say 'too late', in fact I believe this is something new that must be done with Bitcoin 'it's never too late' if I understand it, Bitcoin prices are currently more profitable in the form of short term trading.

I mean this way, if you trade in Bitcoin and buy the price goes down for example $39,372 today and make a sell trade when the price goes up $41,000, you already have a profit within 2-3 days of $1,628, keep doing it like that and I'm sure many investors are doing that kind of strategy today, try to understand if you buy 4 Bitcoins, as I said, $6,512 in front of your eyes, the terms are capital.

For that it is never too late, if you understand and understand how to trade Bitcoin today.

I think bitcoin obviously might not grow as exponentially now as it has grown from 2010 or maybe 2013, but is it going to go sideways forever? No, I don't think that too. I think it's just a phase of the whole cycle, and this thing always happens, bitcoin moves sideways then even touches the lowest points but then recollects itself and touches even greater heights, you might not see such big gains from bitcoin now like 50x-60x, but getting doubled tripled or even5x from here in next 3-4 years isn't a very tedious task for bitcoin to be honest, all it requires is huge whale accumulation and then huge adoption as well.

I can relate myself to you for not getting in early. I knew about Bitcoin last 2014 but I ignored it after not taking time to understand about it and cannot afford to invest a single dime there. 3 years later when BTC rose to $10k, I was thinking back then that I should've invested at least fractions of BTC back then at least. And then I regretted once again of selling my BTC too early when it was treading water around $12k only to find it mooning to as much as $30k, $60k, etc.

^ Definitely right, BTC adoption has been continued day by day, and for sure the demand was always been increased and as the concept of determining the price was depends on the demand and supply which means more in demand the price becomes very expensive. Looking at the past in order to calculate the future is something people have done for many years now, and not just in crypto neither. If we were to keep believing what happened in the past will happen again, then we should be heavily investing into microsoft and that's it. Not that it would be a bad investment, but it is not enough and wouldn't grow the way it did would it?

If you really heard about bitcoin in 2013 and didn't buy, then I can truly understand your regret, and am also sorry for you too, one thing I can tell you is that regretting can not bring back an opportunity that is already lost, you will have to -
1- forgive yourself and understand its not really your fault
2- quit looking at the door that already closed and look at around you so you can find doors still open for you.

This is what I've learnt to do, I came across bitcoin in 2016, it was cheap but I had no money to buy, I watched bitcoin grow to where it is today.

Bitcoin is here for the long term. You shouldn't worry much if you invested for it for long-term plan in mind. If you managed to invest now in bitcoin, still consider yourself lucky because not everyone has the capacity to buy now given the situation we are still in. The longer the sideways/accumulation period means the stronger the price movement once price break the sideways boundaries. I doubt that we still need 20 years to see another huge pump since Bitcoin halving is near and the price always pump whenever it's near so just DCA in every down and hold it until you get rich.

In my opinion I will say, "No new bitcoin users  are not late or early for investment". Because the current market situation is in dip. I think this is the perfect time for investment . I would say yes and no. Yes, because btc value is not cheap anymore but no because there are more to come in the btc's value. Don't regret if you haven't joined early because the ath or the increase before was cheaper than the ath/standard price now and I believe that most people already sold their coins because they don't know what the future awaits with btc and they are already happy seeing those price. Majority of those people are the same as you, they started with a new investment again.

It is not easy to do, it may be easy to say but for most newbies it is not easy to do what you are saying. I have been a newbie once upon a time and when I saw it going down, instead of buying more, I ended up selling because I was afraid. I knew that I should have bought more, not like I was a newbie who had no idea and just got scared away and run away, I was still around after I sold, that wasn't the problem.

Beginners will always end up being overtly scared of every single volatile movement, that is going to change the more they see it because they will eventually get used to it. I would say that if you end up buying at closer to bottom and sell at closer to peak each time it happens, it happens like once a year and you could easily double your money at the very least when it happens. There are still peaks and troughs in the price that you could make you money, but its high risk for relatively low reward. Maybe it's good to hold some in a balanced portfolio of investments (e.g. property, stocks, precious metals). The total market cap of bitcoin is so large already that it will take a huge amount of money to double in price again.

I think you're not really meant for crypto. Don't push yourself into buying Bitcoin because honestly, nobody knows how much does Bitcoin priced in the next coming years.
Though you can have it long term for 20 years, but If your mindset still as weak as what you have right now, you'll probably gonna just panic and cashout during sharp dips and prolonged bearish period like the 2018 or worse.

It's better late than never. Just like you said, Bitcoin is way below its ATH, so right now is the great time to buy coins to save them for the next bull market. Anyone who doesn't invest now is missing a great opportunity for profit in the future. It's not because I'm saying it, but just because of the fundamentals behind Bitcoin that tells me it'll be worth much more money in the long run.

Despite other altcoin's shiny new features and high performance blockchain networks, none are able to match Bitcoin's level of decentralization, security, and reliability. It's never late to join the party. As I've always said, Bitcoin is still in its very beginnings. It has achieved a lot since its inception, but there are many things that are yet to be discovered and improved. With every bear market, comes a big investment opportunity for those missed the train. When to get in or out, is entirely up to you.

