Bitcointalk Supernotifier V2 Bot And Set up (For Newbies).

Just wanna take out this time to bring to the notification or rather, awareness of our newest members and also to those who might not have noticed, that it is possible to monitor your bitcointalk account activities on telegram, it's super easy with @BTTSuperNotifier_bot, the bot was developed by TryNinja, and I personally consider this the best so far.

With the help of this bot, you get notifications for :
1. Mentions - when ever your username is mentioned on the forum (with the "@" sign or without it), you get notified.

2. Merit - when ever you receive merit from any member on the forum, you get a notification from the bot.

Setting Up

1. Click @BTTSuperNotifier_bot and open with telegram.

2. Click the /start button, you will get the message in the shot below -

3. In the Message box, type in your bitcointalk username without the "@" sign, and click "send", you will be asked the question in the shot below, click "Yes".

4. In the next question, you will be asked your bitcointalk UID, there are several ways to get your bitcointalk UID, and one of the simplest ways I've found is to -
-Visit https://ninjastic.space/
-click the hamburger menu icon. (see shot below)


-Click the post ID button, it has a drop-down menu built in, select "Username" from the menu. (see shot below)
-Now, type in your bitcointalk username in the search box and click the search 🔍 button. (see shot below)


-In the next page, you will be greeted with a user page, which is actually your page with all your bitcointalk details and activities, in the upper center screen, where your bitcointalk username is written boldly, you will see some numbers written immediately below your bitcointalk Username, those numbers is your bitcointalk UID (see shot below)


Now, back to our telegram bot, type in your bitcointalk UID in the message box and click send, you will be required to confirm your UID  by click "Yes" to the question asked, see shot below.
 

5. Now, click "Yes" to question on Mention and Merit, lookout for the text in the shot below.

Though I didn't get much into detail about how to get your Bitcointalk UID since it has been discussed many times before on how to get your profile link and I am sure that many will see what's their UID but there's an existing thread for this already. You could also just get the UID by simply clicking on "Profile" and also click "Summary" then you'll see your UID in the URL in your browser which is next to profile;u= then the UID.

There are some features that you didn't mention above.

• to tracked topics
• to tracked phrases
• ignored users and topic
• you will get notified once your reply gets qouted

This is very helpful, especially for those accounts that have a business here like a casino, exchange, or any company that promotes their brand name here aside from regular forum members.  

I have been using this Telegram notifier bot since it was created by the owner and it's really a great help to us, we should be thankful to @TryNinja for this.

Yes, I know about this procedure too but I decided to introduce a new way of doing it also, you can check it out above, though the process might take some (maybe) seconds longer before you arrive at your UID, but then, I think the procedure is still worth knowing, I believe in the saying that "knowing several ways to do one thing is an advantage".

In my opinion, it is still the same as the goal is to set up the Bitcointalk notifier which is a great help. As you have explained that you are going to introduce a new way of getting UID then the thread should be "How to get your UID". The difference I see is only about getting the UID and the rest is about the Bitcointalk notifier that is made by TryNinja.

Whaooo!!! This is nice. I was thinking of creating thread on this topic but before I proceed to the thread I thought to myself that let me make some research and ask questions and I did and I saw this link and I really appreciate the information given to us by the OP. But the issue here is that not everyone that are in Bitcointalk is in telegram. And also telegram and Bitcointalk are not the same app. Or sites. What happened in telegram is different from Bitcointalk. And also their Network connections are different. Bitcointalk network connection is very simple and easy. But telegram uses strong network so there are some times you not get notifications from telegram because of network barrier.

Therefore, I also suggest that there be notifier on the Bitcointalk so that users will not use two app. Or sites for one purpose. With that it will be very easy for us here if the notification is here.

Bitcointalk notifier works perfectly as it is designed. This topic has been treated before but thanks for bringing it up for those that haven't come in contact with the topic before.
I do love the way it notifies someone when mentioned, quoted or merited upon. You can even reply to a quote post from your telegram account easily which makes it more fantastic to use

I couldn't help but notice that your OP has many missing images that were originally uploaded to Imgur, which no longer works on the forum. You can fix that with just a few clicks and reupload all the broken images to TalkImg automatically. Follow the instructions in Tag a user to update their broken image links if you are interested. It's not difficult.

I didn't know that there were other notifications for BTT forum, I thought that it was just the mention and merit notifications, I'm really glad that you shared these other notifications. Infact all the notifications are blessings because they help members to be constantly and immediately updated when they're mentioned in any regards in the forum. A very big thanks to all the creators of these notifications, their efforts are very commendable.

This super notifier surely helps someone keep track of his forum activities. The form is a big space and following up on your activities can sometimes pose a tedious tasks as you may have posts and topics in various boards, thereby slowing down your learning process as a reaction to your posts can enlighten you more and most times you miss out on these important information as you're not even aware of their existence.

I've  been scouting for a way of tracking my activities and getting important notifications when I'm quoted, replied, mentioned, and when new topics emerges in certain boards of interest, fortunately, I found the The BitcoinTalk SuperNotifier "V2" which is designed to do all these and more for me. Its really a nice product by @TryNinja.

I must confess that making use of this  supernotifier has helped me increase in knowledge considerably as I get to see any contribution on my posts and topics of interest immediately and new topics on my boards of interest. It  also makes for easier engagement in forum activities. I really encourage everyone, especially the new guys to try this out. Its easy to use its importance cannot be measured.

I have been using your Bot from months and I would say it's really helpful to see when someone mentions you. I mean it's hard to manually find if someone mentions you in a random thread, like I have seen hugeblack mention me in some threads related to Price Prediction and BTC charts, it's great that I get to know about those directly as a notification. And the merit function is also great, I understand what type of posts of mine are really appreciated. Thanks for making this!

just as the way we see the need for receiving notifications on bitcointalk via supernotifier, am also seeing this an important thing for us to do ensuring that we make alert notification on our bitcoin holdings as well on the price performance, this will help us to always be on the same page on where the current bitcoin market price is heading, we needed to get this notification on the market and i think the exchanges are more into this by providing such service for us if we opted in for them.
