Is there a good way to privately buy Bitcoin?

With the rise of tracking of Bitcoin transactions by Coinalysis and stuff, keeping your Bitcoin pseudonymous seems harder these days. I normally buy through Coinbase Pro, but I was wondering if there is an easy way to buy Bitcoin privately, and without getting charged a premium? Only things I know of are Bitcoin ATMs and localbitcoins but pretty sure ATMs have a high fee and I don't want to have to go find an ATM everytime I want to buy anyway, and localbitcoins tend to sell at a large premium as well.

So is there anything like a decentralized exchange for Bitcoin where you can get current market price and exchange stablecoins with Bitcoin with other people? Or any other good buying option that preserves privacy?

Have you tried bisq or hodlhodl?
You can do your research on what stable coins (I don't think there's any on bisq) are transacted on either platform, and the fee is a certain percentage of the total transaction, about 1% (+/-)

Your privacy is somewhat preserved as it's a peer to peer platform.
You'll however still have to take necessary precautions, like using a coinmixer if you don't want the source of the bitcoins to be traced and practicing safe browsing.

I've seen a few atms as well, mostly abroad, which do not ask for KYC, in Poland specifically, those we have in Greece however, do require you, at least that's what I've heard. Anyway, Bisq is a great alternative, it's a decentralised exchange, not a P2P one, I'd prefer the first one honestly.

Two more alternatives would be AgoraDesk and Localcryptos, the latter was recommended to me by another poster here, on a thread I made a few days ago. You could also trade through here, if you find a trusted member.

Some may not agree that mixing is a good choice, but if you are looking for anonymous buying, then you will most likely have to agree to prices that are at least 5% less favorable than regular prices.

You can check the hodlhodl that would match what you are looking for, the only question is will you find someone who wants stablecoins and what will be the price.

In addition to buy bitcoin privately, there are some exchange and wallets where you can buy bitcoin anonymous. I've heard of hodlhodl but have never looked into it. Haven't heard of bisq. I'll check them out. thanks.

I just don't want a link between the payment and the bitcoin I would be receiving. Like if I can pay with stablecoins (which could be tracked as being mine, from whatever exchange I get them on) to someone and I get their Bitcoin I figure there is no link between the stablecoin transaction and the bitcoin transaction, right? So any analysis tracking would go dead at the point of that stablecoin-for-btc exchange. I don't really care about the source of the Bitcoins being traced, as bitcoins are fungible and traded around constantly, I just want the privacy of not having the bitcoin I'm buying and holding traced to my account from an exchange.

Yeah I guess that is something I can look into. I'd personally rather just find a good place to buy privately, but I suppose if it is pretty standard for private buying operations to have a high price premium then maybe a mixer would be a better option.

Of course, try to check all the possible options and you may find something that will meet your needs. In case you decide to use a mixer at some point, be careful which link you click on - especially if you use a search engine, a lot of phishing links have found their way to the top of the results.

I think your best bet would be to purchase BTC in this forum, while also providing an escrow for your services. Instead of paying a premium on some exchanges, without the need of KYC, you can at least give something to the escrow which is considerably cheaper and safer. But again, make sure that you get an escrow which is widely recognized here in the forum to avoid any scamming.

Though there may be cases of scams even if a person has a good reputation, this is just one of the risks of transacting with BTC- something that a person cannot avoid. Exchanges will always be there, but with the cost of premiums and providing KYC douments.

You've got few choices for buying bitcoin privately, but how effective isn't known. First one is the usage of the hodlhodl platform which is being suggested by most users. Next one is the usage of a mixing service with which you can stay private, instead of paying high fee on ATM and premium using a mixer service will be good.

Next choice is to use the Currency Exchange section of our forum, this will surely help with the anonymous transaction while exchanged for stablecoins. Here you need to have patience and you can't make transactions whenever required. Finding suitable person in need takes time.

Of course there are many ways to do so.

Check out peer 2 peer exchanges, or even sites like reddit where they exchange privately without asking for ID.

Is there a subreddit for P2P transactions on Reddit? I remember one in the past, but wasn't sure if it's still active. I searched but couldn't find anything. Even if there is, I'd advise anyone to avoid such deals, since it could easily turn into a scam. The recommended P2P exchanges and Bisq that have been mentioned in this thread suffice.

I am not aware of such an exchange these days. It became the norm for exchanges to request a lot of information from their customers to avoid the problem of money laundering and tax evasion. Crypto currencies became so mainstream in the last 18 month that exchange companies need to protect themselves. Being labeled as supporting criminal activities can be the end of an exchange.
If you want real privacy, have you thought about finding similar minded people in your area? You could either look for gettogethers of a crypto community, or maybe maybe some local adds that you want to buy crypto currencies. Doing transactions directly with each other - like paying cash for cryptos would give you the highest level of anonymity. Just make sure you meet somewhere in a public place and verify that the funds are real before bringing large sums of cash with you.

Is buying to centralized exchanges and using some Bitcoin mixers still not guaranteed privacy? Or converting Bitcoins to one another altcoins (but for sure high transaction fees cost)
As what other said, most safe as I know and easy to do is buying on P2P, but you can also if you want more safe buy offline with some people like in meetup with some legit sellers of Bitcoin that you can meet in person.

P2P trading is too much of a hassle to me, that's why I refrain from using such platforms. Nowadays, it's way too simple to use exchanges, I don't mind providing my personal information in exchange. However, I had traded with a few members in the past, on another forum though, quite a few years ago, because I was underage and couldn't sign up to an exchange. Thus, since I'm perfectly allowed to purchase now through a trusted platform, the hassle of P2P trading isn't for me, despite it being more private.

I believe the good way to trade Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies anonymously is through DEX rather than trading with an individual which you don't if the coin he/she's going to trade with you is a stolen or not.
You can try out Fixed float and Crypton exchange.

Yes the major concern after buying btc through any source is to safely hold them in your wallets preferably hardware wallets who will give you ownership of your funds as keys are safe on the wallet but you need to have backup of seeds as it's compromised or you give physical access to your device to someone your funds are at risk so be sure to avoid this.