You are right, in fact what everyone is looking for is always to buy very cheap and sell high, that is how we have been taught in almost any tutorial or book that we see, however with Btc it does not obey any law as the stock market or any other market, the BTC has another way of moving and in turn the other cryptos obey the movement of BTC which, are totally dependent on BTC, this means that BTC is the safest investment and its trend will always be bullish, only You have to look at the S2F model although many say that it is not close, I think that there is still a long way to go and for me it continues to be fulfilled.

Indeed. Bitcoin is still in its very beginnings even though a lot has been achieved 13 years since its inception. You ain't seen nothing yet as the best is yet to come. Those who get into Bitcoin now, will reap huge profits in the future. That's because there are still a lot of people who haven't heard about or even used Bitcoin before. If we include that people, demand will be higher than ever before. This translates into higher prices over the long term.

I'd take advantage of the current bear market in order to accumulate as much "cheap" Bitcoins as possible. Once the hype comes back, Bitcoin may never be worth the same as it is right now. Who knows if you become the next Bitcoin millionaire? Just my opinion

Bitcoin is becoming more and more popular and widely accepted but compared to the world population and those who are accepting bitcoin it is really a very small number. The opportunity that the early investor had was to be able to afford bitcoin because it was cheap. I think the opportunity they had then is still present,  bitcoin is in the cheap state now that anyone can afford it . This is the same opportunity the early investors had.

Since Bitcoin started in 2009 publicly, then that makes it 13 years old. So, yeah, new users are dealing with a more mature Bitcoin than a decade ago.

But there's also the fact that because of its maturity, that meas it's safer to say that it will stay here for a long time.

Yes. But the vast majority of the world's countries are still skeptical about Bitcoin (especially with their high energy usage concerns). Bitcoin's price is volatile anyways, so not everyone will find it an attractive alternative to popular Fiat currencies such as the US Dollar or the Euro. What we've seen so far is that developing countries are adopting Bitcoin to try to save their economies. Don't expect developed countries like the US and those in the EU bloc to do the same since their economies are doing well (compared to developing countries, of course). I'd say we're still early to the party because Bitcoin hasn't reached the masses yet.

I think it's not too late, now is the best time. Newbies are not late to bitcoin investment, this is the best time to buy bitcoin in its bear market, bitcoin price will hit the bull market just the way the price as been going up and down. It is clear that many investors that bought Bitcoin at a very low price are lucky and are in big profits now but we don't have to stress ourselves or worry too much because the market will never keeping going upward forever. It do come down to give us opportunity to buy again and join the bull train that will kick start any moment from now. The opportunity keep coming every time for those that can see for themselves.

Easy to say but it would really be that hard for you to do on on to mind off about into those things that happened in the past.It cant really be avoided not for you to see yourself

The window is now open, so there is an opportunity to invest, purchase, and hold—not buying earlier has already passed—but most people don't realize it. Out of fear, I bought, sold there, and I did so for less money than it was worth. acquired as a result of the market, but it is wise to buy and hold rather than selling even when prices are down because doing so would just lead to further regret.

Don't feel too bad. Chances are that even if you had the information about BTC in 2013, you probably wouldn't have acted or embraced it, so don't regret.

You may have missed it while it was all time low, but you can still bag some now and hope that it get better and gets a new all time high.

I think it is wrong to approach early or late. Because if you approach it that way, you will regret not noticing it sooner. Instead, you should focus on what kind of investment I should make for the future. Perhaps you will profit more from those who know bitcoin early on. No one knows for sure, but it could still happen. The current level will perhaps be a very low figure for 5 years from now.

The short answer is that new bitcoin users are late to the party. Bitcoin has been around since 2009, and while it's still young and growing, it has already achieved a great deal. In order to get the most out of bitcoin, it's important to understand its history and how it works.

That said, there's still plenty of time to get involved in the cryptocurrency revolution. Bitcoin is still in its early days, and there's plenty of opportunity for growth. So if you're interested in getting into bitcoin, don't be discouraged – just do your homework first!

I don't think people who are new to Bitcoin are still late. But if I had learned about it when it first came out, I could have gotten a better result for me. So there is buying bitcoin then and buying bitcoin now. If I had learned the technology then, my life would have been different.

Bitcoin was different in the past. In the beginning there was no monetary value for it, and you could get 50 BTC from just clicking "Generate Coins" on a windows application overnight.

Many people got quite a lot of coins like that and then lost it all since they couldn't really do anything with them.

At some point people were hesitant to pay twenty bucks or so (price of 2 large pizzas) for 10 thousand BTC.

It's easy to romanticize the idea that you would have done the perfect thing back then, but in reality the most probable outcome is that you won't have access today to those coins. Either you would have lost them, or you would have sold them for very cheap (when it went 10X from what you paid for example)

I do have high hopes that it would really still remain since there's no way that they could shut it down technically yet it cant be totally controlled despite government could only get some involvement on regulations and

restrictions but not not in overall since they cant really stop it and as long there's some demand to it then its impossible that its price would go down into the floor.

Some might be saying that they are late into the party but we can still make money if we do know on what to do in our investment.Play with the price movement and you would
really take advantage of the volatility and make profits.
