Bitcoin MIxer (Tumbler) (mixertumbler.org) are scammers - they happily took my bitcoin, and I got bugger all back! Avoid them like the plague!

I think there may have been a previous domain name (mixertumbler.com), and I have no idea as to whether or not they were legit when using that domain.

Incidentally, this video advertised them:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eu5ZJcxvJT0

Clearly, that channel/person hadn't used their fraudulent services, or was in on the action, so to speak.

I had never heard of mixertumbler(.)org nor seen them advertised here. How did you find out about them? There are many mixer services with a long history and reputation, so I see no reason for you to risk your money with some unknown service.

Mixertumbler(.)com had an ANN here, but the site, as far as I can see, has been shut down for a long time. These two domains are not necessarily related despite their similar names.

He does warn that you should carry out research. Obviously, he just picked up a random list of mixers online and didn't test any. I can see there are some scam mixers in the list

Next time, try to research and ask around before using a service you are not sure about.

I heard of them through the video I posted above.

Yes, in retrospect it was a silly thing to do. I've seriously learned my lesson.

Yes, he is advertising for fraudsters, albeit unknowingly, which is clearly wrong.

Yes, indeed. I've flagged that site as a scammer on various sites, including in the comments of the video, so hopefully others won't be scammed too.

Can you explain in more details what exactly happened and perhaps post some proof of the scam according to the Scam Report Format or in any other way you think is better?
You deposited your BTC into an address they provided you with, and after that?

What transpired the case? What really happened for them to took your money. Your explanation is not clear for us to understand and put blame on them. As it we don't know who to blame, whether you or mixertumber.org or com. And also you do not bring evidence of Scammed asset. You would have brought an image to clear the forum that what you are saying is the TRUTH. Now how and what do you want us to do? It is to avoid them. But there is no concrete evidence to nail them on the wall.

Okay let us assumed that they scam you and later days they returned your money back to you. How it happened? Tell us more about the transaction. If you provide proof, it will be more easier to avoid them.

The site (mixertumbler . org) is absolutely a scam. I verified it myself. It looks identical to the legitimate mixer service, but it is only the front. There is neither a mixing service nor any real programming behind it.
When I request a mixing order, it always displays the same deposit address. Different browsers, different IP addresses, but the deposit address remains the same. Obviously this is not how the actual mixing service should behave.

Scammer's BTC Address: 16k2syEbdWfCGpMqWyLeuFvcp32Wxx4qWc

By the way, the site doesn't even validate the recipient's address, so you can enter anything and it will still show the deposit address.

Scammer's BTC Address: 16k2syEbdWfCGpMqWyLeuFvcp32Wxx4qWc

If we assume that the scammer did not test something in the beginning in the sense that some transactions are actually his, in a little over 1 year he earned over 3 BTC in a fairly simple way. I reported the site as deceptive (use your browser Help tab - check for that option), so we can only hope that the site will be blocked in all browsers.

Hey Lucius, where did you find that address? I don't think it's the one on the scammer's site.

Here's what I find on blockchain explorer:

Hey Lucius, where did you find that address? I don't think it's the one on the scammer's site.

Here's what I find on blockchain explorer:

https://blockchair.com/bitcoin/address/16k2syEbdWfCGpMqWyLeuFvcp32Wxx4qWc

I used a search engine (google) to check the address you posted and the first result was that address, probably because this address you provided is part of the outputs address, and it is possible that it also belongs to the scammer. I'm not an expert in blockchain analysis, and obviously, search engines are not an ideal solution for such searches.

That is the problem with Youtube and most of the social media site. The channel is of one of those crypto relate media outlets. Maybe you can try to write to the support pointing out that their channel is promoting so mixers that are scam.

You can also link this scam accusation and others like that is smatmixer which is even offline by the way.
