Newbie rank in this forum is the beginning of many steps of success in this community and then why should we ashamed in our rank?  Take it note all the user here in forum start as a newbies so if you are new in this community don't ashamed  on a what you are already achieved. Sure, everyone was a newbie, me too. I also joined this forum once the Merit system was applied. So, we actually have the same opportunity and have the same situation. It depends on ourselves if we want to improve our rank or not. Actually, no need to be ashamed of being a newbie, because everyone here was a newbie too. Just do the best even as a newbie and the time will prove that you deserve to rank up. There is a quote I read somewhere that said "You don't have to be a "Legendary member" to be considered as a "real asset" of the forum" which the message behind is very true. I also a newbie rank before so it's only natural to go through that phase. I joined Bitcointalk forum and few days later merit was implemented where I am very close for ranking up to jr. member. Just continue doing what you best to contribute and you'll get more merits to rank up and also getting vast knowledge.

Nobody should ever be afraid of who or what they are. Being a novice is not a big concern because it appears that everyone started from zero, and rank doesn't indicate how significant or useful you are in the forum. Instead, focus on being successful and reliable there.
        You only need to be diligent and more engaged with the forum in order to study the forum rules, learn a lot from it, and utilize the forum as a learning resource. More importantly, be genuine and contribute high-quality posts to the topic.

What do you mean by receiving the rank of a newbie? Newbie is the ground floor rank of every newly registered member. You don't left a finger to achieve it.

It still requires very very minor work, making 1 post and wait for activity count which is executed every hour.

If you don't make any post, you will not gain any activity point and your account will be Brandnew forever.

If you make one post, it gets deleted or your account gets nuked, you will not achieve the Newbie rank.

There are two newbies in this forum those in rank and those in knowledge, you could have a member rank but if your knowledge of Cryptocurrency is not ample then you're still a newbie, and you could be a newbie rank here but your knowledge about Cryptocurrency is complete then you can be considered the rank of Senior or of those higher level, you should be comfortable on your level of knowledge than your rank here.

So - if you feel you are still a beginner where your knowledge of bitcoin and crypto still needs to be honed, then don't involve yourself too much into useless discussions. For example - spending a lot of time reading drama threads or something like that.

even though this is perspective, but i don't agree with your opinion. in fact, i don't think the beginner ranking is something to be ashamed of because it's just a stage that we have to go through and because every member here must have gone through the beginner ranking stage.

for this one i agree that if we focus more on always developing by increasing knowledge that is a good thing and in my opinion it should be applied by everyone regardless they are still beginners or even higher ranks.

I don't know why you should be ashamed of being a newbie. It's just a nae tag on the forum and nothing more. It only designates you to be new on forum but, doenst tell ouch about your knowledge on cryptocurrency. Your expressions does that for you, it tells you to be a pro on the subject or not.

Now that you've out grown the rank, what much difference does it make? As far as the forum goes, your still a beginner based on ranks. In other terms, you might be more and that's what it is.

There is no shame in learning, you don't know, wants to know and so, you study so that you know and that's where the pride is.

I spend some good quality time reading and learning new things I never knew before here on the forum and I must confess, these drama threads on reputation and scam accusation board could be quite entertaining. Asides from threads about members taking out loans and then defaulting on such loans(it’s not cool having to read about lenders having to deal with bad debts), it could be quite interesting reading though these drama threads. You could learn a thing or two from them. You could also find some of these drama threads amusing.
